Excellence knowledge, always in a good mood! Hakuna Matata
5/5

With Suricata Safari you are missing nothing. Our guide was just the best of all - we saw all big 5, and even (of course my favourite) a honey badger! Lion Babys we’re playing in the gras, next to it we saw a leopard eating his prey in a tree. We slept in the Serengeti next to buffalos, zebras and lions, we had the best meals compared to other companys.
Just book Suricata - take the 7 days, it‘s worth it!

We had the best experience on our honeymoon with Bateleur , especially our driver Victor who ensured we didn’t miss a thing during our trip! I cannot speak highly enough of the trip and we saw everything we could have dreamed of and more. We were made to feel relaxed, safe and completely catered for throughout. Couldn’t fault a thing! Thank you so much!

Worth Every Dollar
5/5

Having gone to a safari before, the safari offered by Ongeri Expeditions was way different and the luxury level cannot be unmatched! We enjoyed all the four destinations we went to; Amboseli - we saw the big elephants, Samburu - we were lucky to spot all the special five, Ol Pejeta - This conservancy was special to us, we saw the last two northern white rhinos and that was amazing and finally we finished with Masai Mara - were we saw the big five and had breakfast with the lions !
My family and I want to thank Abner for organizing such a great safari! All went well and we really appreciate. I recommend Abner and the team at Ongeri Expeditions if you’re looking for a well planned luxury safari.

We love Zohar & highly recommend their tours!
5/5

If you are currently reading reviews deciding which safari company to book with…stop searching, and book with Zohar. We originally decided to book with Zohar because of Lilian’s timely and thorough responses, and our entire experience proved we made the correct decision. We felt supported by the Zohar staff before and during our entire Safari (special shout-out to our guide Tom, Lilian, Goodluck, and David for their amazing hospitality)!

We were under the care of our guide Tom and could not ask for a more knowledgeable and friendly person to take us on our safari. Tom handled everything from scheduling meals, registering at parks, navigating the area (without a GPS!), and communicating important details with the lodge staff. He was a wealth of information and answered all of our questions relating to all things Tanzania (wildlife, culture, teaching us Swahili). Tom has a great eye for spotting wildlife, and we saw something spectacular nearly every day on our safari. As two women traveling alone, we always felt safe and respected by Tom. We said goodbye to a good friend by the time Tom dropped us off at the airport.

The Safari vehicle is very sturdy. I usually have motion sickness on bumpy roads but didn’t feel sick once during our trip. The majority of the Safari is spent on dirt roads with uneven surfaces. The vehicle has great shocks and is made of steel, and we always felt safe from wildlife and any road hazards.

Tipping on the safari was appreciated (and expected). We brought plenty of small bills in USD and tipped the lodge staff for carrying our bags, at meals, and at the end of our stay. We also tipped our canoe and hiking guides, the airport shuttle driver, and the pilot/ground crew/transport driver for the hot air balloon ride. And of course, be sure to bring cash for your safari guide! Most places did not take credit card. We never exchanged USD for Tanzanian shillings, though some prices were a little cheaper in shillings.

We recommend bringing wet wipes to clean your hands and a scarf/something to cover your hair, as it can get very dusty during game drives (but so worth it!).

Asante sana to the entire Zohar staff! We loved our trip and will recommend Zohar to our family and friends.

Extremely welcoming & hospitable.

My family and I had such an amazing time with Meddy & Moses. We did the 7-day tour and traveled to multiple locations in Uganda. Our operators made us feel right at home by going out of their way to cater to our needs. The views at Sipi Falls, and Murchison Falls were stunning. The Nile Rafting, game drives, etc. were all life changing experiences. I can confidently say that we loved our experience with Bright Safaris Uganda, and we now view Meddy & Moses as close friends. Thank you for showing us your beautiful country!

We'll never forget our 5 days in Masai Mara and Lake Nakuru. Thanks to Joel, it was very easy for us to organize this and everything went exactly as we planned, and even exceeded our expectations. Amazing safari and sceneries were even better with our guide Patrick who seemed just excited about the game drives as we were. He went out of his way to show us all the beauty of both places and accommodate our preferences. On top of that, he made game drives, and the ones between the places, more fun, talking to us not just about animals and plants (which he was very knowledgeable of), but about life and Kenya in general, always polite and with a smile on his face, making us feel very comfortable and really immersed in this once in a lifetime experience.

Outstanding trip to Selous NP and Kilwa Kisiwani with Davis
5/5

Upfront, having been travelling with a few tour providers in Tansania, I just have to state that Nyasi Adventure provided with me with the undoubtedly best experience there and on top, Davis, was a wonderful person, excellent driver and highly knowledgeable guide. Additionally everything went smooth and perfect from the moment I was picked up at the airport until my drop off.

I booked a 5 days safari including Selous NP and Kilwa Kisiwani. I was picked up on day one at Nyerere International Airport and we started our journey to Selous NP. In the evening I went on a boat safari on the Rufiji river, where I saw loads of crocodiles, reptiles and hippos before marvelling at a magnificent sunset over the river. The next day we headed off for a full time jeep safari in Rufiji which was simply amazing due to the knowledge of Davis and his ability to track each animal around. What I loved a lot was the amount of young animals with there mum I saw on this day - and my first lion of the trip. The next day, after a bush walking safari, giving a deep inside into medical plants and feeling the wilderness, as we had to run away three times from being to close to elephants, we headed to Kilwa Masoko into a wonderful lodge on the shore of the Indian Ocean. The next day was dedicated to exploring the remains of Kilwa Kisiwani and Songo Mnara, both UNESCO world heritage sights (as well as Selous NP). These cities had their peak in the 13th to 16th centuries, when Kilwa Kisiwani was the most important trade city on the Indian Ocean coast trading with gold from Zimbabwe, and the remaining buildings as the Grande Mosque or the biggest palace south of the Sahara were just breath taking. The following day after some last relaxation at the beach we had unfortunately to head back to Dar, where I had to catch a flight for my next adventure.

To sum up, I wouldn't know what could have been better in the organisation of this trip by Nyasi Adventure. Accomodation, food, transfer, guiding and all others were simply great. Beyond that, Davis was such a wonderful guy that it felt being on holidays with a friend. Hence, if you ever consider travelling into that region, Nyasi Adventure should be your choice.
