Had a fantastic time with KingTomondo and our driver Said. Tsavo East and West. My second booking with this company and as happy as with the first one. Vehicles are super in shape, guides are great. Recommended and will definitely return again.

It was the best trip I have ever experienced, the time management, the personal touch with the Bovid Africa safaris team and how they understood our needs was everything. I would highly recommend and I'll definitely choose them any day!

Good communication, excellent service and flexible
5/5

We had a fabulous 4 day trip in Masai Mara & Nakuru parcs in July 2021. Unbeknown to us, we choose a great time to go there (winter) and thus saw all the main animals that one could expect. Thank you to jockey tours for organising this trip: it went perfect, smooth and without a hitch. We can’t fault Jockey they did well here couldn’t ask for more.

What makes or break such a trip is the guide. Raheem who was our guide for the trip and he was just amazing: Raheem is a safe driver and a knowledgeable guide that knows the tricky roads of Masai Mara inside out. His willingness and ability to talk to other drivers enabled us to see many animals we would otherwise not have seen. Chatting with him was very pleasant and we learned a lot. What’s especially amazing is that after 8 years doing this job, his enthusiasm remains intact!

Finally I would like to add that there is more than to a safari than animals. the nature and the landscapes in and out the parc, the drive to/from the parc, the people you meet, the food you eat, the experience of sleeping in a tent etc. all this makes a safari a very unique experience well worth the money.

Ps: take a 4x4 land cruiser not a minivan minivans may be a littler faster on the road and cheaper but for smoothness of the ride in the parc, reaching some spots if rain falls and the general atmosphere a land cruiser is much better.

Beyond our expectations
5/5

My partner and I went on our first safari this year in June. We chose African big cats as we wanted something more private and they were the most helpful from the few companies we contacted by email. Everything went so smoothly from the organization till the end. We had specific requests prior and during the safari and they always accommodated it without any problem and went beyond to make sure to fill our needs.

Justice was our first contact and was absolutely brilliant. Our guide Emmanuel was very friendly, knowledgeable and made us feel comfortable and welcome at all times.

The lodges/camp the company picked for us to stay were always very good from all perspectives

I can say African big cats went above our expectations in terms of customers service and the experience itself. I would confidently recommend them to any of my friends and family.

She gave an accurate description of the hotel and the activities.
5/5

The tours and services were worth every penny. From a well informed agent, to a polite knowledgeable driver, our trip started early in the morning where we went on a safari. After that, we went back to our hotel room which looked exactly as it was described by our agent. Each and every staff member was polite and respectful. My family and I enjoyed every moment of our trip. Thank you so much!

5 out of 5 of the big five on our Kenia Experience excursion.
4/5

We did this four day three night excursion with “KE” in conjunction with our Nomad tour.

We were collected from our hotel in Nairobi ‪at 8am‬ for the ~280km, 7.5 hour drive (with a couple of stops) to the Maasai Mara. On arrival at the Olairragai Camp we were greeted by the onsite team and shown to our permanent tents, these were very impressive, large main room and double bed with attached bathroom which included a shower, toilet and hand basin. The camp had set up a wetback hot water system so having hot showers was a real bonus. That same afternoon we visited the neighbouring Maasai Village and learned how they live. Finally on day 1 we entered the Massai Mara National Reserve for the final couple of hours of daylight and within 30 min’s we had been rewarded with sightings of herds of Zebra, Wildebeest and Giraffes which were topped off by a group of Lioness’s feeding on a recent kill watched closely by many Vultures. The preferred Safari vehicles here are 4 Wheel Drive (6 seater) vans with pop up roofs for viewing and photo taking although not as ideal as the 4 wheel drives trucks in the Serengeti they proved adequate & Isaac our driver / guide spoke good English and shared lots of interesting information with us. The second day in the Massai Mara saw us game driving for ~ 11 hours and spotting plenty of game including several Lion and Leopard encounters. So after 2 days we have seen 4 out of 5 of the “Big Five” and on day 3 are leaving the park to visit Lake Nakuru another reasonable travel day traversing the highlands at 2,700 metres above sea level 310km and ~ 6 hours. The accommodation at the Kivu Resort was budget but fine and the resort had a good restaurant and bar and even a 25 metre swimming pool. After settling in we went for our final game drive in the Lake Nakuru National Park, this proved to be so different to the Serengeti and the Maasai Mara as in places the bush was think and close to the road making animal spotting tuff but in other areas it opened up and gave us Rhino (yah 5 out of 5 now) and Flamingo along with plenty of the game animals you would expect to see. The bonus here at the lake are the wonderful water views made available and the changing afternoon sunlight on the water and trees. Final day was the drive back to Nairobi.
Our group was 11 and for that number we had 2 guide / drivers, a cook, an assistant cook, and the crew at the permanent camp in the Maasai Mara.
The game drives in both the Maasai Mara and at Lake Nakuru were good and we saw everything we hoped for other than the Wildebeest migration.
It would be smart to consider how you can protect your camera from the large amount of dust it will endure.

Lenchada is the Pride of Masai Mara Safari-----
5/5

Lenchada Safari.... I still remember the smile and kindness of Mr. Alex... Yes Alex is the CEO of the Company, but a ground to earth personality.

When Initially I made a enquiry through Safari Booking, within minutes I got a call from Kenya, stated that I am Alex Calling from Lenchada Safari.. from that point I feel that this company will be secure and reliable as they take good care of customer, and they believe the customer is the King. But still I made few other enquiry with other group like KARIBU SAFARIS, Axis Africa Expedition & Safaris , Enchoro Wildlife Camp Masai Mara, Jocky Tours and Safaris - , Spirit of Kenya, Right Choice Tours & Safaris, Mufasa Tours and Travels, Tekko Tours and Travel, Deep Forest Safaris.... unfortunately they all are very expensive... some of them are 300% higher than Lenchada.... and Alex provided me a best price for 3 of us with a Landcruiser Jeep Safari... The price given by him was the best and cheapest, So we thought that he might be cheating... because this what we all think about African People... But believe me, this gentlemen changed my complete thought about Africa, and I felt very guilty about misunderstanding the African People.

On first Day, he personally came to pick us in Nairobi with one of his Driver Mr. Jack. Unfortunately I had some bad experience with the Hotel I choose to stay on arrival to take some rest, the Name of the Hotel is Eldon Villas, they snatched $500 from my purse and even not ready to review the CCTV. When I was arguing with the Hotel Staff, My friend Alex was waiting for me in the gate and he said "Abdulla... Dont worry about the Money, You can start your trip and Pay me later or after you go back to the country"... I was very upset with the Eldon Villas... [Eldon Villa is a hotel which I personally choose to take rest on first day, and it is not part of Lenchada Package]

Then we start our Trip, and Driver Mr. Jack was also very kind and helpful. He dont feel happy unless we are happy and enjoyed, such a nice and gentlemen.

As part of Lenchada Package, On first 2 days we stayed in Lenchada Camp - Very Nice and ecofriendly Camp. Due to geographical location the Wifi is not there and electricity is available in the Morning and Evening. However you required Electricity in the Morning and Night Only just to charge your gadgets, remaining time your busy with Game Drive and the room temperature is about 15-20, so you dont feel hot also. This Camp provide Good Food, and 24 Hrs Hot Water too...

First 2 Days we had a Game Drive in Masai Mara National Reserve (Ollolaimutia Gate), Yes we are very luck to see the Big 4 very close to our jeep (Lion, leopard, Cheetah and Elephant), also we find several other animal too like Giraf, Buffalo, Zeebra etc....

3rd Day we went to Masi Village, and Drive to Nakuru National Park, From Nakuru we are able to Find the Rhino and Lion with Cub... and Flemingo...

If you have any Plan to go to Masai Mara - You must go with Lenchada Safari, and make sure you got a Drive with Mr. Jack or Mr. Abdulla, it doesnt mean the other drivers are not good, this 2 are the driver which we personally experienced and highly recommended. They know each point where they can find the Big 5, and they are highly knowledge about the animal and plant, they can give you a detailed information about it.

Better dont choose your drive with Van, because the drivers will have limitation to take you to the off road and it is not comfort... Always choose your Safari with the Jeep....

Again... If you have any plan to Visit Masai Mara Park... Choose Lenchada Safari with Mr. Abdulla or Mr. Jack....

One of the absolute best you guides I have ever had the pleasure of booking with.
5/5

This tour was towards the end of our exploration in Kenya and it was the absolute best way to possibly end the trip. From being picked up on time, to the knowledge the operators had, it was one of the best experiences of our lifetime. We did a lot in a very short time because we were under time constraints but they were kind enough to cater to our schedule and help us with all of our needs.
