Excellent tour operator to deal with from start to finish! Collected us at our hotel on Nairobi and were so helpful with luggage and logistics of the 4 day safari we booked, (3 day Massai Mara and 1 day Lake Nakuru). So reasonably priced for what you get! Our guide was absolutely outstanding, made every effort to get us close to the big 5 in action and made sure everyone was happy and safe! He gave us great insights to how the animals lived and their individual profiles! Allowed us get the best views and pictures! Thank you Jocky Tours!!

Knows how to make 2 days seem like a week ~ in a good way!
Dexter was our guide for 2 days on the Maasi Mara, he knew better than us what we really needed for our two days and delivered. Very knowledgeable about the reserve, the animals, their names and the land. A good communicator who answered all of our questions, very friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend Dexter for you next safari guide!

I am a great travel regular and I can tell you that it is an incredible experience! Everything is perfect, the lodges, the places, the catering and especially all the people who work there. it's faultless! All communication from the moment we first spoke with Isaac was excellent. He was very kind and helped us plan our trip exactly how we wanted.
We landed in Nairobi, and Isaac greeted us with a big smile. Then we met our fantastic guide, Tony.
The trip was perfectly organized, and there were no unpleasant surprises. Everything was perfect.
Tony gave us a feeling as if it was the first time he saw the amazing animals and the beautiful landscapes and was just as excited as we were (needless to say, he has already done the trip hundreds of times)
Our guide was attentive to all our requests and made an outstanding impact on our experience.

I formed my relationship with Rob Morley of Tailormade Africa after initially contacting him about travelling to South Africa for the 2022 Comrades Marathon.
I mentioned to Rob that after running in the Comrades Marathon me & my wife would like to go on safari & we'd like to make it really special, like a 2nd honeymoon. It soon felt like Rob was my own personal travel agent but in such a friendly manner. Rob asked me what 'special' looked like for me & was able to tease out of me what I wanted more specifically. I explained that to us special meant somewhere exclusive where we felt looked after but in a relaxed environment. Rob understood we wanted to eat great food within picturesque surroundings. We were also keen to take in some game drives to search for some exciting wildlife without feeling like we were being herded around with large groups of people.
Rob has travelled extensively within South Africa, has great knowledge of & a great passion for the country & wanted us to experience this too. Due to this Rob was able to suggest a destination that matched our wish list & sent us pictures & details which enhanced the picture he had already painted for me.
Though I had a great idea of what was awaiting us I was still not prepared for the luxury provided, situated so unobtrusively within the fabulous scenery with great importance placed on being green & eco friendly. We stayed at Rhino Ridge Safari Lodge.
We were treated to an amazing spacious villa with outstanding far reaching views. Imagine standing in a spacious shower watching giraffes moving majestically in the distance with an open fire crackling metres away.
Meals were served in the restaurant within the main 'house' with the same views. The food was exquisite without being pretentious.
We were taken on game drives by friendly, attentive & knowledgeable people who clearly love their jobs.
All staff members were keen for us
to be happy & genuinely seemed pleased we had chosen their lodge.
I loved how Rob was able to take a rough idea of what I thought we wanted & make the actual experience better than the dream. Without wanting this to sound too sickly Rob was the perfect person to assist us.
Everything leading up to the holiday was dealt with just as we would have liked. Every detail was catered for. We made a few last minute changes which Rob was able to accommodate due to his relationships with his travel partners. Our itinerary was sent to us by email showing clearly every detail we needed for the whole trip.
Knowing how special this trip was for me & my wife Rob was able to speak to his contacts to let them know we were wanting to create a few private moments which became a reality without any trouble at all.
My communication with Rob was via telephone, WhatsApp & email. I had access to Rob & his team at all times. We did need their assistance when our outbound flights were delayed meaning we would miss our connecting internal flights in South Africa. They were on hand to ensure we were confident in knowing what plan B was. During the holiday we received timely WhatsApp messages confirming our upcoming transfer/travel arrangements giving us reassurance of our movements (as we made a few transfers to various destinations within South Africa).
After the holiday Rob followed up to ensure everything was just as we had planned & it absolutely was.
I would be more than happy to ask for Rob's assistance in planning another trip & its likely we will be doing just that for 2023.

An overall fantastic experience. This was my first safari and with a limited budget and only two days, this was EXACTLY what we were looking for. On the first day, the vehicle’s radiator blew, but luckily we were still in Nairobi and within an hour, they had switched the vehicle for another and we were on our way. The company even compensated us with an extra hour game drive for the inconvenience and time lost. The safari itself was incredible. We saw lions, elephants, buffalos, giraffes, warthogs, zebras, antelope and even a rhino (apparently a super rare thing). Andrew was professional and very caring. He handled all the logistics like pick-ups and drop-offs very well. He even helped us buy our bus ticket to Kampala on the trip for the day we returned to Nairobi. Although there were issues with the bus ticket, he saw to it that it was rectified as much as possible. The Lenchada budget tent camp was rustic but very charming. The beds in the tents were comfortable and we got a great nights sleep. I would highly recommend this experience and this tour guide to anyone looking to do a quick and affordable safari.

All the provided service was really of high quality, very helpful, service that we received exceeded request and expectations. For example, car transfer from airport was private instead of group transfer. We were positively surprised, very happy, comfortable, safe and very grateful. All possible instructions and advice was given beforehand the trip, thus we were well prepared. We cannot recommend it more.

Home To Africa excelled in every way by by fulfilling all my wishes and more.
From my first communication through Safari Bookings, Home To Africa was first to reply and with an ideal safari itinerary for the 13 days we had to spend in Uganda. Derrick was able to get the desired luxury level lodges even when we were told by others that they were not available. We wanted to meet up with friends for gorilla trekking and stay at their same lodge for 3 nights. Another travel company used by our friends quoted us $10,000 more for nearly the same lodge bookings and didn't respond for a couple weeks. Needless to say, we chose Home To Africa and were so glad we did. We arrived in Uganda on my birthday and were met by Kareem and his big smile. I was excited to see him for I had read of his wonderful reviews from other travelers. Our flight was 3 hours later than originally planned, but this was not a problem for the Home To Africa team; adjustments were made and instead of visiting the home office to meet the booking team, Hedmond called to wish me a Happy Birthday and a great trip. Very Nice! We loved our guide Kareem from the start. His knowledge of Uganda and its people opened our hearts to this jewel of Africa. Kareem made the long drives between the national parks enlightening as he described the crops grown and way of life of the villagers. His keen sense for finding animals was evidenced by spotting a leopard's kill in a tree and knowing the leopard would not be far away. He knows about all the birds inhabiting Uganda as well and would find them in his bird book to show us a close up picture and describe its characteristics. We didn't have much interest in birding until this time, but Kareem spurred our interest and by the end of our safari I was naming each bird we saw. Kareem was always the gentleman and a good photographer too helping to zoom in on a bird he saw and snapping its picture. The picture he took of us at Murchison Falls with the rainbow surrounding us was so artistic. Thanks for everything Kareem; we will not forget you and if we should have the chance to return to Uganda you can bet we will ask for you. We will recommend Home To Africa to all our friends.

Outstanding!
This trip exceeded my expectations!
Most tourists do the one day trip from Zanzibar, but this is rushed to try to see everything. By doing the 4 day trip I got the royal treatment and could spend time with the animals.
My guide Alfaso Abdallah was lovely, so knowledgeable, accommodating and thoughtful.
I even saw lions mating! Unbelievable!
