Outstanding service, Great tour!
I can't say enough about the great service and experience that the folks at Okoa provided. Amazing guide, and overall a fantastic experience. I don't write reviews very often, but this tour took me a long time to explore and research as I was looking for something for my mother who was 79 at the time of the tour and myself. We were lucky enough to be the only ones booked during this week, so we ended up with a private tour for just the two of us. Obviously that won't happen to most folks. I highly recommend Okoa and be sure to have Mika organize things for you.

The paradise on the earth
We went to Tanzania for our honeymoon. This country is magnificent, it is paradise on earth. Tanzanians are very welcoming and smiling. In October the air and water temperature is just perfect.

Unique
observing the wildlife of South Africa by game drives is a wonderful experience, and surpassed my expectations my trip was arranged by africanwelcomeSafaris who also arranged some activities in cape town based on our preferences everything from the food, people and wildlife were amazing, beside enjoying the southern hemisphere starry nights in the bush

Good
In general, the service provided by the agency was nice, except that the guide in the park wasn’t very friendly and the lunch was really bad (an awful hamburger).

Another incredible safari with Compass Odyssey!
This is my second safari booked with Darren “Crusty” & Kate Humphries of Compass Odyssey. Crusty has put together a team that brings a level of expertise, attention to detail, & knowledge that are unmatched. They meticulously plan out your personalized safari to ensure it’s exactly what YOU want and take care of all the details (attraction reservations, flights while in Africa, lodges/camps, etc.) so you can relax and enjoy your holiday. Before arrival, you are provided a VERY clear & concise dossier that lays out everything you need to know about your safari.
A bit about my safari. It started with a short stay in Zimbabwe with a day trip to Zambia where I “lived on the edge” at Devil’s Pool in Victoria Falls. If it’s not on your list… it should be. ;) Delicious dinners @ the Boma & The Lookout Cafe (The ostrich is fabulous!). Then it was off to Cape Town, where I had 3 of the most incredible days that included Table Mountain, Robben Island, Cape of Good Hope, Cape Penguins, and so much more. The next stop is the bush of Botswana, both in the Kalahari Desert & Okavango Delta. I was treated to lions, leopards, kudu, eland, zebra, elephants, and giraffes. I was lucky enough to witness the birth of a wildebeest and watch in awe as it took its first steps.
I would be remiss if I didn’t mention and thank my primary guides & hosts while on holiday. Alan/guide in Joburg; Mortimer, Ruth, & family/guides in Zimbabwe; Garth/guide, Utah, Ivan, & Sean/hosts - Tintagel Guest House in South Africa; Leana & Cornel/hosts - Thamalakane River Lodge in Botswana; bush guides, Happy, Cindy, Simon, Bonno, & Bathusi. They are some of the most knowledgeable and amazing people I have ever met. They ensured I was well-taken care of from the moment I landed in Joburg until I had to leave for home.
Thank you, Crusty, Kate, & Compass Odyssey for another magical safari!!

Outstanding in Every Way
Five stars isn’t enough—Countryside Tours is simply the best! We strongly recommend them to anyone considering a trip to Rwanda.
From our first email from Olivier, we knew we were in good hands, and the outstanding experience Countryside gave us in this wonderful country confirmed it. The team worked hard to make our experience seamless, including arranging the permits and PCR tests necessary for wildlife treks. We had no delays or hassles *anywhere,* thanks to their diligence. And we were so fortunate to have Shadady as our guide for much of our journey. He was proactive, organized, outgoing, and fun! Just one example of his many acts of kindness: Seeing us covered in mud after our gorilla trek, he called ahead to our lodge to arrange for our boots, rain pants, and gaiters to be cleaned. It was little details like this that we never expected, but so appreciated. It made us feel so welcome—and impressed! I cannot imagine a better introduction to Rwanda, or more caring people, than the team at Countryside Tours. Murakose to this wonderful group!

Super well organized and very reliable
Better than any visit to the zoo
I would book the 6-day safari again at any time. The Ü in the tent contributed to the fact that we could dive even deeper into this special nature. Our driver and guide was able to answer all our questions about the animals. He could even distinguish the animal voices well. He impressed us very much with his knowledge. His treatment of the animals was very respectful, which we also saw quite differently. Our rice group consisted of 4 people., the driver and a cook. We were completely surprised that we were served a 3-course menu made from fresh ingredients 3x a day. Including freshly baked bread and cakes. We never expected that.
