Geeman was knowledgable, friendly and very protective of his group. We felt very safe in his care.
We decided to do a 2-day safari with Jockey Tours. After receiving quotes from 3 companies, Jockey had the best cost-to-rating ratio.
Geeman was our guide. He was extremely, knowledgeable, friendly and kind. He also seemed to be very passionate about his profession as a tour guide.
On the tour, he ensured that we saw the big 5 animals of the reserve. Not only did we see the big 5, but we saw so many more. Geeman told us a little about every animal that we encountered. Not only was Geeman supportive and protective of his group, he also went out of his way to help another tour operator whose 4x4 got stuck in the mud.
My only point of criticism about the tour is how extremely bumpy the ride was. Of course, it is not fault of the driver, in fact Geeman was an excellent driver who smartly avoided a 5-hour delay due to an accident. However, the rough terrain should be emphasized when booking, just in case someone has a serious injury or condition (e.g., bad back or pregnancy) and would want to avoid the severely rocky terrain. My friend is still recovering from a pulled muscle in her shoulder.
Despite the rocky ride, if I could do it all over again I would absolutely request Geeman, and so should you.

Fantastic
I suggest you go to blue lotus it provides you with lots of food good cars and water you get to see lots of animals and the drivers stop when you want them too. Captain C ( Clarence the driver knows the animals of by heart so ask them what animal it is and they will tell you so go to blue lotus. You will be amazed with the service. By husayn 10year old

Outstanding Tour and Excellent Customer Service
Darren and Kate at Compass Odyssey put together the perfect combination of safari and other activities for my family on a very time constrained vacation. (One daughter is a teacher, so it all had to fit in the 2 weeks she had off from school) The safari's in three different location were all excellent, and all the lodgings were as described or better. I can't say enough positives about their communication and flexibility during the planning, and then their communication in the weeks leading up to our trip, and during the trip itself. All went according to plan. Now is a great time to visit southern Africa, given the strength of the US $, and Compass Odyssey should be your choice to work with to put together the perfect trip.

Phenomenal - highly recommend!!
From start to finish this tour was amazing.
As soon as I had booked the safari Max got in contact with me to confirm the booking, arrange the collection time & to answer any questions I had.
Our tour guide Omar was absolutely incredible!! I cannot recommend him enough. Not only is he a lovely person, he is a phenomenal guide. He could spot animals from ages away (without binoculars!!). Omar knew exactly how to track the animals down & he was so knowledgeable and answered any questions we had. He taught us so much and we really did have the best time- we are very grateful for Omar.
We went on two different safaris in different places after the one with Omar and they just really highlighted how incredible Omar was. The other guides we had on the other safaris were not half as knowledgable as Omar and couldn’t track the animals like he could.
I would highly recommend this safari & would highly recommend requesting Omar as your guide.

Professional and Affordable
I went up Mount Kenya with Oakland and they were very helpful throughout the process from beginning to end. The guide (Charles) was also very good in his attention to detail and provide a lot of background information and practical advice while on the trek. He set a perfect pace and allowed us to really enjoy our entire hike throughout. The entire trip as a resident of Kenya was very affordable and I would recommend

Our tour operator was fantastic and went above and beyond expectations.
Pendo, was amazing. We started planning our trip with her in August, and she made it stress free. She made all accommodations asked for to plan our dream trip, and had plenty of recommendations as this was our first trip to Africa. She was able to keep our itinerary with any changes up to date all the way to our arrival. We did a 6 day 5 night tour with two people. Pendo's communication before, during, and after our safari was excellent. Our safari guide Dismas was also great, and made sure we had everything we needed each day and always checked in on us through our whole experience. I would recommend this safari tour over and over again. They also pay great attention to detail as both have many years of experience in this industry. All accommodations where above what we thought they would be, and all planned excursions were also great I highly recommend the hot air balloon ride. Pendo, also response to question within a day even with a 9hr time difference from America.
