A true definition of value for money tour operator
Our road trip from Nairobi to Moshi was everything and more than expected. It lived up to the Super Eagle Travels' emphasis on culture, history, affordability, comfort and camaraderie. Exceptional guides attended to our interests and needs and were exceptional hosts. Very enjoyable were swimming in kikuletwa hot springs, the wonderful food quality and selection and the sites visited on each town. It was all one could hope for and a strong inducement to do another adventure very soon.

Very attentive and great accommodation!
Excellent safari experience! Superfast when replying to all my questions prior to arrival. Once there, I was accommodated to Tulia Hotel which was fine/ok. The booking proceedure went very smooth. Safari was great and our driver, Lewis was very friendly and informative. If we had any logistical questions the Suricata team was just one What’s App message away answering all our questions. Our Benjamin did really good food and every meal was a joy! Our mid-range lodging was way more than I expected! The different places were marvellous and had anything you’ve asked for and more! The safari ended with a debrief and they really wanted our opinions and how they can improve! That was very impressive and wise! I can highly recommend Suricata!

Well-organized, great selection of parks and attractions, superb guide.
TCS organized a 6-day trip through four major wildlife parks/reserves in northern Tanzania for our extended family. The trip exceeded my expectations in almost every way. We had detailed pre-trip instructions, all transfers and reservations were handled without a hitch, the accommodations were comfortable and well-provisioned and the wildlife and scenery were spectacular. Our guide, Leslie, could not have been better: engaging, knowledgeable, articulate (excellent English) and superb at tracking down animals to view and photograph.

Amazingly reliable and informative
Booked us into Amboseli Sopa for Christmas, a 3 Star Lodge that she highly recommended and we got value for money at Sopa.
The meals were on buffet, sumptuous and freshly made. The staff made our stay enjoyable and the lodge had organised so many activities to keep us the visitors entertained throughout our stay
I'd recommend Euray Escapades and Amboseli Sopa anyday.

Leslie, the FUN and accommodating guide
We have been thrilled and in awe more than once with Tanzania Choice Safaris. This was a second booking because the first one was such an astounding experience. It is so worth it to have a private safari designed especially for your group.
On this trip, our first view of the wildebeest crossing the Mara River was thrilling. However, our guide knew there would be a more awesome view if we hung in there for a while longer. Oh my! He was so right. This is what makes a private tour better than a larger group booked through a tour company. With Tanzania Choice Safaris, our timetable was much more flexible. The guides spare no effort to make the safari experience extraordinary. Our lodging was great, the food was great, the locals were welcoming, and our guide tireless in making every aspect of our trip the pinnacle of success.
If you are "on the fence" about doing an African safari, get off and get going. It will be your trip of a lifetime.

fabulous!
This company went above and beyond to ensure our trip with our two grandsons, ages 15 and 17 was superb! Can't praise enough.
From keeping my grandson with siliac safe in every camp we stayed, to having an antibiotic delivered to the bush for my husband who was notified of having a rare infection while we were on safari, to the invaluable help of rearranging our final flight to Nairobi and literally walking us through the covid test necessary to reenter the US and finally helping us get to our gate.
I only wish that this company could arrange vacations in other areas of the world!

Professional and extremely helpful
My husband and I were clueless about how/what to book for our Safari honeymoon. I found Gems of Africa online and Janine was so incredibly helpful and patient with us. She provided us with endless options for everything we wanted to do and prompt answers to all our questions. What we ended up booking was so incredible and beyond our expectations. We are so happy with how our trip turned out and when we go back to Africa, we will most definitely reach out to Janine again!

Susan’s knowledge about itinerary locations was excellent and helped us make better choices.
Planning our first self-driving tour of Namibia involved a considerable amount of back and forth with our travel advisor, over email and video chats. Susan provided us with a good itinerary that we were able to adjust to suite our desires and our travel dates. She provided timely answers to all of our questions. The vehicle from the local leasing agent was in excellent shape. All the equipment worked well and our mix of bed & breakfast and campsites were fantastic. I would certainly book through Discover Africa Safaris again and recommend them without reservation.

Most Amazing Trip!
I'm a "senior" female and traveled solo from the west coast of the US to Rwanda and Uganda. Home to Africa was with me every step of the way, from the excellent email communication for almost a year before my trip to my two knowledgeable, competent and smiling drivers. I felt safe everywhere I went. Lodges were charming, activities better than described, lots of little "extras" along the way I didn't expect, and the food delicious at every stop. I had checked out several other tour companies (and had to cancel three trips during covid). This was by far the most economical and in-depth trip I'd researched. They tailer-made my itinerary to suit all my requests. I saw gorillas twice (once in Rwanda for 1 hr. with a gorilla family, and a rather grueling 4-hr. Habituation Experience in Uganda...a trip of a lifetime, but not for the novice trekker as we bushwhacked through the jungle!). Those experiences are now seared on my brain. I saw chimps, golden monkeys, went to several national parks including Queen Elizabeth and Murchison Falls, did boat rides including a Nile River cruise (with colorful birds, hippos and crocs), walked up to once-extinct rhinos in Uganda (now there are 33!) at the beautiful Kiwa sanctuary, saw amazing wildlife (the big 5!), had several cultural experiences including the new Dian Fossey Museum, met locals and watched them craft coffee, banana beer, weaving, sewing, etc. My driver even made a special planned stop along the way to visit a special school I wanted to see. Kudos to Hedmond, Baptiste and Vianney for such a smooth experience! It's one I'll never forget!
