A kind, cautious and fun person to be around.
5/5

Going on tour with Royal private Safaris is the best travel experience I have had. Their trip advisor was such a positive person. I got to visit Maasai Mara, Naivasha and Amboseli. It was a one week trip with the company and I was impressed with how organised they were. We had our meal plans and accommodation already planned for every time we got to a new destination. Plans for how our days were being spend done prior hence we didn't get to experience any inconveniences, our trip advisor was so positive, informed and not to mention fun. It was quite an experience that left me already making plans for my next adventure...

Thanks to Ryan Ker of Wild Planet Safari, we saw an amazing variety of animals in just three days.
5/5

We wanted to visit Kruger National Park before leaving South Africa, but we had limited time available. Scrolling through Safari Bookings, we selected Wild Planet Safari, who offered a three day (two night) private safari with transportation from Johannesburg. What a lucky choice! Ryan Ker and his associate met us just outside the park entrance and started pointed out animals right after we passed the gate. We had been on safari before, in Kenya and Tanzania, but with a single guide for multiple guests. A private guide, especially one as knowledgeable as Ryan, enabled us to see far more. The experience was intense, for we awakened before dawn to see animals active at that hour and take maximum advantage of our limited time. The highlight of our trip came on the second morning when Ryan found for us two male lions, certainly brothers, patrolling the edge of their territory, but there were too many encounters with too many other animals to recount. Our down time was spent in our bungalow at the park's Letaba Camp, where Ryan and his associate cooked tasty meals for the four of us. The bungalow itself was comfortable with an en-suite bathroom and air conditioning (although we didn't need it). In short, we packed as much as possible into our three days, thanks to Ryan's expertise and the excellent management of his firm.

U can trust Frena & Fred: Highly Recommended
5/5

We had a cross-border tour covering both Rwanda and Uganda.
Day 1: The golden monkey trekking tour in Volcanoes NP, Rwanda.
Day 2: Gorilla Tracking in Bwindi NP, Uganda.
Some relaxation at Lake Bunyonyi. In between gorilla tracking and a long ride to Kibale Forest, it was a nice break.
Kibale Forest National Park and Bigodi swamp walk watching Chimpanzee crowned our trip to Rwanda & Uganda.
Of course, there is always room for improvement, and is impossible to please everyone. Our guide Appolo too was a friendly guy.
To summarize, we are very satisfied by the arrangements made by Fred and highly recommend him.

Excellent 36 hour adventure

Goodluck could not have done more to help us experience all there was to witness - he really made sure it was the most incredibly special short safari - there was a cheetah, a lion kill with cubs and a mourning elephant - honestly it was magical.

Kenya offers a diversity of culture, environments, and a snapshot of a country experiencing the impact of climate change at the same time tremendous growth and an expansion. In Nairobi, a city of more almost 5 million, there are tall buildings going up everywhere. We never realized the elevation of much of Kenya, at least where we traveled, is above 5,000 feet or that a typical day is 12 hours of sunlight and night. Traveling back and forth across while in Ol Pajeta Conservancy the equator was an unexpected treat.

Flying between the major parks is much quicker than the long drives, but doing so misses the rural areas, massive farm lands, and the towns at major intersections where locals sell almost everything along the roadways, including the freshest of fruit and vegetables. Going by car, you share the road with a variety of transportation from trucks, large buses, crowded vans that travel between somewhere and somewhere else, donkey carts and small motorcycles that carry people and their lives. We saw two men on a motorcycle and between them an auto transmission and one guy had a washer/dryer balanced behind him.

We stopped at Thompson Waterfall for a stunning view of the power of water in an area surrounded by arid landscape. The conservancies and reserves are different in topography and landscape but they overpower the visitor by how far one can see. On two nights while in Masai Mara we had thunderstorms and the lightening provided an momentary stunning view of the landscape.

The people we met; hotel employees, clerks in stores, local vendors along the roadways, the staff in the lodges were friendly, wanted to know where we traveled from and happy we were visiting Kenya.

We had an amazing trip, a wonderful time in Kenya thanks to Safaribookings, com and our selected tour company, Amazing Memories Safaris. We have over 2,700 hundred pictures to remind us of our visit.

A unique experience with the wild

It started with the beautiful weather sunshine during the day with a light breeze around 20 deg celcius.. cold in the night but it was ok in the tent and enjoyed the campfire in the common areas at the camp.
The masai mara safari in a 4x4 Land Cruiser and stay in a camp in this beautiful natural reserve is not to be missed..we stayed for 2 nights in Ashnil Mara camp; overall the service was nice, pleasant staff and food was good .. we really enjoyed the game drives and the whole experience in the wild with our tour guide Martin from Earthwings Tours and Safaris.
We didn’t have much time to explore Nairobi but we enjoyed our tree house stay in Ngong and Talisman restaurant is not to be missed for its decoration, ambiance, food, service; enjoyed a super delightful lunch and the art exhibition across the restaurant..
we definitely recommend the trip to Kenya!

Review about Lake Nakuru National Park by James Neils

Being able to "feed" an eagle. Guide whistled and tossed a fish in the lake which the eagle swooped down and grabbed. We have a movie of it. To walk among Zebras and a mother and baby giraffe up close was special.

We went there to see the hippos, which we did, but the other opportunities made this a special day.
