Beauftiful nature, but greedy guide
We had a three night tour from Laka Manyara over Ngorongoro Crater to the Tarangire park. The tour was organized perfectly — we could make some neat adaptions to our tour without any issues (concerning the airport transfer and the accommodations). If you ever plan to do this tour, we would highly recommend the Tarangire Simba Lodge, we had really magical moments there!
However, our guide had a negative impact on our experience there. We know that tipping is expected in these activities and never refused to do so. At the beginning of our tour the guide directly demanded a 120$ tip at the end of the trip. Talking in some way always came back to tips (and why to give even more). Multiple times we were asked how much we would be giving for his alleged wedding.
After the tour we decided to give a tip inside the recommended range by Lion Kind Adventures. Afterwards, the guide send angry text messages to us and even called me on my private phone number. To me, this is a huge no-go and made us feel quite uncomfortable.

Unique and unforgettable - Wakanda forever :-)
We did a lot of online research before booking our safari and finally let the good reviews and the likeable Instagram account of Serengeti Wakanda convince us - and it was the perfect decision!
Serengeti Wakanda is a small local operator with a great team and incredible value for money. We chose the 6-day camping safari as a group tour and it was absolutely perfect.
Guide Felix has an incredible feeling for the wilderness and was great at conveying this. He is very careful not to disturb the animals in their natural environment, which we found really great. He wowed us every day with his knowledge and ability to spot animals even from far far away. Thanks to him, we saw the Big 5 and numerous other animals!
Chef Dullah whipped up fantastic menus every day and baked fresh bread daily, even while camping! We regularly had soup, salad, main course and dessert - and it just always tasted super delicious.
We were also very lucky to have the wonderful photographer Aisha on our tour, who took amazing pictures, so that our memories of these unforgettable days were even captured on professional photos.
Bartho, with whom we already had contact via Whatsapp before our booking, was always super nice and also answered many questions in advance.
The camping safari with Serengeti Wakanda is worth more than every penny - and was even the cheapest of those we had requested! Food, drinks (even beer and wine), accommodations, game drives, entrance fees, etc. - it is simply ALL inclusive, only tip comes on top.
We can recommend Serengeti Wakanda 100%, there is absolutely nothing to complain about.

A great safari well fitted for us and with a great guide !
We were 3 French friends coming to Tanzania and we were hesitating between several safari companies just a few days before beginning our trip. The responsiveness of Jane and the program she proposed us made us choose Brillant Adventures and Safaris and we definitely don't regret it !!
We chose the 5 days program, including Tarangire Park, Manyara Lake, Serengeti Park and Ngorongoro Crater and it was perfect for us ! The night spent inside the Serengeti Park was very impressive ! During the 5 days, we saw a lot of different animals, and especially the big 5 !! Our guide, Pascal, was great ! He speaks English and French so it was really convenient for us. He was very nice and we could feel that he has been a safari guide for several years.
So thanks again to Jane and Pascal, it will be an experience we won't forget !!

SUPERB! OUTSTANDING!!
Warm-hearted!
The thing that struck me most about the safari experience with Go East Africa Safari (GEAS) is the personal touch of everyone. The staff (Dear Martha), the Guide cum Driver (the great Patrick), and the travel group, everyone was warm-hearted and welcoming. I didn't feel for a second that this is a business for them. Martha even accepted one of my personal requests. I bought a spare battery for my camera online and couriered it to her, she received it on my behalf and handed it over to me just in time!
Legendary Guide!
This is my third visit to Kenya and my second to Masai Mara. My earlier experiences are also good but this time it was great! The driver cum guide we had is a true legend. He knew exactly where to go and when to go for the best possible game drive experience. What amazed me is his idea for photography! He used to place his bus in a way that gave us the best possible views. He even understood the lights and their relation with the backgrounds. Most importantly, he is well known amongst locals. He is a very helpful and resourceful person. Dear Patrick, you are a true legend.
Value for Money
Like many, I was searching for a budget-friendly tour. And I knocked on 4/5 probable safari companies. Trust me, Martha offered me the lowest possible fare for a tour of 6 days. The experience I had, can't be weighed in bills! This is the best possible value-for-money safari experience anyone can have.

Perfect Safari organisation that I would definitely choose again!
We did the 4 day safari (in tented lodges) and it couldn't have gone better. The route was Tarangire - Serengeti - Ngorongoro and we booked this as a group safari where we shared the car with 3 other nice people. Suricata Safaris organized everything really well: pickup service, briefing the night before, super tasty food, great accommodations, partly in the middle of the wilderness, a good and comfortable vehicle and a good schedule. We were well taken care of the whole time and also always very warmly welcomed in the accommodations.
Our driver guide was Lewice and he is a super great person. He knows so much about all kinds of animals and always drove to the right spots to find them. We saw all the big 5, some of them really close. It was a breathtaking and great experience. I would definitely recommend Suricata Safaris to anyone and go with them again!

From the begging to the end it was perfect. A very good organisation. Ali the guy who explained all the planning at the hotel arrival , Moussa our cooker during the Safari and Mandela the driver …. They were just awesome. All the rest of the team also Fred and another driver for our Kilimanjaro trail)
Nothing missed … Then If you need anything before during or after the trip there are here for u ! I recommend Suricata Safari eyes closed !!!

Fast and accurate
It was the second time that we chose Five Stars Tour & Safari for our safari, after Namibia in 2021 it was Zimbabwe, Botswana and Zambia now. And it was again highly satisfying how professional Mandy Strauss personally handled our wishes and issues alike. 1. She is always super prompt in her replies - within 24 hrs you are getting 95% of her emails. 2. She is responding in detail to any little comment or question you might have. 3. She is still reasonable with her rates. Being a business woman myself I do appreciate agents who are proactive, fast and accurate. This is what you are longing for before and while traveling.
This time, too, we were celebrating honeymoon and the 30th birthday of our son - information she shared to our substantial benefit with the lodges and camps where we stayed - from special packages and services during the tour to fruits, cakes and champagne in nearly any place imaginable.
Yes, when we compare 2022 to 2021 Mandy being herself Namibian is even better in her home country where she apparently knows almost every bush and tour guide personally, let alone the hotels etc. with all their peculiarities. In Zimbabwe, Botswana and Zambia she is more dependent on information she is getting from local agencies.
Still: Five Stars Tours & Safaris is an excellent agency for all sort of luxury journeys for probably entire Southern Africa. Recommendation!

Great tour operators, everything went smoothly!
I did extensive research on many different Safari companies and I felt that I got the best price and value from Mama Savana. Dancing Zebra was very thorough, truly cares about its clients, and has a passion for Tanzania.
Our experience with Dancing Zebra was fabulous from start to finish! We booked our Tanzanian safari + Zanzibar beach honeymoon through them. The trip was awe inspiring and unforgettable! 10/10 would recommend booking your trip with them. This was our first time to Sub-Saharan Africa, so we were unsure what to expect and how to get around. They made sure we were taken care of every step of the way and there wasn't any guesswork (which was a huge relief). Communication was clear, timely, and thorough. It was reassuring that they booked us at places they had personal experience with and recommend based on their own travels.
Edson, the driver we were booked with, was amazing! We adore him and will ask for him when we visit again. He is a wealth of knowledge, helped us find a good spot for photos, and has a great eye for spotting animals and recognizing the different bird calls.
We opted for more comfortable luxury lodgings, and the value for the pricing was excellent. Each location was wonderful, with meals included and comfortable rooms.
If you want an amazing experience all around and want to work with someone that truly cares and has a wealth of first-hand experience, then do not hesitate to book with Dancing Zebra Safari!
