Our most memorable tour in Kenya
We were eight travel agents on a Kenyan safari enjoying one of the most incredible and exciting experiences of our careers. Seeing animals in the wild is something we think everyone should experience once in their lifetime. But the highlight for all of us was meeting Colin Murray and his One Horizon project. We had booked an excursion for Nairobi called Farm to Feast. We were picked up by Colin, who took us to pick up piglets (paid for by the cost of our excursion) to be delivered to grandmothers who are raising their grandchildren in difficult conditions. We met the ladies, visited their community garden, and went to one of their homes and helped them prepare a traditional feast for us. The food was fabulous, we danced and sang and fell in love with the ladies. One Horizon Africa was easy to work with and provided for us with a most memorable day. We have all recommended One Horizon Africa to our clients who visit Nairobi.

Amazing
We lived and worked in Kenya for some years. Therefore, it was no challenge for us to go and visit places along well-trodden paths. However, when it came to exploring East Africa beyond that, we relied on Adventure Expeditions. Thanks to the intimate knowledge of the region, the organization skills and the well-established co-operation network of Diana and Richard, we experienced the unexpected in Kenya, Uganda and on Zanzibar. We highly recommend their tailor- made travels, the good mix of adventure and comfort, nature and culture - not to forget the friendly and experienced drivers/ guides who are equally skilled in tracking the Big Five and providing insights into local cultures. We hope to return soon for yet another adventurous expedition!

It was amazing experience, never can imagine that Maasai life is like this.
Communication is friendly and professional at the same time, service was fully adjusted to the individual needs it was more than we expected. The safari tour is our life experience.
I continuously share information about this project among university students during my lectures in the field of business communication.
This is great example of the humanitarian project that includes local community needs. Students like the idea very much. We all can learn about patience, empathy and hard work from all of you. I wish you a lot of success!

The most inspirational moving experience ever
I booked 2 full day experiences in Kenya and both days far exceeded my expectations. My first day was just me and my guide and we visited the Grandmas Project.i was so inspired with One Horizon and all they do on their programs to make the participants self sufficient. I met with and shared lunch with the Grandmas and listened to their remarkable stories. I will never forget them.
My second day there were 3 of us plus our guide and we visited a Maasai family and once again sat with them and listened to their incredible stories. I have such admiration for these wonderful people. For me the fact that I had actually helped these families by my visit made me feel good. I cried both days and have so much admiration for them and the amazing work One Horizon do. This us a MUST DO for everyone heading to Nairobi.

You do not go to visit the Maasai, you go to be the Maasai for a day.
The communication before the trip was amazing. There was a clear and succinct communication about the time and location I was going to be picked up at, especially since it was my first time in Kenya. There was a handful of us on the tour which made the tour very intimate and nice. It was easier for everyone to get to know each other and chat. This also made it very easy for us to immerse ourselves with the family that we visited and we practically joined them in their daily activities and became part of the family. I learned a lot about the mass in that way and it succeeded my expectations of the tour. Tour guide was amazing! I loved him so much! he took pictures of us and that will always be in my heart.

We are still in remembrance of the great safari.
Ernest- owner Wild Gaze adventures, our host in Tanzania and also our guide in Tanzania was amazing all through from the time he picked us at the airport to our last goodbyes. He was exceptional in showing round his bountifully endowed country in flora and fauna. He taught us so much about wildlife conservation and habits of elephants, wildebeest, lions, cheetahs, baboons, warthogs, zebras, buffaloes, giraffes and different birds species that we saw. Ngorongoro was abslotely breathtaking from the view point and spectacular when we descended to the floor.
We loved the accommodations, they were perfect for us and our teenage boys.
We are still in remembrance of the great safari.

Their personnel were super nice and helpful and were always happy to see you. Every day was amazing.
This was probably the best safari like tour I’ve been on and would love to go again. I did not have super high expectations going into the trip but loved the trip and was chocked how great of a trip we had.

That was my favorite trip ever
Daniel was an incredible guide, and showed us an unbelievable week. My partner and I spent seven days on safari. We went to Masa Mara, Lake Nakuru, Amboselli and Tsavo East. We saw 4/5 of the big five and so many other animals. The camps were modest, but nice. They all had a very warm vibe. The Red Elephant Lodge was amazing. Daniel could not have been a better guide. When we return we will definitely use him as our guide again.
