Amazing safari!
Did a 5 day 4 night safari with gosheni starting from Arusha.
Overall had an amazing experience. Excellent car, great communication before the trip, nice accommodations and, also important, for us an decent price for what we got.
We were lucky with Barik as guide. He has over 10 years of experience with being a safari guide and that really shows. He knows the ways trough the park, knows the right spots to find the animals, and explained us so many things during the drives (from different ecosystems to Masai history and culture, to ofcourse loads of information about the animals we spot or didn’t spot). Perfect guide!
We also got to know Barik more during the dinners and lunches with made us understand the Tanzanian culture and lifestyle a little bit.
Saw the big 5 (and so many other animals and vegetation).
Overall I can say that the company and their guides are professional, trustworthy, the cars and lodges are excellent, and it’s nice to deal with a local company.

Couldn't have asked for more!
We couldn't have asked for more on this trip! We booked the safari for 4 days and 5 nights for our honeymoon, and for what is considered a short safari we saw as many animals as we would have seen on a longer trip, including the big 5 (lots of lions and elephants with their cubs, buffalo and even two leopards and a dozen rhino!). That wouldn't have been possible without our brilliant tour guide, Solomon (would highly recommend asking for him) both his service to us and knowledge of animals was so impressive.
We stayed on night in Arusha before visiting Tangerie NP > Southern Serengeti > Central Serengeti > Ngorongoro Crater. At each destination we stayed in beautiful Serena Lodges, views from each one were incredible; we loved the panoramic views of the N. Crater the most. We stayed in a different hotel each night and on arrival they made everything so special given we were on our honeymoon. Each day we had a 6am start as the liklihood of seeing animals at this time is greater so we didn't mind, but the length of the days can be completely tailored. Solomon had everything prepared for the trip each morning before we set off for the day; we had a packaged breakfast to eat on the journey to the next park, and a packed hot lunch which we ate in the park each day. What was most impressive is that in each park, Solomon knew exactly where he was going, even when going off the tracks. As well as naviagting the tracks, Solomon was quick to spot animals both far and near, and each time he went as close to the animals so we could get nice pictures, and all the while telling us so much information about each animal. Other guides we saw along the way seemed very uninterested/disengaged from their guests, so we felt very lucky to have Solomon.
The journey between the parks was 2-3 hours and we spent approx 5 hours in each park, which was more than enough to see the animals. It seemed we had both Solomon and luck on our side to see so many animals at this time of year, with the rainy season due in March, it is quite unlikely for us to see as many animals as we did. There were also much fewer tourists at this time, which meant the hotels were quite empty and we hardly bumped into more than 2 or 3 cars in a park. However we believe risking it to go in low season was worth it, as apparently during high season there are hundreds of cars in the parks especially in N. crater, which means it'll be harder to get as close to the animals.
The whole trip was impeccably organized and personalized to us honemooners by the lovely Lilian. Before the trip Lilian tailored the itenery based on our needs and booked a hotsprings for us in Arusha. She met us on the first day in Arusha to brief us on the trip, and she made everything run smoothly. The cost of the trip was also very resonable compared to other trips we saw of the same duration, and we were so impressed with the accommodation and the level of service provided by both Lilian and Solomon. They also both spoke english very well, so this made booking the trip, and learning about the animals easier. We'd love to come back with our future children (but would stay for longer so the days are more relaxed).
Thank you for everything!!

Best tour operator
We had a great time on our safari in Selous.
From the moment we booked, the communication was good. We were escorted smoothly from our hotel and back and felt safe and comfortable the entire journey. It is a long drive to the Selous, but well worth it! We saw a lot of animals and had the best guide, Hassan. Thank you so much!

RAS goes ABOVE & BEYOND for their guests- my trip was life changing and an absolute dream come true!
In late February, my boyfriend and I did a 5-day Kruger National Park tour with Red Africa Safari and it was the most spectacular trip that we have ever been on-- truly a dream come true!
Amelia planned the most incredible for trip for us, and tailored the trip to accommodate every add-on that we requested (such as several private transfers to and from the airport, a panoramic route tour, and an all day elephant excursion), at a very affordable price. Since we only had 5-days, it was really important to us that we were able to make the most of every minute, and Amelia arranged the trip so that it was action packed and we wasted no time at all.
Itinerary:
- Day 1: Picked up from Johannesburg airport, drove to Graskop so we were in a good location for our panoramic tour the next morning
- Day 2: Panoramic tour, sunset safari in Kruger
- Day 3: Guided bush walk in Kruger, afternoon drive with Jaco in Kruger, night-time safari
- Day 4: Quick Sunrise drive with Jaco in Kruger, all-day elephant excursion, relaxed by pool at our beautiful Hazyview lodge
- Day 5: Sunrise safari in Kruger, drive to Johannesburg airport
- In terms of communication, service, value for money, reliability, and the tour itself: Red Safari deserves 100/10 stars across the board :)
- In terms of safety, they took lots of precautions around COVID. We felt super safe!
- This tour was perfection! Jaco is the most fantastic guide EVER!
As for our tour and experience, Jaco literally went above and beyond to make this trip extraordinary for us. Immediately upon Jaco greeting us at the airport, I was given a birthday card from the Red Safari team and some small mementos (my bday was the day before our arrival). It was SOO sweet and thoughtful! Really made my birthday extra special :).
Additionally, Jaco not only provided us private airport transfers for us at the beginning and end of our trip (~5 hour drive each way!), but he gave us an amazing panoramic tour, ensured that we made it to all of our excursions, took us on several private game drives in Kruger during down time (in between excursions), made us some excellent meals while staying in Kruger, and provided us with so much knowledge about Kruger, South Africa, African animals/ecosystems --- literally such a wealth of information!! We learned SOOO much from him, which gave us an even deeper appreciation of Kruger and South Africa.
Jaco is the kindest and most knowledgable person. His passion for what he does is really inspiring. We truly couldn't have asked for a more remarkable guide. We are already saving for our next trip with Red Africa Safari & Jaco! Again, this trip gave me some of the best moments of my life! I'm so grateful to Red Safari, Jaco, and Amelia for making our time for special.
FUN FACTS:
- Got to see all of the Big 6 (lions, leopard, elephants, buffalo, rhino, hippo)! And LOTSSSS of other animals
- Got to see lots of rare animals (wild African painted dogs, white tailed mongoose & cobra fighting, lion cubs etc.)
- Got to experience a 'Big Foot' all day elephant excursion at Hazyview Elephant Sanctuary. This was a dream come true! Can't recommend this experience enough.
- Panoramic view was truly breath-taking! Definitely recommend this if you have time!!!

Unforgettable and unique memories and pictures with a perfectly organized Safari tour
10 years ago we had the privilege to get to know Meleck John, who was in 2012 our tour guide for the first trip to Tanzania. In March 2022 we went back to visit the incredible tanzanian wildlife and nature to the end of the rain season. We had chosen by purpose the company of Meleck John. We had pre-discussed the main focus points of our visit and then Meleck prepared the itinerary in detail and sent it back to us. Our trip was perfectly organized from picking us up at the airport through all the National Parks and Conservation Game drive areas, different lodges and tented camps, climbing Ol Doinyo Lengai, learning more about Massai culture, having pleasant discussions during the days until getting back to the airport after 16 days.
We are grateful for the experience we gained and all the beautiful pictures we took. We saw much more wildlife than we expected. We followed the migration on the southern Serengeti plains for a few days. The amount of Wildebeest, Zebras and different Antilopes are just amazing. Not only the big mamals like Elephants, Giraffes, Lions, Leopards, Hippos, Cheetahs, Hyaena, ... are beautiful to observe also all the smaller ones, like all the colorful birds, butterflys, lizards, mongoose, jackals, monkeys, flowers, trees ... just incredibly fitting together. The peaceful mood during the game drives and observations were very relaxing for us.
We will keep our trip in best memory and it was worth all the money we paid. We have experienced Parakuyo tours as reliable and professional tour provider and can recommend it without any restrictions. Meleck was our excellent tour guide for this trip and we truly enjoyed our journey.
We wish Parakuyo tours all the best for the future.

This was an AMAZING trip.
Every aspect of the trip that was planned by Go Touch Down was the best it could have possibly been. The places were stunning. The knowledge of our guides exceeded our expectations. The people who cared for us became our friends. They were genuinely looking out for our best interest and our best experience. The accommodations were first rate. When British Air shut down, "our" representatives at Go Touch Down swooped into action and rescued us. Even the animals cooperated to give us a stunning look at their everyday lives. We have already raved about this once in a lifetime trip and recommended Go Touch Down to friends.

A well organized trip that made for an amazing encounter with Gorillas
Rwanda Eco company was very responsive and the 1 day gorilla trekking was good value for money. They made everything really easy and were really helpful in ensuring we had a great day of trekking . Would definitely use them again.

Great service and Safary
Loved the tented camp, the Safary vehicle and the guide service by James, few times I wished he was more specific what was about to happen before a stop so we could have an idea but rather than that he was amazing looking for the animals and trying to make us feel happy and get the out goal in the Safary: To see the big 5
