Trip of a lifetime!
I would definitely recommend this safari to everyone. The vehicles were clean, comfortable and had AC! The guide was knowledgeable and fun to talk to throughout the trip. We stayed at the Twiga Safari Lodge. I was pleasantly surprised at the accommodations. It was glamping, but with plug ins to charge your devices and a fan to keep you cool. I was also surprised by the awesome grotto style shower. Seriously...falling asleep to the sounds of hippos talking and grazing outside! I can't explain how cool that was. The staff was friendly and very welcoming. There was no shortage of delicious food either. I went on a 2 day safari that covered both time on the Nile river and the grassland. We saw so many animals. I cannot put into words the feeling of being that close to the animals in their natural habitat. It was amazing, and I got the best pictures that I will cherish forever. We even got to have a delicious breakfast out in the bush.
I will most definitely return again.

He was able to find all Big 5 as well as a cheetah hunting a wildebeest (Whoa! What an alluring experience, Looked like in the "The land of Big Cats - Disney"), hundreds of giraffes, zebras, hippos and all kinds of antelopes, all in the same day! We had a great time in Ngorongoro, the serengeti and tarangire national parks. Bartho was very helpful in organizing, Andrew was a great guide and machete an excellent chef. I saw the big 5 and the scenery was stunning. Definitely would book again.

Great experience in Uganda with Silverback!
My wife and I have just returned from an amazing trip to Uganda with the Silverback team. Our trip started with some issues with the airline and we had to make an unplanned stopover in Rwanda (delaying the start of our tour). The Silverback team supported us with hotel reservations and recommendations in Rwanda and rearranged the tour so that we lost the least of our tour.
During the tour itself, we can say that the hotels, the food and the care and attention to detail we got from our guide (David K) were outstanding, always. We also had a great experience with the highlights of the tour (the chimpanzee and the gorilla trekkings, actually seeing many chimps and gorillas at close range and within a very organized and professional experience.
On the con side, I can only mention Uganda’s roads which, of course, are not Silverback’s fault! And my only complaint is only about their quality, because my wife and I felt safe and secure during our whole stay in Uganda.

Safari was great! However, we had some problems on the 3rd day and missed two planned game drives.
We booked a four-day safari in Masai Mara and Nakuru. The 3 out of 4 days went as planned. On the third day, however, we had problems. We planned a morning game drive in the Masai Mara, but our driver refused to take us there and instead took us to visit a Masai village (which we did not request and which we did not like, being an extremely touristy and rather sad activity ... and with a surcharge of $10 per person!). Also on that day a "game drive en route" was planned, which we did not have. So basically the day was wasted, with one hour at Masai Village and the rest of the day driving back to Nakuru. We were quite disappointed. The good thing is that we managed to contact Ann, who was very helpful and gave us back 3000 Ksh each (which was the equivalent to one entrance fee to the park in Masai Mara). Still, we missed something we had booked. So be careful, try to defend your rights with the driver, and in case contact the agency while you still have time! (from what we have heard is a very common thing that has happened to many).
Apart from this, we can overall say that it was an amazing experience and we really enjoyed it! The parks are beautiful, we saw so many animals. The lodge in the Masai Mara was also really nice, and we liked so much to be in nature for a couple of days. The people working there were also really friendly (also the food was great!). Ann was always helpful and stayed in contact with us before and during the safari, which was really much appreciated.

Safari 3 days February 2023
We left for 5 days with Chalema. Joël organized us 3 days of Safari in Taranguire, Serengeti and Ngorogoro parks. We also visited the village of Mto wa mbu on the last day.
We were accompanied during these few days by our guide Chaban who was attentive to our requests and desires. Chaban shared his many knowledge with us, he always made sure that we found the best point of view for our photos. It was a pleasure to spend this safari with him.
The places of accommodation were chosen with care (large beds, hearty and good meals, welcoming staff).
