Booking with Phuka is a refreshing experience, the package was tailor made to our budget and desires, absolutely loved the sentiment behind the booking as well(getting gifts and having a honeymoon experience at the place of lodging as per Phuka Travel’s instructions.

Professional operator, highly recommended!
5/5

We had an amazing private mid-range 8-day trip in Kenya for two with Seven by Far in mid-February. We were well taken care of throughout the trip. The team was very responsive through e-mail and whatsapp. We went to Amboseli, Lake Naivasha, Lake Nakuru and Masaai Mara. Our driver guide, Evans, speaks perfect English, is very experienced and professional. He understood our priorities and proposed adjustments to our schedules. He kept adding new birds and mammals to our seen list every day and made the list really long. Evans was also very conscious about good lighting and angle for photo-taking, we were well-positioned to see cheetahs, leopards, lions, black and white rhinos (just to name a few) walking towards us for really good close-ups. We saw a leopard hunting for warthogs (though it failed) and lioness feasting in Masaai Mara; five cheetahs feasting and 22 giraffes wandering in Amboseli; and a lot more! Watching baby zebras, baby elephants, baby warthogs, baby etc. was a plus to the trip. The jeep was well-maintained and cleaned everyday with bean bags provided for photography. We are thrilled by the extraordinary experience with the wildlife and happy for what we paid.

Fantastic Experience
5/5

I had asked DAS to put together a couple of days sightseeing for me out of Windhoek. Day 1, the dunes, the coast, and Swakopmund. Day 2, the rock carvings at Twyfelfontein, and the sixty-ton Hoba meteorite outside Grootfontein. Only possible by air in that short space of time: and the meteorite really is in the back of beyond. They came up trumps. Transfers, flights, guides, everything, including using a military airfield at G’fontein. No way I could have done it on my own without them. They also arranged for me to fly in the particular aircraft that I wanted. Nothing too much trouble. They even sorted it when coastal fog caused a diversion and temporary delay on the first day. It’s a bit invidious to single out individuals. But my thanks in particular to Carien who was my point of contact throughout. Also to Melissa and Berto my pilots, with both of whom I had interesting snd informative conversations. I can’t recommend them enough.

Amazing Trip of a Lifetime
5/5

My daughter and her husband planned a custom safari for us. We traveled with them, our older son and his girlfriend and my daughters in laws. Not only did 7 wonders plan a custom safari but we traveled in two separate groups arriving on different days and left from different airports on different days to allow for timely arrival for the safari departure. Evelyn and group from 7 Wonders Safari did an exemplary job. Additional hotel rooms and all the necessary travel were arranged. Our drivers in Kenya for Masai Mara (Stanley and Geoffrey) were phenomenal. We saw and learned so much in our first two days we didn't think it would or could get any better.

Then our tour with William and Jose began in Serengeti, Olduvai Gorge, Ngorongoro Crater, and Terengeti. Our drivers knew what to look for with animals etc which enabled us to witness a cheetah take down a gazelle and then her cubs within seconds take down a baby gazelle (I know it sound horrific however it was nature at it most basic). We saw mutliple leopards including one about 350 yards away while on foot for our guarded walking safari (yes pretty crazy) and several black rhinos at such a close distance, including a baby rhino. The accommodations during the safari were amazing. We can't say enough about Tortillis camps. You are truly in and part of nature and the experience is amazing. Thank you so much Evelyn and group. We have already recommended you to our friends and family. It was a trip of a lifetime.

"Truly an all-round experience!"
5/5

Our 9-day tour in Kenya with Mzingo wild adventures was a unique & memorable experience! We got to see amazing wildlife - multiple elephants, zebras, buffaloes, and giraffes up close in Tsavo west; lion encounters in Samburu…and so much more game that we didn't even expect.... Perfect start to end of our holiday making in Kenya!

Our tour guide/ driver was a fantastic guide, we cannot recommend him enough to anyone else travelling with Mzingo Wild Adventures company. He found the big five for us and managed to bring us up close to some very special wildlife experiences, i remember we were able to see lions making babies, which is a rare sighting. Apart from that, he was a very funny guide .He told us lots of interesting cultural insights about life in Kenya…and taught us a lot of Kiswahili, which is the national language spoken in Kenya. We enjoyed the free Kiswahili classes! If you happen to go to Kenya for Safari,Mzingo Wild Adventures is your right tour company.A free hint, ask for George as your tour guide.

We also give Ms. Anne a thumbs up for answering our 1001 questions to make this trip a success! She never disappointed us as she answered all our numerous questions in a timely manner. She also advised on the best camps and lodges.

All the lodges were very nice. We especially liked Voi Lodge in Tsavo East (pool, views, and serene) and Ashnil Lodge in Maasai Mara. The food and the location of this lodge were amazingly superb!

The planning of the tour worked seamlessly and smoothly. We recommend Mzingo Wild adventures any day, anytime.
They have very competitive rates.

Asante sana Mzingo-See, you on our next trip!!!

An extraordinary experience
5/5

This was our first safari and the 3 day experience will remain in our memories forever.

We were accompanied by Felix, an exceptional guide who was able to answer all our questions. He knew where to go to find the animals and we had a great time!
In the mornings, at noon and in the evenings we could count on our cook Idrisa who treated us with a multitude of dishes.
We are extremely grateful for the time spent in the wilderness, watching our favourite animals with such a professional team.

Once again, thank you for everything!

They provided me with different options to choose, tailor made for my interests. Timely communication provided me with goodie bags. The lodge stay was top notch, first class treatment from the beginning to the end. The operator followed up to ensure I was satisfied and listen to concerns that needed addressing. Thee best

Always caring
5/5

I opted for 5 days, 4 nights budget safari. An amazing experience.
From minute one we've had the best guide possible in Joseph, whose encyclopaedic knowledge was ensless. As was his patience. He can also spot any animal from far far away.
Special thanks to Godlisten as well.
Need also to mention the food. Really really good. Freshly cooked all the time, three meals a day, marvelous quality. The chefs done great!!
Two nights in tents in savannah highly recommended. You can hear a range of animals, and if you're lucky like me even hear a buffalo eating grass...
Can only recommend Colours Africa!! Far exceeded all my expectations.
