4 DAY TRIP TO DIANI
My friends and I had been craving a rendezvous to the Coastal region of Kenya. As chance would have it, we got to learn about African Adventure Specialists through a referral. We contacted them and after a few inquiries we were convinced that they were the guys for the job.
They kept in touch with us as we were enroute and we were delighted to find the driver waiting to pick us at the airport when we landed. The landcruiser they'd sent was sufficient for us. Our package covered accommodation and a tour guide, but boy did they exceed our expectations. The villa they handpicked for us was perfectly fitting for our needs. Very spacious crib with a pool at the front and to top that it was a beach front crib! Waking up every morning to beautiful chilling views from the bedroom balconies is definitely what we signed up for! The foods the guides recommended was worth every dime and so were the games they engaged us in.

An effortless adventure into the wild
From conception to completion David was a total professional. He was attentive throughout answering messages and emails quickly. When we arrived in country David was timely and organised. We spent the first four days in Naivasha. All of the excursions were well planned from our bike ride through Hells Gate, to an afternoon walk on crescent island or walking up Mt Longonot. I would throughly recommend all.
After our time in Naivasha we drove to the Mara. David completed the 5/6 hour drive with effortless competence. My young son was sat in the front with him and they chatted throughout. David has a young family himself meaning he knows how to talk to young children, keeping their interest and showing genuine interest. Upon arrival to the
Mara I was stuck by it’s beauty. We stuck to Davids itinerary completing two game drives a day, this allowed for lunch and a swim at the hotel each day. I would suggest this if you have a child with you, a full days game driving might prove difficult for a little one!
The Serena hotel was beautiful and the staff were lovely. We saw everything you could want to see. Rhinos, cheetah, lions, lion cubs, elephants, a number of leopards, servals, hyenas, antelope , birds…. Everything. David can answer questions and identify any animal.
David arranged for us to have the hippos breakfast, I can honestly say that was one of the most magical moments of my life. The atmosphere, food and views were spectacular. He also surprised us with sundowners on the last night whilst out in the Mara. We watched the sun set whilst drinking cold drinks and chatting. A magical experience.
I really cannot rate David enough. From start to finish he was excellent. A real gent and a total professional. Thank you David.

The arrangement was above and beyond my expectations.
My flight was delayed which meant I would have missed my pick up with the staff and I arrived late at night. But when I got in contact with Emmanuel, he was very helpful in making sure I got a driver for the night and he made sure I make it to the volunteer house that night.
When I arrived, I was immediately welcomed by Emmanuel, the Go Volunteer Africa, Country Coordinator of the Rwanda projects. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The work we did with the women was very important and educating. We have learned a lot during our stay, and would definitely love to come back to this project.
The arrangement was above and beyond my expectations. I felt very welcomed to the group, didn’t take long to get settled. There is a very good mix of professional work and having fun. The staff clearly care about the project, are passionate and were happy to help with any of our needs.
I felt like I really contributed to the local projects which is very fulfilling. We all felt like one big family after a week or so which not only made the program life fun and enjoyable but also made everyone look out for each other and push each other to do better in the projects. It was a nice mix of work and fun.
I had an amazing time and really enjoyed this project it was a culture shock when we first arrived however we were very well informed of what to do and where to go. I recommend future volunteers make sure that you really discuss with the local teams to understand what you are going to do, to get the best out of the program.

Zanzibar Heaven
AAS offered us a really nice package considering our timing was barely a week away from the peak season. Kudos to the team they have cause they are really engaging and make you feel like you have personal touch with them. We chose to visit Zanzibar with AAS as our tour operator of choice, best decision we ever made.
They took really good care of us we felt like a part of the family. Our package included activities such as snorkeling, swimming, medical evacuation insurance, bed and breakfast and a concierge.

8 DAY Zanzibar bliss
The beach never fails when it comes to unwinding and clearing your mind. Zanzibar's experience will forever linger in my mind and bring me joy for years to come. African Adventure Specialists played a great role in this: being picked at the airport and guided to my hotel really relieved us of the stress that is trying to find your own way. Loved the suggestion from the guides to try yoga and super grateful for the English speaking instructor, whole experience turned out to be very therapeutic!
The boys really enjoyed the game drives and the rich cultural heritage they git ti interact with.

3 DAY STAYCATION AT NAIVASHA
Naivasha is one of the most popular weekend getaway spots in Kenya where most people to blow off steam. African Adventure Specialists really understood the assignment when my work colleagues and I decided to go take a breather while enjoying some serene environmental features that Naivasha has to offer. They literally lifted the weight of planning off our shoulders, from picking us up at the agreed spot and on time, making sure we got to our accomodation which they had organized on our behalf and giving us a tour of the beautiful town that Naivasha is.
We got to visit the hells Gate National Park which indeed lives up to the hype and engaging in the activities the guides had suggested for us was surely the best way to blow steam. Would definitely recommend AAS.

A priceless experience!
Immediately upon getting picked up by Martin at our hotel, the experience was easy, comfortable and as Martin would say “Hakuna Matata”. We did the 3 day game drive to Masai Mara from Nairobi and it far exceeded my expectations and a lot of that was due to Martin himself. At all times he was attentive to detail, listened and made sure we were comfortable and well cared for. As other reviewers noted, Martin knows how to spot the animals (trust me, if you have never been on a Safari it is an adjustment for newbies to spot a lot of animals). He also went above and beyond to make sure we saw lions on a day when lions seemed to be in hiding for everyone; staying out 11 hours instead of the normal 8. You book Earthwings for the level of care, personalized consideration and knowledge Martin provides; at many times we witnessed Martin advising and pointing other guides to the correct locations for animal sightings. This is what you want in a guide, someone who makes sure they provide the utmost service and hospitality for their clients. Thank you Martin for answering all our questions, sharing meals with us and finding all the great petrol restroom breaks! You really made our trip!

Highly Recommended
We booked the “3-Days Wildlife and Kilimanjaro Safari” with Jackson and it was wonderful! We saw a lot of animals and the tour in general was really well planned. We were picked up on time and even though it was our first time in Africa, everything worked out as planned! I also compared several different agencies but the price-performance ratio here is unbeatable. Would definitely recommend a trip with Jackson, as he is a really friendly, helpful and trustworthy Guide and even showed us some nice spots in Arusha on the day we arrived :)

Exotic
the safari was very well organized with a great guide, very nice and funny, with a great cook who made us lots of good things including pancakes, lasagna, vegetables, good meals...the organization was perfect and excellent value for money, the only downside is that they told me to take only a sweater for the cold nights but it was 8° so you have to bring good fleeces plus a hat and gloves because their duvets are very thin..
