Reliable
We booked our safari thru safari bookings and were very happy with the outcome.
Our guide Goodluck was very knowledgable and patient . He ensured that we saw the big 5.
We also caught the “ wild beast” migration.
Mr Goodluck was very organized and the previous night would give us a briefing about what to expect the next day.
Overall we really enjoyed our safari trip and would love to come back and certainly refer some of our friends.
Thank you Goodluck for a lifetime worth of memories

We had an amazing safari around Naivasha lake, Nakuru park and Masai Mara park. Communication with Antony was perfect and our guide John was very friendly and helpful, trying to incorporate all our wishes in the schedule. This was once in the lifetime experience and we enjoyed every moment of it!

Experience of a lifetime
This was the experience of a lifetime with our amazing guide Gilbert. We booked a 4 day luxury safari and we could not be happier with the experience as a whole. Would 100% recommend to anyone thinking of doing a safari. Even prior to the safari, the communication with Pendo was great. We also did a day tour to the Chemka hot springs with our guide, Emmanuel, who was also excellent and made this day memorable.

Mount Kilimanjaro
The trip was great, and Monkey Travel was excellent. Our guide, Remmy, our assistant guides, Peter, and Bura were most helpful as they come. Out porters, Kevin, and Aman were also most helpful to our group. They provided every thing we asked for. I highly recommend Monkey Travel.

Excellent
We chose to do the Sunrise Safari at Pilanesberg National Park with Mmilo tours - the organisation was seamless from start to finish. Our guide Willem was excellent - he was incredibly knowledgeable and made sure our day was as special as it should be. The park itself was beautiful. In our six hour safari we saw rhinos, giraffes, zebras, hippos and elephants - sadly no big cats, but it gives us a reason to go back. We finished up with a lovely long lunch at Bakubung Bush Lodge which is included in the Sunrise Safari package, before heading back to Johannesburg. Would highly recommend Mmilo tours to anyone looking for a great Safari experience.

Amazing agency, could not have been better
We found Wakanda Tours & Safaris on tripadvisor where they were recommended because of their tent safaris. We contacted them directly and Bartho the owner tailored our private tour (Arusha, Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro) and adapted it to our travel itinary. We selected a 5 days Safari tour, but instead of a camping Safari we chose a loge and tented lodge safari. We decided to book with Wakanda because we liked their offer and what was included, we also liked that Bartho answered all our questions quickly and we wanted to book with a local agency. We never regretted our choice. The Safari was amazing and such an unforgettable time. We got great service upon arrival until we left for Sansibar. We were picked up at the airport and spent our first night in Arusha in a nice hotel. In the afternoon we visited Arusha. The next day we were picked up by our guide Elia . Elia is a very nice and funny guy. He is extremly knowledgable about animals and the nature. He was extremly attentive and tried to fulfill all our wishes. We saw everything we could wish for. Also we learned a lot about the people in Tanzania and the culture. Elia is also a very good driver, which helped us a lot when the street at the Ngorongoro carter was nearly blocked, muddy and slippery.
Wakanda encourages the logdges to cook fresh food for the lunch. We took them out in pots which Elia brought with him from Arusha. The food was always very good and due to the pots we did not have any waste.
We had unforgettable days with Elia.
In general, we were impressed about the very good service we experienced in every lodge and the good food. Also the cleanliness about of bathrooms in Tanzania in general.
At the end of the Safari Bartho took the time to meet us and ask us about our Safari experience.
Our experience could not have been better. One day we will go back to Tanzania and we will defenitely book again with Wakanda Tours & Safaris.

Amazing Experience with Lion King and Mwita!
We choose Lion King Adventures for a custom private 7 day / 6 night program for two adults and one teenager in February 2022 during the migration in the Ndutu area and we are so happy we did! We had an absolutely wonderful experience from start to finish.
We did a lot of research as to what company to use as there are many choices, but ultimately decided on Lion King because of the high positive review rate on every platform, their flexibility, quick communication and ability to adopt. They ended up delivering on each and every front!
Accommodations - We did a combination of mid-range and luxury stays based on the location and our research. We stayed at Marera Mountain View Lodge in Karatu our first night. The location was stunning, the rooms large and accommodating and the food was good. We then proceeded to Lake Masek Tented Camp which ended up being our favorite. It is overlooking a lake, truly secluded, great service and nice large tented camps. We proceeded to the Acacia Seronera Luxury Camp for 2 nights and this camp was small, in the middle of nowhere and beautiful. The food was excellent. The last night we stayed at the Rhino Lodge camp which was basic but in a great location on the crater rim.
Communications - From the first contact to the last one this was top notch. Responses came quickly and no questions went unanswered. We were provided with detailed information, flexible scheduling, ability to adjust as desired and always with a professional tone. We were also met at the beginning and end to ensure we were well looked after. Thank you to Pendo for her amazing flexibility and great communications.
Guide - Having the right guide, driver, friend with you will make or break your trip. We were lucky to have Mwita as ours! He was with us from hotel pick up to drop off at the end of the 7 days. He was knowledgable, kind, enthusiastic, eager to please, and flexible. He knew the areas like the back of his hand and navigated through water, mud, paths and rough patches. We knows how to handle the car in rural places, communicates regularly with his fellow drivers, and ensures we got the best spots for pictures. He is also a nice person and it was great to talk to him and learn about his background throughout the time we were together. We counted 97 'cats' along our park hopping and really enjoyed our time together. We would highly recommend asking specifically for him!
Thank you for a great time. From the hot lunches, welcome bottle of wine, constant attention to detail and friendly service we always felt looked after and have only positive feedback!
