Tanzania is always great and I was happy to reconnect with my old friend and host Amos this time going for the ultimate prize - Kilimanjaro via the Lemosho route.
Amos and his team did not disappoint, he arranged for perfect guides: Epa and Joseph who took the best care of us.
Getting to the summit of Kilimanjaro was much harder than we expected and I believe the crew of guides and porters made all the difference between success and failure.
Nothing can replace the presence of an experienced guide at your side, whose duty is to keep you going, safe, nourished, healthy and also much more than just a friend.
I know that the level of involvement during the planning phase and actual is huge because nothing took us by chance.

One of the best trips of my life
What is not to love, when you are on safari an amazing guide like Thomas, experiencing some of the best wildlife encounters and beautiful nature scenes and then retiring to great lodges nestled in African bush.
We had an amazing five days in Tanzania steered by Thomas our host. He spared nothing to ensure that we were comfortable while on the road and also got to see wild animals. We encountered lions, ostriches, jackals, warthogs, elephants, antelopes, giraffes, crocodiles, wildebeest and very many different birds. (We are birding enthusiasts and were very happy that Thomas is well informed on the various species and travels with a book on birds in his jeep)
I am happy to say that our trip only had pleasant surprises, like the bottle of wine, roses, chocolates and cake on my birthday!!!!

Kikitu is amazing! He is friendly, welcoming, kind and accommodating. He went over and above to make us feel special. I'm feel very sad that I have to leave Kenya because Kikitu made Kenya feel like home. What a special safari! I will remember it forever! Loved it!
The safari was the best thing I've ever done. On the first day alone, we saw the big 5! The accomodation that we had arranged was so cool, there were hippos right outside the river next to our accomodation. I cannot wait to go back! We spent four days on the safari, and even though we saw a lot we wish we could have stayed longer. Our guide, Josphat was amazing. We learnt a lot from him and want to thank him again for an amazing trip. Price was high; but competitive compared to others.

Best memories did a fantastic job from start to finish, they picked us up at 1 AM in the morning from Nairobi airport and dropped us back to the airport at the end of our trip in Mombasa. Our driver was Anthony and he did a phenomenal job, extremely knowledgeable of the terrain, areas and wildlife, When you spend up to 12 hours a day in a vehicle with someone you don’t know could be uncomfortable but Anthony has a great personality and we quickly felt very comfortable with him.
We did an eight day Safari, one day in Lake in Nakuru, 4 days In Masa Mara Then Amboseli followed by Tsavo East. Followed by four days at the Diani beach near Mombasa.
I will be honest with you, I was very skeptical of dealing with an small local business that has a PO Box for its address and requires payment by wire transfer. Everything above was setting off red flags that I could be being scammed, but it couldn’t be further from the truth, Isaac was fantastic dealing with the many changes I made to the itinerary in the months leading up To our arrival.
We are planning to use best memories safaris on our return in January 2024, you are not going to find a better value for your money anywhere else.

Amazing staff, safari - trip of a LIFETIME!
Antony and his team are nothing short of amazing. From the very beginning, communication was extremely smooth. I have been talking to more than five operators, but the discussions with Antony were always the best. He helped me understand where to stay, how to organize the day, and how to get the most out of our trip. We went back and forth quite a bit, and he has always been extemely patient. With respect to the safari ourself: our guide Josphat was absolutely amazing. On our drive to the park, he knew exactly were to stop to get some groceries and a sim card for us. During game drives, he told us so many interesting facts and was extremely hospitable. I took a lot of photos, and he had to stop the car so many times I thought I would drive him crazy, but he always asked where to park his car best for the best photos and angles. We saw all big five on the first day thanks to him! Thank you again for an amazing safari - we returned two weeks ago and I have already booked my next trip with Antony and Tazama!

The trip was fantastic. All the staff at the camp were lovely. The highlight had to be the mokoro excersions and the trip to Moremi. All the guides were incredibly knowledgeable.

Life time trip in the pâradise!
I contacted several tour operators but Epic Uganda Vacation came ôut to be my partner for my long waited trip to see gorillas in Uganda Specifically in Bwind N park since they already have another park with Gorillas. This is a trip that i have been dreaming about since my last exchanges with Jonathan who helped me to organise everything and he kept me informed about covid 19 guidelines in this beautiful country. I contacted Epic in early 2019 hoping to run this trip in 2020 but Coron virus disorganised all plans i had and this caused me to postpond the trip to 2022 .
Now this is how my trip went,when i arrived in Uganda at Entebbe international airport a guide was arleady waiting for me and drove me to the hotel where he briefed me through the tour program and also explained to me about all the border controls which i would not figre out by my self .James who was my chauffer not only that but he knew alot of different facts and good at spoting animals always happy,friendly and this made my trip great.
In Uganda we visted different beautful places including Murchson national park,Queen Elizabeth national park ,Kibale national park ,Ziwa rihno sanctuary and Bwindi national park for gorillas.the drives through these places was always beautiful and Uganda is the most beautiful country i have ever visted
I would ôfcourse recomend Epic Uganda to anyone looking to visiting Uganda.
