Reliable, professional, accessible, flexible.
5/5

We can only recommend Bamboo Ecotours as travel agency. Initial contact was very fast and easy. During the booking process we felt well guided by Edison who assured our trust in the payment procedure. The basic rate is still comfortable with own toilet/bathroom in every accommodation. They provided good and mostly organic food. We enjoyed, that we could adjust the travel route to our preferences (e.g. Pick-up in Kigali, drop-off in Kampala). We will never forget the Gorilla trekking and Chimp trekking! You should not miss an overnight stay at lake Bunyonyi.
A special recommendation goes to our driver, Jackson, on whom we could not only rely 100 % but who was also the source of cultural and historical insights on Uganda and who - through his clever and intelligent personality - made longer car trips a very pleasant experience. If you can, pick him!

Amazing Safari Experience
5/5

We did the shared safari tour. Meijo looked after us from start to finish with top quality service. The communication was excellent throughout and compared to the other your groups we met I would say they were a great value for your money.

We saw all of the animals we wanted to see and more. Big 5 and more. It was very special to be able to see a rhino and chetass and we couldn’t have done it without Pascal, our tour guide.
The food was great and fresh typical tanzanian cuisin prepared by chef Thomas.

The camping was phenomenal. The views were extraordinary and the campsites were clean and well maintained. We were worried we wouldn’t find the camping clean as there are mixed reviews but we loved every part of it.
Sleeping amonst wild beats is an experience we will never forget.

We even had an acommodation upgrade due to low season. Meijo provided a lodge at the Serengeti, free of charge.

All in all, It was a flawless experience and I couldn’t recommend them more highly.

Unforgettable trip with you Boaz!
5/5

I was looking for a tour company to Uganda for gorilla trekking, bird watching and wildlife safari and found this Dav Safaris is a tour and travel agency based in Uganda offering tours for mountain gorilla trekking bird watching, wildlife safaris, mountaineering and more. I tried their mountain gorilla trekking experience which included mountain gorilla tracking, boat cruise at Lake Mburo, bird watching and wildlife safari. We had 2 guides including Boaz and Arthur. They were super accommodating and friendly. I had a really wonderful experience and would highly recommend them to anyone.

Speke Uganda Holidays was wonderful in making my trip to stunning Uganda just perfect!
5/5

If anyone has thought about visiting Uganda, I say, Go, the first chance you have! It is a truly breathtaking Country, with unrivalled topographical beauty, lovely and warm culture and peoples, and magnificent wildlife and nature preserves and sustainable initiatives.
I took a 3-week trip to Africa last November and December, and Uganda was a last minute addition as the final leg of my larger trip. As such, I was only in the country for three days. My Trip was booked through an American travel company Timbuktu Travel, who employed Partner Tour Companies in each Country that I visited. Speke Uganda was my partner there. I cannot say enough about their excellent care of me.

My Primary guide, Africano, was really friendly, knowledgeable and took great care in making plans for me, based on my input of the things in which I'd expressed interest. He was really great for the entirety of my visit.

I did a life-changing Gorilla trek tracking the Rushegura Gorillas at the Blind Impenetrable National Park. The trackers, trek guides and trekking porter were all top! Excellent and really fun and helpful in capturing pictures and videos and sharing useful information. It was breathtaking.

I then did a cultural tour of the area, going around with another excellent guide, who showed me many of the specific groups working to educate travellers to Ugandan cultural and life, and work for the betterment of women and children, and all Ugandans. Again, spectacular.

My hotel was lovely and the staff there was great, and Africano checked in with me regularly across my trip to ensure I was happy and ok.

Tony called me personally one day to help me navigate some currency confusion I was having, and the team at Speke rectified everything for me graciously so that I could finish my trip with no stress. I'm really grateful for that part particularly as it really was a stressful moment, made better by their care.

On my final day, I had a very long Layover in Entebbe, and so, Speke made me a day reservation at yet another beautiful hotel, so that I could relax in peace and see a bit more of Uganda before leaving.

All in all, the only thing I can say is that I wish that I had had at least another week in the Country to explore all of the other things that I hadn't had time to see. Africano gave me a host of recommendations of different regions of Uganda so that I can plan for my next trip. I am already back, in my mind, and will absolutely contact Speke Uganda to help me with my plans! Thank you ever so much for your kind care of me!

Journey of an Adventure
5/5

Equipment 4/5
Professionalism 5/5
Food 5/5 (ask for Magic Mike)
Tour design 4/5 (good acclimatization)
Personal 5/5 (Michael inspiring as guide)

I got altitude sickness for 6 days during the tour and lay flat one night with diarrhea and vomiting.

The team with their experience and the good food have pampered me within a day.

The ascent evening 22:30 start was indescribable. I felt like giving up 10x, but Michael motivated me and the moment of reaching the top - indescribable.

Trip of a Lifetime Thanks to 7 Wonders
5/5

Prior to booking we had a rough idea of the parks we wanted to visit. Evelyn worked with us to create the perfect itinerary, giving suggestions and info that we would not have gotten elsewhere. She was very responsive and dealt with our many complications (we had a large group with differing travel itineraries).

Arriving in Africa, 7 Wonders took care of everything and made it very easy for us to get to our destination and begin our journey. Along with Evelyn, Rose helped with the portion of our trip in Kenya. We met our drivers day 1, they were extremely nice (Stanley and Geoff) and were just as excited to be there as we were. These drivers were super knowledgeable and navigated the park effortlessly to get us in the right spots at the right time to see the animals. We also had to make a border crossing to get to Tanzania and the drivers helped make that process much easier for us.

In Tanzania we had Jose and William as our drivers. Their expertise of the area and animals led to us seeing two cheetah takedowns, 3 leopards, 5 rhinos, and so much more. It was truly special.

We stayed at four different Lodges / Camps and they all were amazing in different ways. Our favorite was the Serengeti Tortilis camp, where life in the tents was very comfortable and the staff made us feel like family.

We already miss being back in Africa and we cannot recommend enough that people should use 7 Wonders for planning their safari vacation.

A History Lesson
5/5

After The Cradle Of Humankind Tour was cancelled because of the heavy rains at the cave,Patrick organized a tour of Pretoria. While I had visited the Union Bldgs. on a prior trip, this tour was the first time I had visited the Kruger House Museum and the Voortrekker Monument.Willem, our guide was a fountain of information and made the history of the settlers of south Africa come alive.Willem dropped us off at the airport for a flight to Capetown and was kind enough to help with our bags and lead us to the ticket counter,

Nice, knowledgable and fun, great people for a safari!
5/5

Going with a large group of people who nature journal we had a very accommodating trip with Hamadi and the guides Shaffi, Seif, Dixon, and Sam. Hamadi helped out with all the details, while the guides were informative, knowledgable, funny and patient. They did all of their great work of pointing out animals, insects, birds while safely driving the bumpy dusty roads of the Serengeti and all the other wonderful places we went! The accommodations were amazing, even in the bush there was hot showers, beds with mosquito nets and a beautiful dining room! the food was wonderful, especially all the fresh vegetables and fruit. The people of Tanzania are nice and fun! We went to an orphanage for two days and our guides and Hamadi were totally involved in getting the kids to join in the drawing of animals and learning about the nature around them. Very good people.
