Our Safari was just excellent.
5/5

My mother and me spent 5 days in the Tsavo west and east national park.
We were really lucky with Allen and our safari guide Obama.
He did not hesitated to share his knowledge about the wildlife and also told us many things about the local life.
He patiently guided us through the huge park. We felt really comfortable and happy on our journey together :)
The lodges were just amazing, everything was organized really well.
The only thing for what I would wish an improvement is the staff's behaviour in our last lodge (Ngulia lodge in the west park). The food was ok, compared to the other two lodges nothing special and the staff was not very kind.

But all in all we had an amazing time. Thank you Allen and especially thank you Obama for this unforgettable journey !

3 Day Short Exciting Tanzania Safari
5/5

We had an extraordinary experience with connect African Safaris. At first we were hesitant to take this trip due to weather forecasting that it will rain but Sheikha convinced us to do so. We planned for a short time and we just decided to go to Africa!
The day started well because Msago, our tour guide was very early to pick us from our hotel. We had a discussion at the hotel lounge and he was very keen to know what animals we wanted to see and our overall expectation. We had some good laughs and thorough discussion on different aspects of wildlife because John and I adore animals. The lodges where we stayed were fantastic and so was the food. Msago had dinner with us the first night and we really loved the conversations. We are super proud that we booked with Connect African Safaris and are happy to recommend other travels to the team at Connect – Sheikha, Msago, Omar, and Hashim

This company is a scam.
1/5

Based on doing an 8-day self-drive tour with this company and subsequent communication afterwards, I have come to the conclusion that this company is a scam.

1) My assumption was that they had made all bookings in advance when I paid my fees. This was not the case. They told me they had gotten the start date wrong despite me getting a confirmation of the itinerary with the correct dates, but my suspicion is that this was to cover up the fact they hadn't made any bookings. Instead of making all the bookings on the day this error was found, the location for accommodation changed nearly every day. In only one case had a booking been made and payment completed before our arrival out of 7 overnight stays.
2) The places where we actually ended up staying was consistently changed to a hotel or lodge at a lower price point than what was advertised on the itinerary we used for booking.
3) Twice we ended up having to pay for the stay ourselves (conveniently the 3 most expensive nights of the trip) and the company still hasn't reimbursed us despite repeated requests over the last month. The stress of never knowing if a booking had been made was a detraction from our trip. If we hadn't paid already, we would have set everything up on our own, but we were trying to get him to pay for accommodations whenever it was possible.

I have filed a complaint with the Namibia Tourism Board about Enrico's Tours and Safari World Tours, since they changed their name but are still the same operation.

All this said, you should absolutely go to Namibia because it's an incredible and magical place. But absolutely DO NOT book through Enrico's Tours or Safari World Tours.

Incredible Safari Experience With Best Day Safaris!
5/5

I just completed my 5 day northern Tanzania Safari today, and it was incredible!. I booked via Mohji Travel, who in turn booked me on local operator; Best Day Safaris. Both Mohji and Best Day were excellent! Mohji handled the booking and scheduling smoothly, plus met me at my hotel the day prior to setting out, to give me a 1-on-1 full briefing which didn't just include a review of the 5 day itinerary, but also a review of my packing/gear, and tips on what colours to avoid wearing, to avoid Zhetzy flies! (Note: avoid blues and blacks!). The actual safari itself was incredible. Though i was a single traveller, I joined a fun group of three others and had a great time! Best Day are seasoned operators and they properly know their stuff. Every detail, every meal, and every day was planned well. Our guide/driver, Sixxy, had years of experience in the Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater, Tangerie, and Lake Manyara. He knew where to spot the animals and what times of day/conditions you would most likely find them in. He was so good with his behavioural knowledge of lions that when we came upon a male and a female on the first day in the Serengeti, he knew to drive on the other road (where all the other operators/trucks were NOT going) because he knew we'd get a far closer and better view of the beautiful male lion, from that point. It completely made my day, to get so close! On day #3 we also got so close to a family oylf elephants that we could see deep into their eyes when they looked our way. Sixxy, and our chef Emmanuel provided for everything we needed, and Emmanuel's meals were inventive and filling, giving us enough energy for every day's animal spotting! We saw so many animals it was hard to believe - including lions rhinos elephants leopard baboons verver-monkeys ostriches hippos and too many more to name here. I would recommend Big Day Safaris and Mohji to anyone who wants an experienced, thorough, and great value Safari in Northern Tanzania.

Amazing introduction to East Africa!
5/5

We can only echo the very positive comments in the other reviews of The Safari Partners.

After informing Chris that we wanted to visit the mountain gorillas ( in Uganda ) and explore the Serengeti and Ngorongoro area, he put together a wonderful trip that fulfilled all our hopes and fitted our budget well. We spent nine days in the Serengeti, staying at three different camps which allowed us to explore the whole area in more depth. The wildlife and endless plains were spectacular!

The transfers were seamless and the accommodations and all the staff including guides, mostly provided by Asilia, were excellent. Spending three days with each knowledgeable guide enabled us to also learn more about African culture. The fact that Asilia also supports the local communities by different and numerous means was appreciated by us. On the last night of the trip, we were treated after dinner to an unexpected but thrilling Masai Warriors dance at the lovely Highlands Camp in Ngorongoro!

As we were flying from Vancouver, Chris suggested that we use KLM which he also booked. We decided to spend two nights in Amsterdam to help us with the jet lag which was a good decision. There is a lot to see and experience in Amsterdam even if it rains everyday…

We would not hesitate in recommending Safari Partners (and have already done so a few times ) for such a trip.

Thank you so much Chris and Jen!

The guide and driver that were provided for our trip were the best I have ever come across.
5/5

The communication between myself and Mukisa were excellent. Mukisa is extremely responsive and willing to alter itineraries according to the customers needs. The quality of service beginning with the office personnel right on thru to the guide and driver was superb. The trip far exceede d my expectations. The tour itinerary was personalized for my taste and the service level provided by the places we stayed exceeded my expectations. Food was wonderful. Lastly; the tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and friendly and willing to do absolutely anything to make our trip enjoyable. Likewise our driver was professional and friendly and knew the routes with added background knowledge.

Choosing Dume Africa was an one of the best decisions i have ever made. It made our trip together with my friends spectacular and we had an unforgettable experience in Samburu National reserve. With the experience that Henry has, he guided us and we saw almost all the animals the reserve. He's also super friendly thumbs up Dume Africa

Best Safari ever!
5/5

We had amazing two days with Shoes. He picked us up early in the morning and we spent two whole days with him. The first day was very hot (over 42 degrees) but he still managed to show us lots of animals.
It was incredible to see all the wild animals so close. It very interesting to listen to Shoes as he knows everything about the park and the animals. He was able to answer all the questions we had. He's really good in spotting all the animals. We were really happy to see all the different kinds of animals (also the small ones like birds, lizards, dassis,...).
We made breaks for breakfast and lunch and he always made sure to show us the best. Because of him we tried a local speciality called PAP and we loved it.
Also the booking was very easy and Johanna informed us about everything. Thanks to Shoes & Johanna for the great time we spent in Kruger National Park.

More than i thought it would be.
5/5

The safari was great. We saw tons of animals, including a lion eating a zebra, lots of giraffes and a family of elephants that crossed the road right behind us.The accommodations were better than we expected and the staff was all very nice and helpful. All in all, it was a great experience for a really good price.
