perfect organisation of my safari from the beginning to the end. Serious company which provides experienced and patient guides for exploring the wildlife of Kenya. Coomunication was always given, Steve as Manager was everytime available and gave all information in advance, payment was serious and confirmed. Staff was always on time and reliable. Great communication and organisational and great 5 day tour
Spent an amazing 5 day camping safari in Northern Tanzania. All my questions were answered super quickly before the start of the tour and someone came to the hotel for a briefing the day before and even when returning from the trip to check in if everything went smoothly.
Food we got was the best I ever had on any of these trips with great variety for each meal. Both our guide and cook were great, making sure we were enjoying our trip
Got to see a lot on the tour, the camps in the Serengeti and Ngorongoro were quite basic (public campsite) but are visited by animals during the night which is quite exciting

Excellent value for money!
I did the three day Serengeti-Ngorongoro group join safari. Everything went super smooth, Gasto was incredibly helpful with the arrangements. The food was excellent, the budget camps were definitely basic but clean and functioning, i even got my own tent as a solo traveller. I appreciated the possibility to charge my devices. I saw the big five (two rhinos and lots of lions!). A special thanks to the wonderful guide Dennis who drove me from Arusha to Moshi, i was very tired but yet he managed to make me laugh and gave me excellent insight into life in Tanzania.

Always there to make it happen
Carien, our contact person at Desert Air Africa Safaris, has an extremely high degree of service orientation and make things happen.
We decided to undertake a private Air Safari less than 2 weeks before arriving in Windhuk. Moreover, we were Namibia first timer and hence not yet with clear picture on what we wanted to see, hence our ideas on the itinerary was quite volatile while at the same time we wanted to stay in top lodges. Consequently it was extremely challenging to get all this organized within such a limited timeframe. Carien was exceptional in her reactivity, no matter when we send her an request or asked a question, she reacted in no time. She also was successful to organize a co-pilot/guide despite end of high season/high demand. The trip itself was a blast including Sossusvlei, Fish River Canyon, Swakopmund/Sandwich Harbour, Etosha, Chobe Natl Park and Victoria Falls. Selection of lodges/hotels was superb and very high standards. Also during the tour Carien was available basically 24x7 and helped to make all things happen that arose while on tour. Big thank you goes to Carien for this wonderful trip.

Very supportive in the pre-planning and responsive when on our trip.
Thanks to Sarah Morris and Brondwyn Nell at Ker and Downey who were very supportive and helpful in our protracted planning (due to COVID) of this trip. Whilst we were on the trip they were both so helpful in contacting the airline to find our lost luggage and then getting it sent onto our camp. It was great to know that they were there for us us all the way. The safari itself in Botswana and Zimbabwe was brilliant, Saguni and Kadizora Camps were great, in particular Kadizora where Matthew and his team made our stay so special, nothing was too much trouble and the food was great. Our guide OC was an inspiration, sharing his love and knowledge of the delta to us. We will never forget the time we spent out on our drives at the beginning and end of each day in that very special place that is the Okovango Delta. Victoria Falls was also spectacular and retiring back to the beautiful Ilala Lodge was just that was required after a long day. Thank you for an experience which we will never forget.
