It was the best weekend of my life, we saw the BIG 5 because our tour operator Omary. He was bringing us to the best places at the parcs to see the animals. You can ask him everything, he also told al lot about the animals, parcs and the krater. Good company to go with!

Excellent Gorilla Trek Experience
We flew into Kigali and Bamboo picked us up from the hotel and handled transport and paperwork to the Ugandan highlands and Bwindi. We loved our experience. The hike itself is gorgeous and the terrain is very different from anything in the US. The experience with the gorillas was totally unique and something I'll remember for the rest of my life. Our driver Herbert was very knowledgeable about the area and a lot of fun to talk to. He took great care of us and even returned to the hotel after dripping us off because we forgot something important in the car. I highly recommend him.

The Safari was AMAZING!!! We saw the big five and a lot of other animals. The campsite was beautiful with a beautiful view. (the pool was a little bit dirty, but it was ok). The dinner and lunch were very good, it was amazing!!! This weekend was unforgettable.

Truly amazing experience
we have just got back from such an amazing experience with this company!!!!from initial interaction with the team here it was seamless, the hotel to airport transfer was completely private along with the tour. The guide named 'Eric' was the best guide- nothing was a problem for him and made sure we got very close to the animals but always kept the animals feeling safe and not scared. his communication was outstanding,a really really nice man. the lodge which we stayed was also very comfortable and luxurious again all staff where very friendly.

Memories of South Africa
The game drives and bush walk of safari experience was excellent and would recommend it to anyone who has an interest. Finally we had seen the big5 of animals!
First I was so afraid of traveling in South Africa but after arrived there it was totally different from what I thought. A lots of fun and very enjoyed with the team.

Excellent service and communication
My family of four, 2 boys 12 and 14, recently booked a 2 day Tanzania Safari with Honcho DMC from the USA.
From the first contact the company was very responsive and professional. I even had a problem with my email settings and the company reached out to me on WhatsApp directly to make sure I was getting all the information I was supposed to. My main contact was Naheed and he usually responded within an hour of a question.
We booked a Tanzania Safari to Selous National Park. The trip was fly into Dar Es Salaam, drive to the park spend two days and fly out to Zanzibar. Honcho DMC handled all airport transfers, setting up lodging, Safari guides and the flight to Zanzibar from the park.
Honcho DMC did not have that many reviews so I felt like I may have been taking a little risk, using the company but I was wrong.
Every driver, guide and activity was excellent.
Naheed even sent some extra treats for my family along the way that were really a nice touch. I felt well cared for at all points. All of our drivers were very friendly and were in the expected places at the right time. Even at our 3 am arrival at Dar Es Salaam!
I would recommend Naheed at Honcho DMC for anyone looking to make the trip. I feel like Naheed is now a friend even though we never met face to face.
I would also say the whole trip was very fairly priced. Our accommodations were the Kinga Lodge, the staff there was great.
Oh and we saw all the animals you could ever want to see, great location!

Don’t look any further than Spirit of Kenya
I booked with Spirit of Kenya (SOK), as their reviews were exemplary and I wanted our safari to be an unforgettable experience. It soon became evident that I had done the right thing.
From my early contact with Tiago, I was helped through the whole planning process. Nothing seemed too much trouble and my questions were answered quickly.
We decided on the “Big Kenya” 9 day safari, in order to maximise our experience and were certainly glad we did.
I arranged a further 6 night stay in Mombasa afterwards and Tiago was able to assist with taxi transfers. We could have booked this through SOK too but I prefer to plan my holidays independently, if/when I can.
On the first morning of our safari we were met promptly at our hotel by our driver/guide Shuma. You could immediately tell that we had booked with the right company as he presented professional in safari attire and the Logo’d Toyota Landcruiser was certainly the perfect vehicle for what lay ahead.
We had a good start when we asked Shuma whether we could make a quick stop to grab some breakfast to go and find an ATM to withdraw some cash for tips etc. He was willing to do this. This willingness was a theme that continued throughout our safari.
We found the “Big Kenya” safari, that we had booked, to be perfect for our requirements. All the safari parks were different and gave us different experiences of landscapes, wildlife and accommodation.
Our first night in Tsavo West was at the Severin park lodge. This was to be an unforgettable one as we retired to the sounds of Hyenas and were captivated by Impala and Giraffes walking past our (Glamping) tent.
The food served at our accommodations varied between a la carte menus and buffets, all of which were of very good standard.
At Tsavo West we were fortunate to see a leopard at close quarters, who was feasting on a zebra carcass.
Amboseli was probably my favourite park due to the variety of wildlife, particularly in the marshes. Hippos, elephants, giraffes, zebra, buffalo, wildebeest etc grazing in perfect harmony.
Our boat trip in Lake Navaisha was another highlight, especially with the diversity of birds that we were able to see.
Finally, at the Masai Mara, we were fortunate to see a pride of lions that had just killed a buffalo and calf. Shuma was able to skilfully manoeuvre our vehicle into a position that maximised our view and photo opportunities.
All in all our SOK safari was an unforgettable experience that will stay with us forever.
