10/10 experience
5/5

It was an amazing experience!

Preparation of the Safari: The communication with Rajab - while we were still in Germany - before the Tour started was extremely professional and quick. He responds within minutes and always had an answer to our questions. The booking process was easy, we could choose between several options for the national parks we wanted to see. He even arranged a Sim Card for our arrival.

Arrival in Arusha: the evening we arrived in our hotel Rajab was already there. He gave us a detailled briefing for the Safari. He double checked the National Parks we wanted to visit and the accomodations that go with it.

The Safari: No words can describe that experience! Rajab was already waiting in the hotel lobby in the Morning. He introduced us to our guide David. There was not a single boring moment during our 4 days Safari. David knows everything about the Parks and animals! He gave us detailled information and fun facts about the animals. He is experienced and has a perfect sense for finding animals. Because of that there were several moments of us being alone within metres of wild animals without other safari cars around. He is very client orientated and makes sure to find the perfect angle for you to take pictures (he is a hobby photographer so he knows which angles are needed). We saw all of the big 5 (plus many many other animals of course)! He even found a leopard on a tree very close to us in Lake Manyara National Park - very rare and an unforgettable moment! David always stays near a sighting until you are finished enjoying the moment. On the way between parks and lodges he shares funny and interesting stories, making sure there is no dull moment.
We took the route: Tarangire - Ngorogoro - Serengeti - Lake Manyara. We can recommend each park, as they are all very different from each other.
David made sure that we take a break whenever we needed one and the Lunch at the picknick sites always constisted of several options (also veggie) which were all really good! Also David is a safe driver who is willing to adjust to the client.

Accomodation: we had a 4 Day Safari. The first night we stayed at Farm of Dreams Lodge in Karatu. It is unbeliebably beatiful! The service is perfect and there is a special welcome service. If you are lucky you might see a Group performing local dances and songs. The rooms are luxurious and the food is delicious!

The second night we stayed at Signature Serengeti. It is a tented camp in the heart of the Serengeti. The tents look more like houses than tents, due to them being huge. The room is spacious and the bathroom as well. There is hot water and electricity available. At night you can hear lions roar and hiyanas sing, which makes for a great concert and an unforgettable experience! The crew makes sure that wild animals don't enter the camp. The food was very tasty and the crew always makes sure that you are well! And dont worry: there is running water and private washrooms with water toilets :)

The third night we stayed at Farm of Dreams again.

After the Safari: David made sure we leave on time to catch our flight from JRO airport. We met with Rajab on the way there who followed up and made sure everything was to our satisfaction.

All in all it the Safari was an amazing experience! The price was more than fair for a private tour which includes the safari, accomodations and 3 meals per day. There is also a fridge in the car which is filled with water and soda which is also included in the price.
Rajab, David and the crews at the lodges are professional and provide the best service you can imagine. If you plan to visit Tanzania for a Safari make sure to go with Sopai! 10/10 experience and special thanks to Rajab and David!

Extrodinary African Adventure !
5/5

Nick and I had the privilege of spending August adventuring with John Cooper. We were overwhelmed with John's knowledge and passion for all things Africa !. The itinerary was outstanding and it was seamless travelling throughout South Africa , Zimbabwe and Botswana .Johns expertise and narrative on tour was very unique and memorable. Accommodation and food was fabulous . We highly recommend travelling with John in fact we wouldn't do it again unless it was with African Adventures Safaris Company.

Accommodating, prompt, and friendly service
5/5

We booked with Jennifer for a 8 day safari tour in Kenya. Communication via email was easy, prompt, and friendly. Jennifer was happy to help customise our experience, offering multiple accommodation options for each location. Apart from 1 booking issue at one of the hotels, everything went without a hitch. Our driver/guide George was friendly and accommodating, and we felt safe and taken care of the entire time. We had a wonderful time and cannot wait to return to Africa in the future!

Tanzanian owned with the finest guides.
5/5

My husband and I worked with Earthlife Expeditions to design a custom luxury 12-day safari in Kenya and Tanzania. The trip exceeded our expectations! We enjoyed wonderful hospitality at fabulous accommodations (including Ngorongoro Crater Lodge, Mpingo Ridge Lodge), saw more wildlife than we ever imagined and were wowed by the guides - especially Herman, our guide in Tanzania. By working with this Tanzanian owned company, we travelled in luxury for far less money than if we booked with the US based tour operators.

Amazing country for your next safari

This was my second visit to Tanzania, the first being in 2017. Would have been back sooner of not for Covid. I have mainly been to the north vising the parks of Mkomazi, Tarangire, Lake Manyara and of course the Serengeti. My main reason for travelling to Tanzania is to see the migration and it hasn't disappointed on either occasion. I am an animal lover and have been blown away by the diversity of the parks and sheer numbers of animals that can be observed. It is like living your own National Geographic documentary. I also must compliment the accommodations I have stayed in. They have all been clean, well-appointed and the staff extremely helpful and friendly. The only down-side is the load shedding with the electricity this trip in Arusha, but the hotel did have a generator which kicked in quickly. The quality and quantity of the food offered at the hotels and the campgrounds and lodges. Lastly but by no means least was the friendliness of the local people (including the local guides), which put me at ease and made the trips that much more pleasant.
