Incredible experience
Safari of a life time. Here for a short few days on business and booked the 3 day / 2 night safari to Masi Mara as a group add on. Absolutely painless process from booking, hotel pick up, safari, meals, accommodations, and back. Nothing less than amazing experience. First night we saw pretty much every animal including the elusive leopard. Sunset was breathtaking. Next day we started left early to get best view of sunrise before seeing more of the park and checked out great viewpoints of rivers and Serengeti. Visited the river crossing point for great migration and had great box lunch near the river. Again sunset. Final day we did a morning tour to finish off the amazing safari. Accommodations for me were the tent camp which was very cool experience. Rustic but very nice. All the meals were great. Our guide Dennis was the best host, always put us in the best position for photos and constantly was finding the wildlife. Very hospitable every step of the way. Would recommend him to anyone. I also got to hear about the other safaris and tours from people on the trip who did more days and other locations. They were also just as pleased as I was. I will come back for more days with the family and will use this Safari service and hopefully Dennis as well.

I used Kilian Travel to plan my 26th birthday for me. The most important aspects of this trip was for my friends and I to have a memorable experience. They didn’t disappoint!
From chatting to Vivian about the trip since May. She was very helpful even with planning a surprise for me with my friends. I asked her numerous questions and still she was patient in answering them.
She also asked the hotel we stayed at to surprise me with flowers in my room, which was very nice of her.
Sam our driver was also an amazing part of our experience. He is quite the expert on Mara, you can trust that he will get you to where the big five are. The hotel was also superb Sopa Mara Camp, their food good especially chicken and the birthday cake they made me. The receptionist at Jambo Mara Mara - Robinson was also amazing and very helpful.

The best safari guide one can wish for
We connected with Mussa following a glowing recommendation from our friends, and just completed a 7- day safari with him. We feel extremely fortunate to have chosen him as our guide. Mussa is incredibly knowledgeable, reliable, and charming. He is a great driver and navigator, and has an uncanny ability to see animals that are totally missed by by normal people like us. He clearly loves his work, and at times seemed just as excited as we were to glimpse a rare event such as lions getting ready for a hunt or cheetahs crawling in the tall grass towards their prey. I cannot recommend anyone more highly, and only two days later, I already miss his company and the adventures we had together.

Michelle from Explore and Travel Africa was amazing. She organised everything for us and the trip was absolutely seamless. We didn't have to think about anything as she organised it all. She was also very flexible to our needs.
Explore and Travel Africa provided all of the information we needed for the trip so it was easy. We didn't know much about South Africa or safaris so we didn't even know where to start and were a little bit nervous, but it was obvious from the first interaction that she had lots of experience and suggested the best accommodation and services based on what we were looking for and our budget. We had lots of questions and she was very helpful and responsive every time. We requested lots of quotes from other tour operators and hers was the best value for money. She also gave us an option for doing 2 nights in one place and 2 nights in another which other companies didn't suggest. We took this option and we are so glad we did!

Professionalism
I went on this three-days safari for USD 540 each person, and it was a great experience. The company organized it very well, and we had the best driver possible: Zachary Omondi. He did a great effort on making sure we didn't miss out any animal around. We also enjoyed talking to him. we had such interesting conversations along the way!

Very Professional
Alpha was helpful with all the bookings and itinaries. Quick response and useful information. We are so happy with our driver/ guide Timothy he was very knowledgeable about the destination. All together we did 12 days in uganda and most interesting part was the gorilla trekking in bwindi national park, the gorillas came so close to us and it was amazing. The second trekking was in volcano national park but we felt it was the same experience only that Rwanda gorilla permit was so expensive ($1500) Thank you every one..
