I was sceptical at first I must admit when we placed the booking , I perused social media pages etc but had to just decide to see what happens and it was nothing shot of amazing. Arthur went above and beyond all the time and nothing was a bother. He took everything within his stride and was always punctual and courteous. Dilo has the patience of a saint and I could never fault him. The whole experience as a whole was marvellous. We saw the Africa they never show you on TV and ASM made it all happen.
I didn’t know what to expect when communicating with Arthur but from the one that we landed in Victoria falls Arthur and his team where nothing but amazing. They welcomed us like family loved us and showed us the most amazing time even though we were demanding never on time for our itinerary and always gave them a hard time. Arthur you and your team are a dream come true we organised activities for young and old seamlessly and everyone had the time of their lives - thank you and amazing isn’t enough to show our gratitude but know that we will carry this for life and we will always remember the experience you brought to life for us ❤️❤️❤️

Great tour with Lush Africa
Highly recommend this company. They concentrate on a handfull of African countries including Rwanda, Uganda, Kenya, South Africa, Tanzania and a few more, so they are experts in these countries. I worked with Abbey in the US office to set up our tour of the South and West areas of Rwanda. Abbey was very responsive and flexible to requests. Our driver/guide was Cyprien. Since he is Rwandan, his knowledge of the country is excellent, as was his English. We also had Solomon, Lush Africa's Operations Director, with us on the tour. They showed us a great time on the tour including the Chimpanzee trek, Colobus Monkey trek, Canopy Bridge walk, Lake Kivu, etc. We did the Gorilla trek and Golden Monkey trek on a previous tour but would recommend Lush Africa for these tours also. The pricing was fair and transparent. My next tour to Africa will probably be South Africa, for which I will use Lush Africa based on my experience.

Amazing wildlife and perfect organisation
Travelling to Selous in Tanzania was an incredible trip to discover wildlife. Scenic views are very diverse and take you to a different world. On the organisation side, the trips are really smooth and qualitative (transportation, catering,...).
Guides are very helpful and ready to answer questions anytime.

After my inquiry via the website, Justine contacted me via WhatsApp. After providing my wishes for the tour, he organized a tailored package with a drive from Dar Es Salaam to Selous NP, a 3 day tour and a flight back to Zanzibar. Justine was really one step ahead, organizing every detail with the camp staff and the guides. He really knows the best people around and we always felt in good and competent hands. Before our departure to Zanzibar, Justine even helped us organize a rental car from a company that was again very trustworthy.

Compass Oddysey provides customized travel at group prices, and is responsive and experienced.
Since post Covid travel has resumed, the big travel companies are struggling to provide responsive service. That is not the case with the family owned Compass Oddysey. They replied to my every question, with timely and informative responses. The dossier for the trip they prepared for me (a solo traveler) was full of valuable and detailed information. We designed my weeklong trip through Namibia and it was a varied experience of safari, Atlantic coast, cities, and dessert. I truly loved the diversity of environment and wildlife. My Guide, Elvis, was experienced and knowledgeable. He knows his way around Namibia, it’s people, wildlife, and landscape.

Amazing, informative, friendly, first class service.
We used this tour company for a mission trip and for a Safari. They are excellent. We would rate them first class. They provided drop off service to each location, they provided rides to every restaurant and eating location, provided excellent wisdom on every city we visited and by far one of the best tour operators we have ever used. This safari was amazing and the education we got on all the animals and the recommendations with where to go was first class. I would recommend these guys to everyone.

Tanzania and its nature was great but we had some bad experience with tour guys
First of all, I loved Tanzania and everything I saw and I experienced during my trip. You can book any tours via here (I mean this website not th tour company) its really perfect. I had 4 days tour but I think 2 or 3 days would be really enough. Don’t waste your money and days for extra 1-2 day.
Our first day, our car broken and they gave us back up car. It was full of dust, we couldn’t even breathe. Also, with new car we had a new driver for that day. He driven car so fast (our speed was 3 times more then the others). Even our warning he just drive fast and it wasn’t safe. After the arriving camp site we waited more then 3 hours to eat and get into our tent. Every other groups ate their dinner and went to their tent and we just waited outside with nothing (no food, no tent, not even chair we just waited ). Anyway we asked where is our tents and where is our driver to every responsible person over there and they told us oh he will come in 30 mins every time. And after 3-4 hours they gave us tent which I should have my own tent but I shared with stranger. At midnight they told us they never talked with driver -they said they talked with him and he will come in 30 min severel times- and they told us to go to sleep. Also we didn’t have morning plan because we didn’t have driver. In the afternoon our driver came but we had same problems everyday. Our car broken 3 times, no body try to explain anything, we always went to campsite latest and started to tour every morning latest. It was really bad experience in that way.
PS: You can buy cheapest tour for same program because people in my group we all bought same tour from different operators. For the same tour we paid different amounts (there was a 250 dollars difference me and a guy). So with the over 4 stars operator you can choose cheaper one

Outstanding, very well organized safari experience
As we booked the safari over the internet/e-mail, we appreciated the professional organization. Lucy was very helpful and on top of things. Everything worked as promised.
Khalifa, our guide, made this safari a great experience for the whole family. We saw lots of animals (incl. big five) and visited a Masai village.
