We have booked several trips with Alex over the years and each one has been different, we say where we want to go and he gives us his suggestions, we put them together and a perfect itinerary is made.
Our last trip to South Africa ended at Highgrove House Country Hotel near White River and was the perfect place to spend the last few days, set in beautiful scenery, with spacious comfortable rooms, top quality food and hospitality, totally relaxing.
We have booked trips to South Africa, Botswana and Namibia with African Welcome and our best holiday memories are thanks to them!

I was in a group of 3 and went on a great tour with Standard Safaris to Queen Elizabeth National Park for safari, Bwindi National Park for gorilla trekking, and Bunyoni Lake. I was surprised by how many events they had prepared for our short 3-day trip. On our first day from Kampala to Queen Elizabeth, we went on a boat safari tour (which was wonderful seeing the safari animals nearby the lakes) and they even squeezed in an unplanned safari tour (where we saw some lions and other animals). Gorilla trekking was one of the highlights of our trip and our tour guide did a great job preparing us for our trek. Lastly, Lake Bunyoni was unexpectedly very beautiful and a part of Uganda that I did not know I had to visit but am so glad we did. Our tour guide during the bird tour at Lake Bunyoni was fantastic. We had booked a budget safari tour and Standard Safaris had the most competitive price. For many aspects of our trip, our tour guide and Coleb (owner of Standard Safaris, who joined us for the trip) went above and beyond to make sure we had the best experience. All the lodging was clean and the food provided was good.

Great safari!
I went to a 3 day safari to Masai Mara. It was really good. We saw many animals.
The guide Jeff was very experienced.
Roselyne from the firm was very helpful and flexible when making the arrengements for the trip.

Won’t finish the tour until the client is satisfied!
My girlfriend and I did a half day safari in the Nairobi National park and our driver/guide was the very friendly Danson Njuguna. We saw many animals and Danson was very knowledgeable and always able to answer our questions! He was also very patient and determined to make us happy, we had not seen a white rhino (which we really wanted to see) and Danson didn’t finish the tour until we found some. Before taking us back to the hotel, we asked him to show us a good restaurant where locals eat and we had delicious authentic Kenyan food! Best guide we could ask for and great tour.

Wandering Thru just as wonderful on our second trip
This was our second safari trip with Wandering Thru in just under 9 months. For us, our sunshine comes from being in the bush, and this time it was another privately guided trip with Tristan at Jaci’s Sabi House. From this peaceful oasis set above a waterhole, we made our way out each day filled with anticipation for what might be around the corner. The drives were filled with the sights, sounds, and scents of the wild, time spent with the big and the small, spiriting us away from life’s preoccupations. These moments were enhanced with well timed nuggets of information, and laughter and fun were never far away as stories were told and shared, both on the drives and in the time in between as we relaxed back at Jaci’s. There were elephants aplenty, lions, and as always, it is so richly rewarding to put in the effort to track leopards, and then to be rewarded with a special sighting of Langa, the leopardess, and her new beau all to ourselves. Once again, this trip brought a little sunshine into our lives, and we can’t wait to do it all again in the future!

It was an amazing! Very organized trip.
Vibrant Holiday Safaris organized this holiday very well. From the pickup at the airport, the driver was friendly explaining everything from the airport to the capital city including why there were so many people walking!
The vehicle was comfortable and the weather was really nice.
I was to visit a number of areas in the city tour and had five days in Murchison park.
The beauty is incredible. The local communities are so friendly.

A once in a lifetime experience
We had the best time with Jadore Safaris! They answered all of our emails with hundreds of questions and they were flexible with our needs! Koen and Katja picked us up at the airport and took us to our first destination with the Maasai tribe where we had the most wonderful time. Later on our guide Hamisi took us on a Safari for the next 4 days through the most beautiful parks and even though we thought we wouldn't see as much animals as in other seasons (because of the rainy season), we were surprised to see all of them! He was very kind to our 18 month-old daughter who is still asking for him at home, and he explained and answered to all of our questions about animals and Tanzania as well. We learned SO much! Now, we are counting the days to go back!

Great Value, Great Knowledge, Great People!
I was lucky enough to spend 4 days in Kisoro with Ivan and the team earlier in 2023 and have a fantastic time.
We'd just arrived from a month in Rwanda and had a month to spend in Uganda and didn't really have a very fixed plan. Luckily we met Ivan and he helped us massively to curate our trip for the next month and organise things like Gorilla permits, accommodation and tips for hikes and other locations we could goto in Uganda.
We ended up staying 4 days in Kisoro instead of just one night which gave us time to enjoy some of the local activities. Do not miss the local coffee experience (where you get to roast your own coffee) and if you're feeling fit, why not hike up one of the local volcanoes, which I did with Ivan when we hiked Mount Sabinyo.
Ivan and the team are simply awesome and will go out of their way to make sure you get the most out of your visit to Uganda. On top of this they are really reasonably priced compared to competitors, but you will lose any of the quality!!!

Amazing Safari experience with Isa!
We (4 of us) just returned from an 11 day safari in northern Botswana and Zimbabwe with Isa, who is an incredible guide and wildlife tracker. I cannot recommend the camping safari experience highly enough if you really want to be immersed in nature and see far more than you would with the lodge tourism. Being right in the park means you have many more hours of game and bird viewing and it really makes a big difference in terms of what you ultimately see. Hearing lions roar and impalas snorting, birds calling, etc. from your tent every night was just magical. Isa and his team really know what they are doing in terms of safe, comfortable camping in the bush---the food was wonderful and all cooked over a fire and eaten under a lovely dining tent. Inside the tents, the cots were very comfortable and each tent had a 'bathroom' out back complete with a pit toilet (easy and doesn't smell at all) and a shower so we always felt nice and clean at the end of every day. We really can't wait to return and do another tenting safari with Extremely Wild Safaris.

Our driver Evans was really friendly, helpful, suppotive in our journey. He introduced animals we saw in the safari and knew answer to every guestion.
He chased for that we could see as much animals as possible.
I am really satisfied and definately suggest this company to go to safari
