Halisi's professionalism, knowledge and genuine warm personality exceeded all our expectations.
Halisi was highly recommended by an associate. We started our communication via WhatsApp. And from the first day he sprung into planning action mode. His response times were quick, he gave great suggestions and alternatives.
When we arrived, we were welcomed by his associate in Dar es Salaam then later in the trip we meet Halisi in Zanzibar. Our stay was a combination of thoughtfully planned historical, adventurous, romantic, peaceful and over all a life changing experience.
If you are seeking a high level of professionalism, attentiveness, flexibility, when needed, and overwhelming presence of peace … I highly recommend Halisi.
We've referred him to several people and their experience has been similar. We can not wait to book with him again but considering other country, in which he will be able to offer tours.

Excellent experience
I should have gone to Tanzania almost one year ago, but I got Covid right before our trip. So this year was my fist time in Tanzania, but definitely not the last one. We decited to travel with Meru Slopes Toures since my boyfriend and his parents were extremly happy with them. Just like last year, we kindly requested to have the best tour guide named Douglas and amazing cook named Moshi. During our week-long trip, we visited Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro, and Serengeti. Douglas took us to places, that looked totally unaccessible due to heavy rains, but he managed every single road. And it was totally worth it, because all together we saw 95 liones, 3 leopards and 1 cheetah in just one week (keep in mind that this was during low season when the grass is quite high & we were more exited for big cats, even though seeing other animals was exiting as well). While Douglas provided us with new information and unbelivable sightseeing, Moshi prepared delicious fresh and warm food, so our bellys were always full. I think it is important to highlight the fact that we asked for two vegetarian meals, one of which had to be done according to a special diet and Moshi managed to make something for everone. We really took the roads less traveled and that allowed us to spot some of the predetors that were in hiding, and that other groupes did not have a chance to see. Douglas and Moshi were not just kind and warmhearted people, they were unbelivably helpfull whenever we asked for anything. They helped us set up our tents and took care of each and every problem that might have occured, so we really did have the best travelles possible.
After one week, we continued our way to see Kenya as well. While saying goodbye and after they left us at the Kenya border, we all cryed. If you want to be accompanied with people that really love nature and have great passion for animals, you should definitly pick Meru Slopes Toures and ask for Douglas and Moshi. Teust us, you will not be disappointed. I really hope you will love Tanzania just as much as I did, because natures provides amazing things, if you just care enough to give it a chance.

Wouldn’t do a Safari with anyone other than Lion King Adventures
Better than I ever could have imagined. Our tour guide was Good Luck Lucas. He was awesome. I know everybody says that but this is true. He delivered on us seeing all The Big Five. Ask for him!! Trust me. You will not be disappointed. I was sad to see our travel come to an end. There was 3 of us. It was a private tour so you don’t have to worry about anyone else spoiling your fun. The places we stayed were great. Unfortunately there was one place that we went to that wouldn’t let Good Luck eat with us. Why?? He is part of the family after all. We went end beginning of April and it was great. You got really up close to the animals. You can’t leave the truck but there is no need they are so close you can almost reach out and touch them. Just don’t though lol

Peter is down-to-earth, authentic, smart and thoughtful, and just overall a wonderful tour guide.
Peter got in touch minutes after I searched on safaribookings.com for a Uganda gorilla trekking experience. Our situation is a bit unique as we will have to leave from and come back to Kigali, Rwanda. We wanted to do gorilla trekking in Uganda because it's cheaper, but eventually we'd want to return to Rwanda. After knowing our special requirements, Peter offered a 5-day tour package that included gorilla trekking and safaris, with reasonable travel distances across two countries. He's also very responsive to my questions and requests for changes. It started out to be just two of us, but after I told some of my colleagues that had a similar travel schedule, it quickly expanded to be a 8-person group because everyone liked the package immediately.
A week before our trip, our return flight was canceled that we had to return one day sooner. I communicated this change to Peter and he was able to quickly adjust our itinerary to meet out new needs. In the end, we had amazing 5 days together with a group of 8 friends. We saw many gorillas, numerous elephants, giraffes, buffalos, rhinos, hippos, antelopes, and all kinds of African animals. Peter drove us around tirelessly and was always on time and quick to act when there's a problem or request.
We had great conversations too while on the road. He's very open to talk, and learn about his guests, although he can also be quiet and let his passengers have a meditative time when needed. He's very open to feedback and eager to improve his service, which to us had already been impeccable.
In sum, I had a wonderful time going on this African trip with Peter and big Apes. I would recommend them to anyone going to Uganda and Rwanda, wishing to have an authentic and memorable true African experience.

An etiquette and eloquent travel agent.
I've been looking for a travel agent who can handle my family and I while visiting but I couldn't find a genuine person but fortunately my friend suggested me about it and look what ever I wanted I got from them. Really genuine and most amazing people.

Just brilliant.
Too much fun from airport landing to masai mara to take off..greatest experience ..thanks to cyan

Tour operator was very knowledgeable about the animals on the Safarii & excellent customer service.
The Safari took place at Lake Manyara, our tour guide was very knowledgeable about the animals on the tour and personable. We were transported in a reliable vehicle and had lively conversation with outstanding customer service. We had a peronal cook, which had breakfast, lunch and dinner prepared uopn our departure and arrival back to camp, which was appreciated due to the exhauting days observing the animals.
We felt as though we had an authentic African tour experience and would highly recommend for the price and life long memory.

An opportunity of a lifetime provided by East African Jungle Safaris. Safe, secure and dependable.
Thank you to Ruth and the team. We had an excellent time with Gerald, the rushanga gorilla haven’s lodge and the bwindi impenetrable national park staff who accompanied us on the tracking experience.
The overnight stay at the lodge was incredible (we stayed at the Gorilla lodge). The scenery from the entrance of the lodge itself was mesmerising. And it was hard to believe the clouds were covering the entire mountain range in the morning, such a beautiful sight. All the staff were very friendly and we also had an opportunity to visit a Pygmy village in the evening.
After our induction at the national park, our guide and rangers took us through the jungle to see the gorillas. We didn’t walk for more than an hour before we were treated to a spectacular adult male silverback and a troops of adult and baby gorillas. The trackers made sure that everyone in our group had an opportunity to clearly see them and made space, moved branches and cut through foliage to make this an unforgettable experience.
We were so close that we could almost touch them. They did put on quite a show for us, being wild animals they showed intelligence and at times human behaviour not forgetting the hilarious acts of play fighting and posing
