A fantastic tour operator that you can trust to find you an amazing experience
We are from France and went to South Africa for10 days. We were looking for a 3 day safari tour not too far from Stellenbosch.
I found Gems of Africa through internet. We exchanged à few mails until they found the perfect proposition. They were very quick to answer my questions. It was not cheap. But what a once in a lifetime experience !
We stayed at Bottlierskop Lodge 3 days 2 nights. The rooms were absolutely great: lots of space, big comfortable bed, nice bathroom with bath and shower, very clean, well equiped, top wifi. The restaurant was very good (we bought full board). The menu had a great variety of food and drinks. The staff was very friendly.
But the best part were the game drives: 4 during our stay. we saw so many different animals : it was breathtaking. The guide was very instructive.
I sincerely recommend Gems of Africa

The value for money is great especially compared to flying. The ride was never late and the driver was amazing!

Shanjoy Tours provided an incredible experience for our safari trip. Even before arriving our guide was responsive to any questions, and even modified our tour schedule as requested. Our guide had so much knowledge about the wildlife and local cultures. He went above and beyond to ensure we were provided with great service. He booked us beautiful lodgings, all with great food and service. I wish we could have stayed longer. I would definitely recommend using Shanjoy for your safari trip.

Excellent in all facets
My partner & I just had a brilliant 3 & a half weeks in Southern Africa. Everything was excellent & I highly recommend Discover Africa. From the safaris to the cities to the wine region it was all great. All arrangements including hotels made on our behalf were fabulous! Sabi Sands Game Reserve, Victoria Falls, Okavango Delta, Cape Town & Frranschoek were all highlights & are definitely worth visiting.
I’d also like to note Discover Africa’s professional during the 3 years we dealt with them. Yes 3! Our trip was Covid delayed but throughout this time communications were constant & reassuring.

Excellent trip. We got to see all kinds of animals, including the big five. Our guide he was first class and knowledgeable. Food was superb. Everything worked out smoothly as planned.
