Exactly what I wanted from a trip in East Africa
We went for a 5 day trip in Uganda/Rwanda (we were 8 in the group).
We stayed 2 days in Uganda.
We went for Gorilla trekking and canoe on lake Bunyoni.
I highly recommend the Gorilla trekking.
The places we stayed at were beautiful and very clean.
The remaining of trip in Rwanda was very good as well. The Akagera game lodge is wonderful, and the Safaris are a must-do!
Peter and Eddy (our guides) were very nice and ran everything smoothly.
Although it takes time traveling between Uganda and Rwanda (I would say car travel is the minor negative point of the trip), the overall experience was fantastic.

Absolutely recommendable
Katsam Adventures has proven to be a reliable organisation in every respect. Even in the case of unexpected events, a solution was always found. Both Samuel and Richard took care of their guests at all times. This - and of course the gorillas themselves - made the trip a really enjoyable experience. I would recommend Katsam at any time.

Amazing trip with Suricata Safaris
We 1000% recommend Suricata Safaris. It is a very professional and accomodating agency and the whole team is very caring. We have seen the Big five and more thanks to the guide Rocky and his eagle eyes, who is a master of Tanzanian wildlife. Camping in the heart of the savannah and animals is absolutely amazing. The meals were delicious thanks to Moussa, the best cook in the world ! All the sides of the safari are perfectly handled by Mister T : he organized the delivery of our delayed luggages in the middle of the safari, he helped us to plan the next step of our trip in Tanzania... 1000 thanks to him ! In summary : we spent 5 wonderful days with the whole team, always in a good mood. We go back to France with our heads full of memories !

Henry was the kindest man and so knowledgeable about our safari
We had the best time with our group. Our tour guide, Henry, is the kindest man who really cared about making our experience memorable. His local knowledge was greatly appreciated when we traveled to restaurants, towns and villages. We had a group of five plus our tour guide. Having a small personable group made the experience so much better and we made friends of a lifetime. Highly recommend this group for your safari tour. Doing the panoramic route along with the safari did not disappoint and is a MYST see!! Trip of a lifetime!!! Thank you

From the moment I contacted Timothy and the Extra Miles Team to plan and prep our safari, this Team ( and I say team because it was a full team of 6 that personally met with us to introduce themselves in person on the first morning upon arriving to Kenya) was nothing but outstanding and exceeded everyone of my expectations. From the coordination and flexibility of arranging and custom detailing the entire itinerary to our liking until we were completely satisfied with everything we wanted to include, at the level of quality we were looking for, for the right price that we had budgeted, all the way up to reliably delivering on making this the most memorable and magical experience for us. We saw all the big 5 and then some all across our trip from Nairobi to Lake Nakuru , Naivasha, and all the way to Amboseli and Mt. Kilimanjaro, Fred took us on an outstanding safari trip everyday of the tour. We saw so many animals, wildlife, fauna, and beautiful scenery all across Kenya. The recommendations and support that the team provided to guide us with our choices of lodges and camps was top notch. Word to the wise, take Timothy and the team's advise on recommended places to book as you create your itinerary, they know the best places and are great value for the money!!! I have made friends for life with Melissa, Timothy, Fred and all of the team at Extra Miles and can not say enough great things about this company! They get it and always exceed expectations so don't be afraid to ask them about anything at all. They are always willing to accommodate and work with you on everything for your Safarai! So much so, that I have personally volunteered to be their ambassador in the USA and would highly recommend them to anyone! They are surely one of the best if not THE BEST! They really go out of their way and like their slogan/ motto says....they go THE EXTRA MILES!!!! Thank you Team, for making our trip most memorable again and we will surely go back time and time again to hire EXTRA MILES!!!

Magical taste of South Africa
Just returned from a wonderful safari in Kruger organised by Norman in Mmilo. It was our first trip to Africa and everything was so well organised and ran smoothly. We had 4 game drives where our guide Oupa (hope spelling is correct) with his eagle eyes guided us to see a wealth of wildlife and educated us a little about everything we were seeing. Spent a day exploring the Panorama Route, spectacular scenery and a great guide in Victor who was a joy to spend time with. The wildlife we saw was mesmerising, matched by the warmth and kindness of the people we met. I look forward to using Mmilo again as it won’t be my only trip to Africa.

Tanzania Choice Safaris - Outstanding family safari trip!
We had an AMAZING trip with Tanzania Choice Safaris.
Brenda made the whole trip-planning process super easy from beginning to end. I was overwhelmed with all the choices out there but she simplified everything and gave us options to choose from that were great for both kids and adults. She was patient with all our questions and managed to find lodges that fit all the different kinds of things we were looking for. Communication was very easy, she was very responsive to questions, and the itinerary was detailed and organized including the flights within the country to get us to our next destination. Once confirmed she sends you step-by-step instructions on how to get visas, packing tips, instructions on how to tip in the country, money you should bring, and health information. It's all information you can find online but it was great to have it all in one place and from a trusted source.
We were met at Kilimanjaro airport by our guide for nine days, Kakasii Kimaro, and he was fantastic from the moment he picked us up. His knowledge as a guide is tough to beat and we saw every animal we were hoping to see and many, many, many more. We appreciated his deep knowledge of the parks and that he didn't always stick to the places all the other jeeps were going. He was great with the kids and did a good job balancing all of our requests for things we wanted to see. We learned an incredible amount about the country and people and also about the animals we saw. He had a lot of good stories and fun facts to share and is very talented at driving through ginormous mud puddles. He was also very patient while being interviewed for a 5th-grade school project!
I can't recommend Tanzania Choice Safaris enough. They played a HUGE part in making this one of the best family trips we have had.
