Tanzania Choice Safaris - Outstanding family safari trip!
We had an AMAZING trip with Tanzania Choice Safaris.
Brenda made the whole trip-planning process super easy from beginning to end. I was overwhelmed with all the choices out there but she simplified everything and gave us options to choose from that were great for both kids and adults. She was patient with all our questions and managed to find lodges that fit all the different kinds of things we were looking for. Communication was very easy, she was very responsive to questions, and the itinerary was detailed and organized including the flights within the country to get us to our next destination. Once confirmed she sends you step-by-step instructions on how to get visas, packing tips, instructions on how to tip in the country, money you should bring, and health information. It's all information you can find online but it was great to have it all in one place and from a trusted source.
We were met at Kilimanjaro airport by our guide for nine days, Kakasii Kimaro, and he was fantastic from the moment he picked us up. His knowledge as a guide is tough to beat and we saw every animal we were hoping to see and many, many, many more. We appreciated his deep knowledge of the parks and that he didn't always stick to the places all the other jeeps were going. He was great with the kids and did a good job balancing all of our requests for things we wanted to see. We learned an incredible amount about the country and people and also about the animals we saw. He had a lot of good stories and fun facts to share and is very talented at driving through ginormous mud puddles. He was also very patient while being interviewed for a 5th-grade school project!
I can't recommend Tanzania Choice Safaris enough. They played a HUGE part in making this one of the best family trips we have had.

A Magical Experience
A couple of weeks ago I had the pleasure of traveling with Big Apes Africa and Peter, the owner, to Volcanoes National Park to see mountain gorillas. From start to finish I had a magical experience. It's no secret the gorilla hike is an unforgettable experience as most reviews claim. However, the help and attention provided by Peter truly made this experience outstanding. Since the start he proved his professionalism with a perfectly tailored quote and timely responses to all my queries. After paying for the experience he was always available for any other questions I might have coming up to the trip. Finally, when he picked me up for the two day gorilla safari he went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable, safe and had an amazing time.
As a female young solo traveler I deeply appreciate companies and people that make me feel safe and protected. Big Apes Africa and Peter were definitely the best choice I could have made for this unforgettable experience! Thank you!

Exceeded my expectations
Uganda exceeded my expectations. It was quite clean and organized and very very indeed very much green! And that pleased me much. Many nice places to go: Islands in Victoria and bunyoni lake among others. Of course traffic is a big problem, especially if you can not use a Boda Boda (motorcycle táxi)

Fantastic Safari Trip into the Heart of Africa!
Great trip, great views, perfect safari's into the national parks! Saw many animals in harmony with their natural surroundings! People were friendly, locals were welcoming, tour operator's lived up to expectations and we had a wonderful trip! Would suggest to anyone looking for a great experience in Africa to work with Off2Africa and Chloe!!

Not a good service.
I had bad experience with African Breeze safaris in Kenya. First. I paid part of the tour in cash in Nairobi, but they did not wanted to accept some USD bills issued before an specific year. Finally they accept it but only after they charged me an extra amount. Second. In part of the tour they put an extra person in the vehicle, 8 passengers, instead of 7 as in their brochure. It was very uncomfortable for several of us and we almost had a fight! Third. They changed two times my hotels during safaris, one of them of lower quality. In general not a good service.

Cannot be wrong with African Chitah
We were initially sceptical when working with a local African tour operator. African Chitah Limited demolished all our reservations with their good natured Mr Midian reaching us with enthusiasm and honesty.
He responded fast and timely and answered all our questions n allayed our concerns. A great itinerary was created for our group.
The safari drivers were excellent and they scanned the vast plains with hawk eyes. We got eye contacts with majestic lions , giant elephants and towering giraffes.
We felt so safe even when the cheetahs were jumping onto the safari 4x4 and hyenas cracking buffalo bones infront of us.
African Chitah company was a great and caring host. Our trip was made even more memorable with their meticulous arrangements n attention. Thank you.

Made Booking our Safari Experience a Breeze!
We travelled to South Africa in May 2023 and left booking a safari in very late. We reached out to a couple of different operators on Safari Bookings but ended up booking with The Kruger Safari Co as their level of professionalism was outstanding.
From enquiring on availability, receiving quotes, providing guidance on the best way to travel from Cape Town and booking everything in, Wayne was so great to work with. Very responsive, great with communication and all aspects of our trip (including transfers from various airports) was an absolute breeze.
Highly recommend booking with The Kruger Safari Co and will use them again when we come back to SA!
