Discover Africa and Megan in particular organized the most incredible holiday for us. They were knowledgeable efficient and arranged the most amazing accommodation for us. We flew to Windhoek where we collected our hired 4x4. We spent 1 night at the Kalahari Anib lodge, 2 nights at Klein AUS Vista Eagles Nest , 2 nights at Fish river lodge,1 night at Zannier hotel Sonop , 2 nights at little Kulala Sossusvlei and 2 nights at The Delight Swakopmund. We were very happy with the accommodation which varied from tastefully practical to super luxurious with beautiful views of the desert / canyon / landscape.
At each venue Megan gave us fantastic advice on what to do and see and booked it for us if needed.
We saw and experienced the most incredible things. We visited the quiver tree forest at Keetmanshoop and went to Kolmanskop the abandoned town outside Luderitz . We were super lucky to see the wild horses at Garub too. Some amazing highlights were the fish river canyon drive , the climb up big daddy sand dune and seeing deadvlei , the hot air balloon ride ( a magical must) , the 4x4 tour to sandwich Harbour at Walvis Bay.
The long drives through the desert are part of the journey and one can only marvel at the beauty of the desert with its changing scenery and vastness.
Discover Africa planned a magical holiday for us which we will never forget. Thank you.

Mara and lake Naivasha. Nelson tried his best to show us all of animals and to make photos from a best view!

It started with excellent communication and planning with Peter. He gave the best options/alternative. All we prescribed for was delivered as committed. Very smooth and easy planning.
Excellent choice of Facilities and value for money including tour Vehicle which was rigged with charging equipments, Distilled water, Extra Zoom Camera and Binoculars just incase you need.
Tour Guide Edward made the entire experience amazing. His reliability and vast knowledge of the entire Massai Mara eco system was very useful. He not only Could Track the large game but has good knowledge of the Plants/trees and birds too. He made sure we had the best views and photo sessions all this safely. The kids enjoyed this. He was Very professional and helpful on all the days we were with Edward.

Amazing experience!
I can’t count, how many times we could see lions in a very close range during our safari in Serengeti. Anthony knew exactly where to find them. He was our guide, organized our trip and without a doubt he did both of these tasks perfectly! We have seen the Big Five and lots of others animals, for example dozens of hippos, chilling in the water. Also, these four days of safari were a great lesson about the local flora and fauna.
I simply loved the place Anthony chose for us to stay, which is Pamoja Serengeti Luxury Camp. After our arrival, the manager ensured that the stuff wants us to “feel like home far from home”. And that really happened! The whole team, especially our concierge Jacob, was taking care of us perfectly. Our tent was very spacious, with a super comfortable bed. The food was delicious and prepared individually for us, bearing in mind that I’m vegan. I could stay in that place for a month!

Once in a lifetime safari experience!
We had our safari in Masai Mara in a perfect moment: during the Great Migration. Seeing thousands of wildebeest passing just next to us was a once in a lifetime experience. Although, during these four days, there were many other highlights, like watching how cheetahs hunt.
Experiencing that wouldn’t be possible without Chris, our great guide, who easily recognized animals in what for us was just a dot on the horizon. He not only has a big knowledge about Masai Mara, but also about all the animals which live there. Nevertheless, Chris was flexible, punctual, super friendly and drove the car without any discomfort to us (the roads are sometimes challenging).
Also, the accommodation was simply great. In Zebra Plains Mara Camp we were falling asleep listening to the sounds of nature and in Maria Serena Safari Lodge, which is perched on a hill, the view was simply breathtaking.
To sum up: the company went above and beyond to make sure we were having an amazing time. Everything was perfectly organized.

Scammers
Our experience was terrible. We booked spontaneous and asked if it would be ok to pay online. Peter agreed but as soon as we arrived his Partner said its not and so we spend the first day with looking for an ATM. After we couldnt find any it was ok again to pay online. In the middle of the Night Peters Gang woke us up to ask for the money again - it was not ok anymore..
The following trip was a nightmare. The Car broke (we had the oldest one), booked events were skipped and all things had to be paid in addition because the money we transferred did not reach in time (they seem to be broke). They said we will get the money back since we transferred money and paid everything by our own too. They dont reply anymore but we knew this when we left. Good for them that we just want to forget this nightmare instead of taking any legal actions.

Perfect operator
Our safari including masai mara, nakuro and naivasha done perfectly by this operator and their experienced tour guide and driver, Khalifa, who showed us big 5 and a lot of amazing wildelife objects. He had well knoeledge about nature and culture of kenya and explain interesting facts about masai people , wildelife and nature.

Provided memories for a lifetime!
We contacted three companies here on SafariBookings and choose Sunset due to price and their itinarary. We had really good communications with the company from the very beginning. Excellent English in every email and the possibility to transfer the deposit and final amount to a European bank (saving us a lot in exchange rates).
Our guide was punctual and knew a lot about the animals and parks. He seemed to know every guide, park ranger and employee at all of our stops, making us feel welcome and safe. He was also really good a finding the animals we wanted to see.
Our vehicle was old and did not seem as comfy as the others in the parks, however this was not really an issue for us - it was very authentic - but watch out for the hard brakes!! ;)
All in all, we had the adventure of a lifetime. Everything we hoped for - and more! And at a very reasonable price.
