Authentic, well planned, efficiently organised and warmly welcoming with amazing meals!
After many birding and wildlife safaris throughout Africa I recently spent 23 days with three friends on Ulinda Safari Trails 23 day Botswana Safari. This was, without doubt, the most exciting, comfortable, well planned and efficiently run safari and I cannot recommend Jane Bettenay and her team highly enough to those travellers who want to experience a real wildlife adventure visiting Botswana's great national parks. A special feature is Jane's specially designed four wheel drive Toyota Landcruisers with "pop tops" that allow passengers to keep warm in the morning/evening when it can be extremely cold in "open" vehicles and still have unobstructed views when game viewing/photographing. Anyone wanting a taste of the real Africa camping safari should definitely get in touch with Ulinda Safari Trails!!

Amazing
Having experience Bush Travellers Safaris, I strongly advise you to go on safari with these guys. The food was incredibly tasty thanks to barney great cooking. The game drives where fantastic and we never got bored. Sage knew a lot of animals and we where lucky to see most of the animals in the area. The camps are great and set up fabulous and the showers where a luxury. The whole experience of the Bush Travellers Safaris was absolutely wonderful especially the company of Sage, Toullah and Barney.
One of my favorite safari locations
I stayed at Chada Katavi for seven nights in August of last year. I have to say that Katavi offers one of the highest levels of bush vibe in Africa.
The wildlife viewing was simply outstanding. I've never seen bigger pods of hippos nor more crocodiles as well as massive herds of buffalo and topi. There were lots of elephants and they often came into camp. I saw lions and leopards.
I went fly camping for two nights and on one night drive. Fly camping was particularly enjoyable. My night drive was simply awesome. One can go for hours without seeing another person.

Incredible
Congratulations! You've decided to go on Safari where you will have the best trip of life - seriously. Now you have to decide what tour operator to go with. If you want some large commercial tourist shop to take you Worldwide Safaris is not for you. If you want a personalized adventure, with friendly, passionate and thoughtful guides/drivers then call Ernest! There are no guarantees on safari, but give yourself the best opportunity to see the highest quality wildlife by going with an operator that has true local knowledge and, despite seeing it all by now, still get excited by the simple joys of the bush like watching a giraffe drinking water, finding baby warthogs or watching a leopard nap in a tree.
Maybe it was luck, or maybe it was Worldwide Safaris, but we really saw it all: lion kill, river crossing, the big 5 (we had single day where we saw the entire big 5 in one day), big animals, little animals, birds, interesting plants, Masai village, etc... Whether you have a specific interest or your group has mixed interests you can relax and enjoy your vacation knowing that Worldwide Safaris will take care of you.
I will definitely call Ernest and Worldwide Safaris when I go back to experience more of what Africa and Tanzania have to offer.

What a super Memorable Safari with Nature Friendly Safaris
What a trip! My girlfriend and I had been on a number of safaris in the last few years, and this time we were looking for something a little different. We're both in our twenties, and we tend to avoid tour companies as we found they're normally aimed at older people, but we take a gamble with Nature Friendly Safaris and we're so happy we did! We went on the 'Masai Mara Honeymoon' and there was never a dull moment. Our guide went the extra mile to keep us entertained, and we were planning our return before the tour was over.

I had a great time!
I've seen "the big five", thanks to Steve our nice driver. Steve is really a humor guy. Our cook, Samwel is also a good guy and his service is acceptable. You cannot expect fancy foods in a safari trip I think. The only thing that I don't like is that sometimes we had to eat like vegetarians. I don't know if it's due to the tight of the balance for a cheaper safari.
The worst thing is the policy of the company. The price of your safari depends on how well you can bargain with the tour operator but not depends on the quality of the service and not depend fairly on how many people sharing the cars. Since I went alone, I had to join others. I had to pay 750 $ for 4 days of safari and others people in my group had to pay 750$ for 5 days. Shabani, the tour operator even wanted to charge me for 800$ if I didn't try to bargain. This is really a short-term benefit policy! One more thing even worse is that after a long trip of safari, we were brought to the company office and forced to give comments about the company. They didn't ask us if we want to go there to give comment or not! What kind of comment you will give in front of them? This is just ridiculous. I hope they'll read this comment and then improve their quality of service.
Overall, nothing is perfect. I had a great time in Tanzania. I will come back here in the future if I can afford.

It was an amazing experience. Andy is extremely knowledgeable, professional, and fun.
I had high hopes for my safari experience and Bubezi Safaris did not disappoint. A few friends and I went on safari guided by Andy, and we had an amazing time. Everything needed was provided and more. I would highly recommend Bubezi Safaris to anyone. Andy truly went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and enjoying ourselves. The safari was tailored to our likes and wants. He is extremely knowledgeable and has amazing experiences to share. Bubezi Safaris definitely went above and beyond our expectations. I would use their services again without question.

Good
The safari was good : we saw many animals and the driver took us very close to them. The food was very good.
But, the car was old and worn. The tent and the material to camp was also old and worn.
Richard told us that we had to go to 3 places and we went to 2 places. So don't believe him, he is good in marketing.
The driver has also to improve himself but sometimes he was excellent (we saw many different animals).

They're experts and it shows
We used ATI to organize a 12 days self drive tour in Namibia.
During the planning process, Corinna (our agent) was patient, respectful and provided many good suggestions based on my comments, questions and feedback.
When we met her in Namibia, she was equally thorough and gave us all the information we needed. There was a lot of useful details, such as a highlighted map, a local charged cell phone and insurance info.
All the places she recommended were excellent.
We had a stress free holiday with all the adventure we were looking for but without any bad surprise.
I would use them again and would not hesitate to recommend them

A well organised safari with special features, excellent lodges and a great guide / driver.
Matoke Tours in Uganda prepared an excellent safari package for our family. Highlights were the guided Chimp tracking, guided crater lake hike including tea plantations and village visit, a guided loin tracking tour off the beaten tracks with a Lion expert. On our game drives in Kibale, Queen Elisabeth NP, Ishasha and Bwindi we saw lots of lions, herds of elephants, an occasional leopard. Highlight of our tour was definitely the gorilla track in Bwindi, impenetrable forest, were we came eye to eye with a silverback and his family. What an amazing creatures! Further worth mentioning that we stayed at excellent safari lodges whereby Katara Lodge, Mutanda Lodge and Mihingo Lodge are worth mentioning for their good dinners and great accommodation facilities as well as their amazingly scenic locations. WMatoke provided a guide and driver Anatoli, who appeared knowledgeable about Uganda, wild life and local environment, but was above all a very pleasant chap with a great sense of humour. We laughed a lot with him and he comes well recommended for anyone who want to visit Uganda. What an amazing country and excellent safari experience.
