We went on a five-day safari and had excellent encounters with almost all animals that live in Kenya. Our contact in the office kept in touch and all special requests were accepted. Our driver did a great job and drove very well. He had contact to the other drivers so we got to see the best views. We was always punctual and polite and he also answered all kinds of questions.

Best African safari experience
We enjoyed watching almost all animals in wild. Amboseli was better than Masai Mara for us as we were able to watch many animals in quick succession.
Our guide Cyrus was very kind, he made us reach all destination on time.
The Lake Nakuru Lodge was the best place to stay.

Very good experience
The safari was very good and the staff of Uwanda Safari is amazing. If you are searching for a quality safari this is our choice. The plan activities whore according to the plan. Everything was on schedule, from the transfer to the food. The staff was always available and they did everything to feel good and welcoming. We stay in a brand new lodge, Selous Safari lodge, the facilities are very good and the staff are very nice. We managed to see the big 4 and the guide was amazing. The village walk was interressing and help us to understand the way of leaving of the people. In the boat safari was possible to see a lot of hippo and see them in their natural habitat. The location for the sunset is great, but we couldn't see because the sky was cloudy. The bush walk reveals some of the secrets of mother's nature with the help of Dr. Simba. The time of culture and relax is well balanced.

We did a 5-day safari covering Manyara, Serengeti, Ngorongoro, and Tarangire. These were the best 5 days of our lives!!
Right from the first communication, Fransisco (team lead) was very helpful in understanding our requirements and the expectations we had. He was very patient answering all our questions and came up with the itinerary best suited for us. Michael (our guide) and his land cruiser were an integral part of the trip, right from airport pickup, to local shopping in Arusha on an extra day after safari, till were back at the airport. The food and facilities were great throughout. The stay was a mix of lodges in Karatu and a tented camp in Serengeti. Fransisco also got us a good deal for the balloon safari which in my opinion is a must-do activity. We got the opportunity to watch the great migration and we did not miss sightings of any of the famous animals of the African grassland. We did catch a glimpse of the black rhino too!
As per my observation, what differentiates Lappet Faced Safaris from any other safari operator is the vast knowledge and experience they possess, not only about the flora and the fauna but also about their culture, heritage, and history. Our guide, Michael always made sure of the safety, never drove off-road to get too close to the animals, and understood the animal behavior well. With more people like him, I'm sure our future generations can also experience what we have!

Everything was well arranged. The car was as it should be for Africa, locations and food were good. It was a wonderful trip through Botswana, Zimbabwe and Zambia. Also during our trip we had instant reaction from Marijnke via WhatsApp if we needed assistance.

Trip of a lifetime
My friends and I (group of 4) went on a private safari with Mr Castro. We had an amazing time and Castro catered for all our needs and got us nice and close to the animals and achieved in seeing all of the Big 5. Highly recommend.
