Call James for attentive smart service. I will call him again for my next visit to Africa.
5/5

Toured with Twinkle Star during October 2023. Six days, three hotels, one driver/guide. Each hotel was very different as were the sites. Each day was very special. Accommodation ranged from very good to the nicest hotel ever. George knows the parks and the animals. He knows where they are and where they are going. (He is the Wayne Gretzky of tour guides.) James had great planning suggestions and was also open to questions and changes; very easy to work with. Pricing was good too! I would use Twinkle Star/James again and would ask for George as my guide.

Great trip
5/5

Patrick and Livingston did a great job. We really enjoyed the trip; the lodges were great. A substitute camp at Amboeseli was a little rustic but served our needs. The wildlife sightings were amazing.

Fredy Able- Made my trip to Africa the best trip I have ever had
5/5

Fredy showed himself to be an amazing person both on the trail and off. Around the camp at night Fredy was funny and highly interactive. On the trail he was inspirational. Fredy was one of the two guides who summited Kilimanjaro with me- it was a perfect acent and decent! I visited a few other attractions with Fredy, he was funny and good at explaining, I was very happy. When I come back again it is essential that he is on my team!

Great experience!
5/5

While solo traveling I went for a 6 days safari tour including Masai Mara, Nakuru Lake and Amboseli, handled via Super Eagles Travels and Tours, and the experience has been great! Communication during the booking process was handled effectively by Bildad, and the organization was very good with timely pick-up from the hotel in Nairobi. The experience itself has been awesome, we were 6 people overall and were able to see beautiful places and a lot of animals, all the big five and plenty more. Our driver Clinton has been super nice and friendly, and made sure we had a great experience.

A brilliant way to discover Africa
5/5

Matthew was an excellent communicator, without being pushy. His arrangements were detailed and precise. Our driver was excellent, happy to chat and answer questions but also happy just to let us marvel at the scenery and all transfers were on time and easy. Our stay at rhino ridge was wonderful, and a wonderful introduction to African animals.

Highly motivated tour guides that know everything about wild life.
5/5

We had a great time with Remnant Tours. Our guides, Isac and Hilary, planned a well diversified 7 day trip including all the must-sees in Uganda like Murichson Falls, Gorilla trekking in Bwindi and Queen Elizabeth National Park. For the mid-range package, acommodations varied between lodges and tented camps with adequate service. All in, we highly recommend going to Uganda and would always book again with Remnant Tours.

Day 1 - Was picked up from Arusha Airport by our tour guide Mr Moses along with African Polecat safari owner Mr James. Both of them were very cordial and made us comfortable. We were taken directly to Tarangire National Park where we saw Elephants, lions and different types of impala. We were given a packed lunch in the national park and continued our Games drive where we were able to see a few more animals and Birds. We were taken to an accommodation in MtoWaMbu and served dinner.
Day 2 - we had our morning breakfast and started to Serengeti National Park, We were accompanied by our chef Mr. Dennis, Most of day 2 was spent reaching Serengeti and we saw multiple animals on the way such as Lion, Wilderbeast, Zebra and impala. We stopped on the way near Ngorongoro entrance and had our packed lunch. We continued to Serengeti for our games drive and tried spotting as many animals as possible before reaching to Pimbi public campsite for our Night stay which was thrilling as we could hear the Lion roar close to our campsite and also various other Animal calls kept us awake throughout the Night (The Night sky was also mesmerising with a number of stars visible)
Day 3 – We started early to try and catch the sunrise in Serengeti which was great. Our guide made an exceptional effort in driving us around Serengeti where we were able to spot a Leopard up close and had the chance to see 3 cheetah trying to search for an animal to hunt, We also saw Hippo, Elephants, Widerbeast, Zebra and Giraffe. We went back to our campsite and had our brunch and left Serengeti for our next campsite for the night which was Simba Campsite. Simba campsite was picturesque. We had our dinner which was prepared by Chef Dennis to end our day.
Day 4 – We started day 4 early again with a wonderful breakfast and drove to Ngorongoro Crater where we spent the next half day trying to spot various animals. We saw a number of animals such as Lion, Elephant, Pumba, Wild Buffalo, Hippo, Hyena and Flamingos (Missed to name a few other animals) We had our packed lunch near a small lake inside the crater along with stoke and other beautiful birds for company. Post lunch we were driven to Arusha Snake Park which the kids enjoyed a lot. Night stay was arranged in Karibu Heritage House which was really good.
Day 5 – We again started early and were driven to a Hot Spring close to Kilimanjaro airport where we spent around an hour taking some photos, The Hot spring is a must-visit place if you can swim as it’s a very beautiful place. We were dropped back in Arusha Airport for our flight back.

James was in constant contact with our guide Moses and us to make sure the trip was very comfortable, Moses our trip guide put a lot of effort into making sure we saw as many animals as possible and was very well versed with all the national park and knew where to drive to spot the big 5. He also explained a lot about each national park and also mentioned different details about all the animals that we spotted. Our Chef Dennis made an extra effort to prepare vegetarian food for us on couple of days as per our request.
We enjoyed the trip along with our kids. We know whom to contact now to have a great safari holiday in Tanzania
Note – Please discuss your food preference with James in advance and would not recommend the Public campsite if you are going with kids below 5 or 6 years as it gets complete dark inside the tent which made my daughter scared. No lights are allowed inside the tent as it is inside the national park and lights can attract wild animals near the campsite.

We would not change a thing - perfectly perfect in every way!
5/5

My husband and I plus one of our adult daughters spent three weeks in southern Africa - Zimbabwe, Zambia, Botswana and South Africa. Wayfairer listened to us and planned an extraordinary adventure. Every hotel, meal, transfer, flight, activity, was on time and exceeded expectations: Devils pool in Zambia was an absolute highlight - breakfast trip and the best coffee we had in three weeks, Bike tour of Victoria Falls gave us the lay of the land and the rainforest walk clearly demonstrated why you should not do the Devils Pool (as you view it from the Zimbabwe side - but do it anyway - the double rainbow as you look over the 110 metre drop is totally worth it!) . The Zambezi river cruise is also a delight as we paused mid river to allow a herd of around 40 elephants to swim across. The young bulls at the back wrestling with each other the entire way showed unexpected athleticism from these huge animals. Botswana was simply sublime. The government has supported and fostered a community tourist industry which 'adopts' you on entry. Chobe Game Lodge was our first stay - here you get the most exquisite animal encounters. An early game drive starts each day where we saw big cats - three prides of lions, an elusive leopard (remember to look in the trees!), giraffes, water buffalo, many antelopes and an array of beautiful birds. The all female guides are knowledgeable and determined to find whatever you want to see. This Lodge has the added advantage of location on the Chobe River so, you cruise after lunch - Crocodiles, Eagles, Hippopotamus, Baboons and hundreds of elephants! Then, the late afternoon game drive brings out the 'thirsty multitudes' as they prepare for the cooler evening and their search for dinner or their preparation to hide from becoming dinner! Three nights at Chobe then off to Camp Okavango in the delta - the flight in is a hoot - thermals off the desert create turbulence so it is a little rocky at times but the planes are well maintained and the pilots friendly and competent. We spent three nights at Camp Okavango amongst much song from the delightful staff. Nature walks each morning and river boats in the afternoon provided an entirely different animal experience - as we felt part of the landscape now. We walked through the animals environment and this ground level trek became our favourite adventure: warthogs and their litters feeding, antelopes, jackals, hyenas, elephants and of course hippo's. The guides were locals so they had thorough knowledge of this incredible, biodiverse environment. The delta is so full of life and a must do for any trip to Africa. We completed our trip in Cape Town staying at Seapoint and renting a car to travel around. In contrast to Johannesburg, Cape Town felt safe and welcoming. Driving is easy and the roads are readily navigable: highlights here were the climb up Lions Head (took us around 50 minutes to climb up - view is Wow!), Table Mountain cable, Cape of Good Hope and of course the Wine. Thank you Wayfairer - we are already deciding our next destination with you.
