You can trust MoAfrika to lay on a great trip for you, whatever your budget and length of stay, amenity needs. The booking process was really simple, courteous and efficient, all done via WhatsApp and paid via official invoice. From the moment our driver Sunny picked me up at 05:30 I was in safe and knowledge hands - he went far beyond his brief to enlighten us with helpful and insightful background info. The Ivory Tree Lodge was second to none in facilities, comfort and the splendid setting and decor. The staff were so very personable and engaging, showing interest at every moment. The accommodation was gorgeous, very exclusive, individual and private. The lunch and dinner options at the restaurant were good if not outstanding or gourmet and the menu was limited to 3 choices over 3 courses. I wasn’t sure how local the produce was eg lamb, so I might have preferred a braì in this case. But it came included in the price so it was hassle free and did taste perfectly good. The breakfast on the other hand it has to be said were delicious, maybe the best eggs Benedict I’ve had anywhere. An evening sunset drive showed off the park at its resplendent best and we were lucky enough to see a leopard stall and hunt impala. A wake up call at 05:30 for an early morning chilly drive conducted by Hellen who again was extremely communicative, knowledgable, articulate, witty and shared lots of her experience of the park and put on extra touches like a drinks break with some light tipples. We really enjoyed her company for 6 hours and the time just whizzed by. Pilanesburg is quite a small reserve and all the rangers know the places that the animals tend to populate - we were rewarded with a lioness on its morning stroll, as well as leopard stalking and hunting impala. Hellen did her best to get us to see game when she had received a tip off - she really genuinely cared. The only thing that was missing was a hat or perhaps an extra overall to ward off the cold as the blankets provided were appreciated but didn’t really do the trick - some of the other vehicles guests were provided with hooded coats (it’s the ears that get cold). But that’s a minor gripe - this was fantastic. 24 hours felt like 1 week, so much was packed into the time, but it didn’t feel too much or cramped. This park isn’t the Kruger but it is still quite big and the animals are totally in their natural habitat so you don’t feel like it’s a contrived experience. My only criticism is that there are too many single cars in the park and it became a scrum, but I hear this also happens in the Kruger despite its size, and this is the fault of the park authorities and not Moafrika whom I highly commend. They shepherded me back to Joburg safely and on time… all with a smile. A very memorable few hours and next time I’ll try their Kruger tour if I have more time , they have a big range of options for you to check out. Trip of a Lifetime
Our safari to Tanzania was a trip of a lifetime. First, a shout out to Adele Bell from Discover Africa. We had planned this trip two years ago but COVID got in the way. Adele worked with us till we were finally able to go. She planned an amazing trip. All the places we stayed were wonderful and the guides we had were superb. There were no glitches, everything went very smoothly. Of course, the tour itself was mind blowing. Visiting Tanzania at the time of the migration is one of the great events in the world. Adele Bell and Discover Africa made our excursion even more memorable.

We have just returned from the most wonderful safari experience with Brilliant. The attention to detail, care & planning was second to none. Our safari guide Eugene was amazing, ask for him ! He planned everything to make sure we got the maximum enjoyment from our 7 day tour even taking us up to the north Serengeti border to see the wildebeest migration. A once in a lifetime opportunity. Everything was designed to give us the most out of our time there. All accommodation was excellent, in particular our 2 days in the Serengeti at Into the Wild Camp. The food was excellent and all the staff at every camp and lodge were unfailingly kind. The safari vehicles are generous, comfortable and well equipped. As the roof folds back completely you can stand up and get a totally uninterrupted view 360. The cold beers & snacks on board were appreciated, especially by my sons! .
It’s often tricky to judge how to book holidays like this but you will be in very safe hands with Brilliant. Julieth met us at the beginning and end of our safari and even checked in with us 1/2 way through to make sure the company were fulfilling our wishes. Brilliant is locally owned and operated and I think this makes all the difference. They are experts and so knowledgable.Thank you Brilliant, we will be recommending you to everyone !

Amazing experience
I looked into booking budget safari last second, so I send some inquiries 5 days before departure and decided to go with Sunnycreek as they seemed most upfront and knowledgeable about my questions, and without constant calling and pushing. Communication was amazing, everything went as planned. Land Cruiser was a definite go to, and our driver and guide Jeff was amazing. Super knowledgeable, kind, shared good moments with us, but wasn’t too much in our space which was appreciate. I am a solo traveler so it was great meeting other people in jeep, and our team was so great! Jeff took us to places where we were not always surrounded with other vehicles, as it’s busy season, and that was amazing, because he knew where to go, and those times we saw lions on multiple occasions. He as well always got us in the best positions for picture taking, and to close proximity as able to animals. Amazing experience.
Accommodation was honestly better than I expected. First two days tents was good, even with bed and bathroom inside, and following accommodations in hotels was really good for budget safari. You will not regret going with Sunnycreek and Jeff.

Our tour guide John was great - he made sure the experience of safari was exactly what we wanted to do and he was friendly and happy throughout.
Of chef was brilliant! She cooked special vegetarian meals for us and packed us delicious traditional food for lunches.
Our accomodation was fab and we had everything we needed.

Interesting and moving
