Great tour leader
We were going on a three day safari from Fig Tree lodge with Peter Ngigi as driver and tourleader. Peter drove the big Landcruiset with excellent skills and managed to give us fantastic experiences and the possibility of taking really great pictures. Peter is a really nice guy and his knowledge of Masai Mara and the animal life there lifted the safari to a High and satisfying level. I can only give Peter my absolute best recommandations.

Excellent animal drives with knowledgeable driver
My family and I were five people who were picked up in a big Land Cruiser at our accommodations and drove us to the Mara Fig Tree Camp in the early afternoon. During our stay here, our driver Peter Ngigi took us on an evening and full day Animal drive across the Masai Mara. He ensured we had wonderful trips both times. Well organised with timing, car and refreshments, but most importantly by being exceptionately friendly and likeable, while also being a fountain of information on the many many animals we saw (only missing the rhino!) and answering all our questions. I praise his work highly.

Outstanding 10-Day Tour with Wild Uganda
Our 10-day tour with Wild Uganda was exceptional, thanks to our outstanding guide Herbert, who provided in-depth insights into the culture, wildlife, and nature of Uganda and Rwanda. The tour was excellently organized, with each stop being a highlight of its own. We highly recommend Wild Uganda and would choose them again without hesitation.

It was a great experience and everything was made really easy.
We had Dennis as our driver and guide, and he was absolutely fantastic. He’s incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, helpful, and very laid-back, which made the whole experience relaxed and enjoyable. On top of that, he’s an excellent driver ( even on long, challenging roads and in some very testing driving conditions, we always felt completely safe).
The tour itself was great and we saw everything we were hoping to see, including lots of animals. There is quite a bit of travelling involved, but it’s all part of the fun and there’s so much to see outside the window, and Dennis was always happy to explain what we were looking at or answer any questions, whether about the surroundings or even just life in general.
A huge thanks to Dennis for being an absolute legend and making this such a special experience. We’d heard a few horror stories about other tours and drivers ripping tourists off, but that couldn’t be further from the truth with Jocky Tours and Dennis. Everything was honest, well run, and exceeded our expectations.
Highly recommend, a really memorable experience.

Great experience and wonderful way to start the year
I really enjoyed the safari with Jocky Tours. It was good value for money and everything was arranged. Our guide Dennis was excellent and very knowledgeable about the animals we saw. He was also a very safe and competent driver.

Wonderful Stay and Heartfelt Appreciation

I would like to share my feedback also on behalf of my friend Christian.
Our stay at the lodge was truly wonderful. The place was beautiful, very clean, and extremely enjoyable. The team made us feel like family, and we genuinely felt as if we were staying in our second home. I truly miss the lodge already and will definitely return in another season.
All staff members were friendly, welcoming, and focused on guest comfort. The service was excellent, and the food was outstanding, honestly, among the best meals I have ever had during my travels around the world, even compared to Michelin-star restaurants.
Cleanliness was exceptional, especially in the rooms and bathrooms, which exceeded my expectations for a safari location. The small, thoughtful touches, such as chocolates and kind notes, made the experience even more special. The lodge also felt very safe and well-managed.
Special thanks to Mr. Nigel and Ms. Carol for their support, to Victor for the enjoyable safari experience, and to Ms. Rozanne for her dedication and care.

A perfectly planned day trip to Ngorongoro Crater. African Overland’s guide explained the ecosystem in detail and ensured we had enough time to enjoy every sighting. Amazing experience!

In January 2026, we went on a safari tour with Axis Africa Safaris. We spent a lot of time choosing the tour based on the price/quality ratio. We didn't regret our choice. We enjoyed everything about the tour: the organization, the vehicle, the food, and the guide's attention to detail. The most unexpected aspect was the guide, Peter Kapino, who went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and well-being. Thank you to Axis Africa Safaris and our beloved guide, Peter Kapino!
