Best time of my life.
5/5

I had such a great safari that I couldn’t even fathom using an other safari company. Have Ernest and Karen with us was amazing because they could help us with any information I was lacking (like my very own Encyclopedia). 10/10 would do again.

A once in a lifetime trip that did not disappoint.

From the moment we arrived at Belmond Eagle Island Resort, we were made to feel like royalty. The entire staff greeted us at the entrance in song, followed by refreshments and tour. The accommodations redefine the term "glamping" with our beautifully appointed tent that included an outdoor shower (as well as an interior shower and soaker tub), a walk-in closet and infinity pool on our deck. The food was as expected, just wonderful.
We chose the month of June as it's the ideal time to see the wildlife due to the fact its the wet season. Unfortunately, it just happened that it was the driest June they've experienced in 10 years. That said, it did not hamper or affect our visit in any manner. While sitting on our deck in our first minutes of arriving, we watched elephants, hippos, antelope, eagles, warthogs etc....thinking, who needs to go on a drive when you're surrounded by all of this wildlife.
We were assigned a guide when we arrived. The daily routine was, your guide comes to your tent at 6:00am with coffee for your wake up call. Breakfast at 6:30 then meet at the jeep for 7:00 - 7:30. The morning drive goes until approx 11:00am, return for lunch and then 'siesta' time until 3:00 when you meet at the main lodge for "tea" then back to the jeep for 3:30 for your afternoon drive. The afternoon drive lasts until sundown which ends at a scenic spot at which the guide sets up a little bar so you can enjoy a cocktail while you watch the sunset.
Being winter at that time, the morning temperature can be quite cool (between 5-10 degrees celsius). While they advise you to wear layers, fleece lined ponchos were provided as well as blankets for the morning drive. By the end of the morning drive however the layers are peeled off at the temperature shot up to the mid 20's. I don't think we saw a cloud the whole time we were there.
As a professional photographer I was thrilled that we had drives that included the beautiful 'golden hour light'. I was also very happy that our driver had a good understanding of light for photography and would always position our vehicle for the best possible angle to take pictures.
I won't get into the actual wildlife we witnessed, only to say that we pretty much saw it all, including the Big 5 - Lion, Leopard, Rhino, Elephant and Cape Buffalo. Our guide was amazing in his ability to track the various animals along with his knowledge of the area and wildlife.
Being a private reserve, we rarely saw another vehicle which for me enhanced the experience. As a bonus, I treated myself to a helicopter ride over the area which was a highlight of the trip, to see and photograph the animals from a different perspective. I would highly recommend the Belmond Lodges for that 'once in a lifetime trip and experience'

The company allowed us to customize our trip to fit our needs. Chris was our driver/guide was amazing. We went to Lake Nakuru, Lake Naivasha, and the Mara. We saw the big 5 and more!

Great way to see the best of Ugandan Wildlife
5/5

I had an amazing experience in Uganda thanks to Bamboo Ecotours. The 5 day tour covers everything! You see Gorillas, do game drives for local wildlife, a game boat ride, and see the chimps. They put the entire package together and made it all work. I would definitely use them again.

4 days safari trip
5/5

We used this company to help us make our dream come true, seeing animals in their natural habitat.
The trip turned out to be awesome. We visited tarangire, serengeti and ngorongoro national parks and had the chance to see the animals really close. Humphrey and my husband had a lot of contact through email before the trip and Humphrey was very helpful and responded all of our many, many questions.

The food on the trip was great, it was cooked by our chef every night. He was with us on the whole trip along with the driver who was also our guide. The guide knew a lot about the animals so we got taught a lot, and he had a really good eye for spotting animals while driving.

We slept in tents wich was a bit scary but really cool. We could hear lions, zebras and hyenas in the nights. It still feels pretty safe on the camping places. Its very important to pack warm clothes since it gets really cold during the nights and early mornings, especially in Ngorongoro. Humphrey had provided us with information about it before the trip so we were prepared but there was other people who had really cold nights in the tents.

A good thing also is to bring toilet paper, because its often none toiletpaper in the public restrooms and in the camping places.

The car was also provided with power outlets so we could all charge our phones and cameras during daytime while drivning. A few camping places had power outlets but not all.

After the trip we also had a follow-up meeting with Ally who felt truly interested about knowing how our trip went on, wich for me means that the company is really serious about always providing their best to the customers.

Over all, this was a really nice experience and everything just went on smooth. I can highly recommend Wild life oasis tour for everyone who wants to have a great adventure.

Every African Countries has its own uniqueness
5/5

I had one of the best and life time experience in Zimbabwe and Botswana, hosted by Saimon and Oscar. As a solo traveler, its always finding difficulties and challanging to organize the safaris and travel packages. Fortunately had an effective communication with Saimon and his team managed very well, from the arrival to the departure. He was very flexible in organizing my tour as I love wild life photography, so I spend additional 2 more days in Chobe National Park. The Victoria falls was beautiful, on every angle. Chobe National park, preferred to do evening game drives, as you can see lots of animals and also had a fantastic boat drives on Chobe river. I always prefer to choose camping tour, for its own uniqueness(stay with nature). But the camping in Chobe safari Lodge was the best out of all... it was splendid. Definitely will do again with my family, as they will really love it.
