My First African Safari
5/5

I had a wonderful safari! Isaac showed me all the animals I wanted to see. I will never forget this experience. From the day I was picked up at the Tulia Boutique hotel to four days later, I had the best time of my life. Book your safaris with Goldfinch Adventures; you won’t regret it!

About: ZAFS Tours
Just excellent, totally professional with a super human touch
5/5

A relatively new company in the tours and trek operating space, ZAFS tours have carved a niche branding and service quality. The limited space of tourism and trekking has many competing companies, but ZAFS stands out way above all of these.

I had the start my interaction with this team even before I left India to tanzania; we 5 of us had plan A for the trekking of Kilimanjaro and Plan B of Sarangeti. As we arrived at Kili airport, we could feel the attitude of the people and the difference it was making to our overall presence so comfortable.

The kili trek and its organising was so amazing, even though all trekkers feft the difficulty of completing the summit, the ZAFS support and help made us speechless, their professionalism combined with human touch is truly amazing, my total solutes to them.

Incredible Safari experience, friendly staff and great value for money
5/5

Our 3 day masai Mara Safari was beautiful. Jocky tours looked after us in Nairobi and then our driver and guide Jimmy took us on the long journey south and around the parks. Jimmy was knowledgable, respectful and had laser vision! I always felt safe with him at the wheel. Some drivers broke the rules of the park and their driving looked as if it was harassing the animals, but Jimmy was chill. The Land Cruiser did a decent job, although with the rocky terrain don’t expect a smooth ride. The campsite was stunning, comfortable tents surrounded by nature. Sleeping to the call of hyenas and waking to the symphony of birds. The food was basic but nutritious and there’s a bar for extras. As a solo traveller, I was relieved to be joined by a lovely group, a mixture of couples and other solo peeps. I also met a whole range of others at the campsite, as it’s shared with other groups. There was a slight change in itinerary due to new park rules, which meant we couldn’t go back into the park on day 3, but I was quite happy to have a chilled morning in and around the accommodation, spotting a few new birds with the campsite chef, Enok. I would definitely recommend Jocky tours to anyone considering a safari, especially solo travellers like myself. Thanks Jimmy for making it awesome!

Best safari experience in Tanzania
5/5

We had a great time. Our driver YUNUS was very kind and nice. He made our experience as a couple unique. Enterprising in research, but at the same time extremely respectful of nature and animals. Impeccable organization and correctness compared to what was anticipated. The result was above expectations!

Fantastic Experience
5/5

What a fantastic trip. I would definitely recommend our 10 day tour of Uganda and Rwanda with Gorilla O'clock. Paul (the owner) is very attentive and always easy to contact on WhatsApp. Khalif (tour guide) was fantastic. He was able to explain so much about the culture and wildlife we encountered

We saw the Big 5 and more with Viva Safari
5/5

We had an incredible time with Viva Safari and I can't say enough about our experience. My spouse and I had considered doing a self-driving tour in Kruger with our rental car... but if you saw where George - our guide - was driving us in Balule Private Game Reserve, no rental car could ever get us that close and personal to a hunting leopard.

We did a 4-Day Tour in late August staying at Tremisana Lodge and Marc's Treehouse. Viva Safari was easy to work with and on-site staff kept us well-informed about our logistics, daily plans, and expectations. The August time was perfect. There was incredible visibility across the landscape making sightings easy with super clear lines of sight to wildlife all over the place.

The staff were great! The guides are really knowledgeable. Smiley, George, Quinton and our other guides were quick to answer questions and helped us learn more about the parks, animals and plants. Since it was our honeymoon, Mama C (I believe) personalized a little welcome at Marc's Treehouse, which was just a special cherry on top to a lovely stay.

Yes, we did see the Big 5 over the course of our tour, but that really wasn't the goal for us. We were looking to experience South Africa. Viva Safari got us close and personal with the wildlife, but also encouraged us to learn more about the overarching environment these animals are living in, and learn more about South Africa's park system and conservation efforts. We had some very honest conversations with our guides and loved every minute!

The overarching highlight - the night drive with George. We weren't finding much. We saw an elephant early in the drive and then everything went dark. Not a sight or sound from any animals. But then, as hope was fading of finding any animals, a leopard. George takes us over and we're driving parallel to this leopard. We let it go so not to disturb it, but circled back to the area 20 minutes later to find the leopard on the top branch of a huge tree hunting a genet. The genet leapt out of the tree (falling about 10 meters), leopard sprinting down after it. And we watched the entire hunt. Spectacular display and we were lucky to witness it.

Delivers on lots of animals especially elephants
4/5

We saw lots of animals on the trip, including lions and a leopard thanks to game drives especially in Chobe area. Also our guide Musa made border crossings much easier and quicker for us than for other travelers we met.
We traveled from Livingstone to Vic Falls in Zimbabwe and then into Botswana on seven day safari and back to Vic Falls. Lots of time traveling in car and game drive vehicles often over very bumpy dirt roads especially to Okevango Delta. Bush toilets on the long drives. Resort hotels and meals were very good and arranged seamlessly. Trip required many early mornings with more than daughter expected. Focus is on animals but would have enjoyed more background on countries, history and culture in Africa.

5/5

Zancruise tours and travel is a safe haven! Coming to Zanzibar, i knew nothing or anyone. Until i met Mr. Abdul and his zancruise team. He was so kind and considerate. He paid attention to all the details that were important to me and my family so that our trips were memorable and extra fun. He was always available 24/7 for any questions comments or concerns. He made sure with every trip we went on was fully stacked with water and snacks as the temperature on the island is HOT!!! And travelling with kids is HARD!!!! anything left on his watch was returned safely and complete! My kids especially loved the fact that he went out of his way to make special memories with my girls and teach them a little history of zanzibar and songs to sings witg locals! Thank you Mr. Abdul for such a memorable stay and all the once in a lifetime memories with my family! Zanzibar is not complete without you and your wonderful team!

A Remarkable 13-Day Safari Adventure!
5/5

My 13-day safari through Kenya and Tanzania was truly exceptional. While I missed the Great Migration, I was treated to breathtaking landscapes and unforgettable wildlife moments. Masai Mara offered magnificent panoramas accompanied by an abundance of wildlife. Witnessing the majestic rhinoceros in Nakuru was a rare privilege that added a unique dimension to my safari. The boat safari and bike safari in Naivasha were delightful surprises and a memorable addition to my adventure. Amboseli showcased some of the most stunning elephants I've ever seen, leaving me in awe of their grace and grandeur. Ngorongoro Crater was a geological wonder and a highlight of my journey, with its astounding diversity of wildlife in this natural amphitheater. Serengeti National Park, with its vast plains and abundant lions, offered a truly unique and timeless safari experience. Tarangire and Manyara added variety to my adventure, with Tarangire's landscape and Manyara's birdlife ensuring I didn't miss anything. The professional and knowledgeable drivers were the backbone of my safari, enhancing my understanding of the African wilderness. My safari was a blend of remarkable moments and unique encounters. I gained so much from this unforgettable journey and I want to come back to catch the Great Migration. The budget accommodations were quite comfortable, allowing me to fully appreciate nature and connect with fellow travelers to share our incredible experiences. A heartfelt thanks to the exceptional guides and the entire team for making the safari an incredible experience.
