Absolutely fantastic
5/5

Dear readers, as a solo female traveler I like to join a group Safari/tours to meet new people. So because Suricata already had great reviews I chose them. The communication with the owner Hilary was fantastic. He replied quickly and also kind and to the point. Then the Safari itself our driver was Edgar and chef Tito. We had a fantastic group of people that also chosen to do the camping. During the 5 day Safari Edgar gave us interesting information and knew how to spot the animals. He is kind and knows a lot (he has 22 years of experience) and then chef Tito… what can I say great food! Every time he delivered an oooh and an aaah from us his guests. All camping sites were great and clean except for camping Simba. The location is great however the gouvernement doesn’t maintain the bathrooms and they are disgusting and there are no “normal” toilets so you need to know how to squat. Sadly there isn’t another option of camping in ngorongoro, so just go with the flow. The camping site at Serengeti however is wauw!!!! Absolutely beautiful and amazing, you can de lions roar and hyena’s laugh as they were next to your tent. Tips for the 5 day camping share Safari in February; bring toilet paper, bring just light shoes (no hiking boots are necessary as you will be in the jeep at all times), slippers for the shower, good camera, swimming ware as in one of the camping there is a swimming pool and happy spirits as you will find no better Safari as at Suricata!! Next year we will come back with some of the group and book a private Safari with Suricata. Thank you Hilary, Edgar, Tito, mr. T, Ally and Rocky for this absolutely beautiful and fantastic experience ❤️

Well Planned, Professional and Friendly Tour Company
5/5

We travelled to Kenya and Tanzania for our honeymoon in August 2022. The driver Samson picked us up from the airport and gave us a wonderful 4 days in the Masai Mara. He was professional, his car was pristine clean and comfortable, and he was super knowledgeable and accommodating. We thoroughly enjoyed the tour, even though it was our first safari experience.

When we returned from Serengeti and spent an extra evening in Nairobi, Paul, the owner of Motto, as well as his wife picked us up at the airport immaculately dressed and looked after us amazingly well. Paul is intelligent and our conversations were very inspiring.

We highly recommend Motto Tours to anyone thinking about Kenya and Tanzania - I am sure Motto Tours can give you a tailored and once-in-a-lifetime experience!

I had the pleasure of meeting the directors of Gilmag on my solo trip.... The kindest souls ever. They are so knowledgeable and between going site seeing between Arusha and Moshi including a visit to the beautiful Chemka springs, my trip could not have been anything short of remarkable. I 100% recommend Gilmag and I will be coming again.

Best safari ever!
5/5

We did the 4 day tour staying in tented lodges. The food and accomodation was amazing and all the staff at the accomodations were so helpful and welcoming. The accomodations far exceeded our expectations and were incredibly good value - most of them also had wifi which we were not expecting!

Our driver Max was incredible and we saw the big 5 across the 4 days. Max was very knowledgeable of the parks and animals and answered all our questions and gave us lots of information on the animals. We had some keen photographers in our group and Max was always incredibly patient and made extra effort to get the truck in a good position to take the best photos of the animals and get good light. Hilary, Ally and Max all made sure we had the best trip and I could not recommend suricata enough. If you’re planning a safari in Tanzania then these guys will make sure you have the best experience possible!

Best experience of our lives
5/5

The guide was really friendly and clearly knew what he was doing - knew how to find the best animals and sights, and went above and beyond to ensure we had the best experience possible. He made us feel safe 100% of the time and showed great respect for the nature.

Fantastic 12 day tour Kenya&Uganda
5/5

Mega wild was a fantastic safari experience! We went on the 12 day trip through Kenya and Uganda to see Gorillas and had a great time.

From the start we had great communication with Anne who helped us plan the whole trip via email and spoke on the phone to arrange payment. We were a little wary of using the ‘wise’ app for payment as we had not heard of it before, but this is used a lot in Africa and worked really well and there were no problems.

We were picked up in Nairobi by our guide Alex in a great 4x4 safari truck and had lots of room to relax and settle in. We visited the Masai Mara, lake Nakuru and Amboseli and saw many wonderful animals (with the roof popped up). Alex was great at finding the animals and told us lots of information on them. The accommodations were stunning, big beautiful lodges set within the parks with nice pools and good buffet food.

We then had an amazing week exploring Uganda with our guide Dalson! Our journey started with pick up from Entebbe and a long drive to Kibale forest national park, but Dalson provided refreshments, Wi-Fi and kept us well entertained on the way! Stopping occasionally to give us interesting information on locals and their work, for example the charcoal making. We had an amazing time chimp trekking in Kibale then went on a local community walk around a swap, coffee farm and banana plantation. We then went on to Queen Elizabeth national park for a wonderful game drive and a boat trip where we saw lots of animals! We then went to Bwindi for Gorilla trekking which was amazing. Dalson was always very cheerful, happy to stop when needed for rest breaks, happy to talk to us and answer any questions. We also made some last minute changes to our plans which Dalson helped us with and chose some great accommodation for us! We would definitely recommend Dalson to anyone going to Uganda and we hope to see him again some day (maybe at an arensal game!).

Our only feedback was that the Uganda van was not AS nice as the Kenya 4x4, but was still big, comfortable and the roof popped up, just didn’t have the same aesthetics as the classic ‘safari 4x4’.

We would definitely recommend Mega Wild safaris. And don’t be afraid to ask questions and rearrange itinerary to suit you, they are more than accommodating!
