Great experience! From pick up to drop off flawless. Highly recommend
5/5

I read a lot of reviews about Pilanesberg vs Krueger NP. While we did not see big cats, we saw PLENTY of elephants l, rhinos, hippos, giraffes, warthogs, wildebeest, impalas, etc. Compared to KNP (which is the size of Belgium), Pilanesberg is the optimal choice if only you have is 1 day.

Terrible
1/5

I had a terrible experience before my actual travel. First thing in May when I was not able to travel due to visa rejection however I had made a deposit of around $500 as it was required. I accepted the terms that this amount won't be refunded as per T&C. Before that I asked for a domestic flight to be included and they gave me the price I confirmed the quote at that time. Then they provided a revised quote with a different price for the flight. I kept mentioning that I confirmed a different price which was much more than the price if I booked it on my own. They simply said that the price has changed. Then I kept saying then don't book the flight, I'll book it on own and I need only the timing that you would pick me up to book accordingly. Over & over with no understanding until I had to escalate to a higher manager who finally gave the approx time. I checked, in case I re-apply in Nov or Oct what will be the refund. I have been told that it'll be 15% of the total quote which wasn't clear to me at the time how they would apply 15% to the whole quote if I paid only 25%. In July I got my visa and resent asking for a quote. They applied the 15% of the quote which is almost 55.4% of the paid amount and explain to me how they calculated. So the deduction is just to reschedule in Nov. I don't know what rescheduling they did as after so many days wasted to get a correct quotation. They repeated the same mistake again that after I confirmed the quote, they started booking the accommodation which was not available at my travel dates and accordingly I could't book my flights and the prices kept increasing. Finally the found alternate accommodation with minor increase. They didn't want to bear the difference and wanted me to bear their mistake. So not only they took my money but also failed miserably to do their job of simply living up to their word. Also to justify their failure they keep saying that it's a normal practice.

Great Day in the Park
4/5

Our operator arrived on time at our hotel starting off at 6am. We enjoyed the morning with great sightings. We even saw the remnants of a lion kill with one of the lions sleeping next to its kill filled to capacity. We found the Tour Operator very knowledgeable. We ended up comparing the game to the game we have in South Africa. It was great fun. One suggestion would be to offer coffee with a biscuit mid-way. All in all a great day in the park.

Better to do a private safari
4/5

we went on a private safari, which was a good decision. This means you have more space in the car, you can take a better look at the animals and take nice photos. a group safari has 6-8 people in one car. This means you only have a small amount of space and have to hope for good photos and views. our driver Ismail was very friendly and did a very good job. he gave us enough time to observe the animals and always drove very close to the situation. The only negative thing about the company - we didn't have a jeep but a van. On the way back we had to pick up the boss at the train station. As a result, we lost over an hour of our day. this was not discussed with us. Please note: every safari (every company) goes to a house as a “break”. on the way to the parc and on the return. You can buy souvenirs there, etc. Be careful: this is not real handmade . It's a product from China and too expensive. They are trying to trick the tourists. the people there are pushy and promise that are products from Kenya :) :) :)

It's a nice experience. You should go on a safari in your life. Remember: it's a game of chance which animals you see

Always gets you in the best spot, closer to the animals than you’d imagine you would ever get!
5/5

Travel Africa Safari Agency provided a high quality, affordable but luxury experience with great hot lunches, an excellent driver and a well designed schedule which made for an unreal trip!

Omary, our driver is the best in the game ! He was so focused on giving us the best experience in Tanzania and put in so much effort. No matter how many cars there were, he always got us in the very best position to get the best photo and see the animals up close. We saw all the big 5 many times in incredible scenarios and Omary had a wealth of knowledge on the animals and the parks for which he obviously loves ! He had as much fun as we did and we really enjoyed his company. He is also an excellent driver which was great for navigating the parks.

Would recommend Omary and travel Africa agency any day and would use them again.

Omary went above and beyond to get us the best viewing experience on safari.
5/5

Omary was an excellent tour guide who made it his mission to get us as close to as many animals as possible. He did not disappoint and went almost too far to get us to see the animals we wanted to see! His communication and service was excellent, very reliable and an overall enjoyable Safari because of his commitment to finding us the good game spots!

Affordable, incredible experience
5/5

Travel Africa Safari Agency were the most affordable option for our lodge and tented camp safari. We kept wondering where the costs would be cut compared to the other companies we looked at - and there was nothing. Our car was filled with water, beers, wine and soda. The lodges they booked for us were all incredible and in amazing locations. They provided a hot lunch every single day that was the envy of all the other safari goers with their packed sandwiches and dry biscuits. They provided a personalised itinerary which allowed us to spend a day heading into Northern Serengeti to see the Wildebeast migration. This was incredible. For the price we paid, everything was the same level as some of the much more luxury safaris.

The past 6 days on Safari with Omary have been some of the most incredible days in my life. There is no one better than Omary at getting you into the best spots possible to view all of the animals. We were closer to the animals than I could have ever imagined. He has an incredible passion for safari and all of the animals and you can see his excitement everytime he finds you some cheetahs, lions, leopards and everything else to just sit back and admire - it’s like he is seeing everything for the first time again. He is very informative and brings a great sense of humour to the job every single day. He makes the early mornings very easy. We saw everything we could have imagined and so much more. Some of the highlights were: Great Migration of Wildebeast, seeing sinmany cheetahs, and on two occasions seeing them eat some lunch. Seeing a lion eating a zebra 1m away from the car. Seeing leopards active in the treetops. Countless giraffes and over 100 lions in the Serengeti. Seeing an elephant funeral. He got us the big 5 and so much more. Would recommend Omary as a guide to anybody wanting to have the best safari experience possible.

Best safari and guide ever, Asante Hemed
5/5

We chose Safari Adventure for a safari in Tanzania and stayed at the Tarangire, Lake Maniara, Ngorongoro and the Serengeti. We also visited a local village and a Maasai village. Everything was perfect, the places are unforgettable and it is impossible not to leave our hearts. We absolutely recommend Adventure Safari for how they organised everything, for the choice of Lodges / tent camps and for the care of every detail and excellent food.

We were very lucky to have Hemed as a guide: he satisfied us at all times and was always very kind, very nice and very prepared and with an excellent knowledge of the Italian language.

Unforgettable holiday!
