Reliable organisation with great communication and listens carefully to your wishes!
Amazing self-drive Botswana!
We are very satisfied with our safari organised by African Travels! The communication during the planning-phase was very effective, quick, and personal and within no-time they had turned our wishes into a realistic travel plan through Botswana and South-Africa. They choose great lodges and campsites, and the itinerary was varied and aligned very well with our wishes. We had an amazing time and really enjoyed the self-drive safari! The river cruise in Chobe was one of our favourite activities and we had the most fun time driving through the deep sand.
Overall, a very reliable agency that we would very much recommend

MEMORIES FOR LIFE, WITH NGEKEWA TOURS AND SAFARIS
Deciding to go on a Safari with my 10-year-old son was one of the best decisions I've made for a father and son trip. Of all the safari companies I found on the internet, Ngekewa Tours and Safaris was the one I choose. What made me chose this company was simply because of the attention I received when I sent numerous emails enquires. Joshua, the person behind the responses was very professional, prompt in replies and transparent. This engaging attitude and interest in ensuring my questions were answered gave me no doubt about my choice in choosing Ngekewa for my safari trip; and having this comfort I signed up for the five-day Safari trip. I received my proposed itinerary which laid out the entire tour for each day. This in itself was a testament of how Ngekewa tours and safaris leaves no wondering as to what activities you would be doing each day.
We arrived at Kilimanjaro Airport two days before the safari tour. Joshua had arranged our transportation from the airport to our hotel. From the time we entered the vehicle, our driver Godlyson engaged us with an educational conversation on the history the area we were in. We had many questions to which many answers were provided. He gave us insights on activities we can do before and after our safari trip. One was being able to take photos with a few animals, which had my son's excitement hyped after hearing lions were involved. Arriving at our hotel Joshua was there to greet us. He ensured we were properly checked in and we laid out a plan for the next day.
Day before the Safari: At the set time sharp! Joshua was at the hotel ready to take us for walking tour of Arusha. We visited the famous Clock Tower which marks the center point between Cairo, Egypt and South Africa. We visited a few other monumental sites and ended at the day at a Maasai market where local artifacts are sold by people of the Maasai Tribe.
Day 1-5 Safari: We were picked up on the first day promptly at our hotel and taken to meet our safari guide Augustine. From that point on the education began. As a vivid watcher of National Geography animal planet series, I thought I knew it all but NO, there was much more to learn from Augustine. He kept us entertained throughout the entire tour which made the long ride seems like a jump in time. Each and every day had its own awe moments. I was worried about my son being bore but that wasn't an issue. We saw four of the Big five animals and numerous other animals. From sleeping in a tent under the stars in the open Serengeti and hearing the hyenas and lions’ roars at night to camping on the edge of a volcano crater. Each place we visited had its own adventure.
Last Day before departing Tanzania: On this day Joshua took us to a park where we took photos with lions, giraffes, zebras, monkeys and a few other animals. We then went to visit the biggest waterfall near the Kilimanjaro Mountain. The day ended back at the Massai market buying souvenirs.
I could write in more details, but I'm saving that for the book my son and I have been composing.
As my caption states, "MEMORIES FOR LIFE, WITH NGEKEWA TOURS AND SAFARIS."
Special thanks to: Joshua, Godlyson, Augustine and David for providing my son and I a memorable safari trip

Park chosen by tour operator in Southern Luangwa was excellent. Administration excellent.
Pick up and delivery to remote airports were excellent. Nsandile lodge was great. Guides were brilliant. We saw wild dogs the first day, close up and saw 5 leopards, including one eating an impala it had just caught. Brilliant.

They took great care of us!
Kiboko Land Advenetures was absolutely amazing. A group of us where there for trip to visit some churches and villages. Gasper and Lodvick were amazing guides and extremely helpful with everything. I was there with two of my daughters and we felt safe and in great hands the whole time. We also had a long lay over in Kenya and they helped arrange a quick trip with another Safari tour group and we were able to go on a nice short day safari instead of sitting in the airport. I highly recommend Kiboko Land Adventures.

5 Stars for Salomon, 4 Stars for Sunny Creek
We have spent 3 days (2nights) at Masa Mara.
1st day Pickup in Nairobi and go for the payment to the office. Once done, dispatch with the driver and team for the days.
The price paid was the one communicated over WhatsApp exchange.
We would prefer if Sunny creek would have gave us other option for accommodations, only the camping one was propose randomly.
There are also a more “luxury” version. But was not propose actively unfortunately. And it’s not that expensive.
Regarding accommodations. It’s tents ⛺️ with a bed and bathroom (individual). Standard is acceptable for the environment and location. Electricity available in the morning and night. Some hours.
Food is a bit limited.
Salomon was an amazing guide. He did all for us to feel comfortable and found the best spots.
He was always in the good spots. Good connection I guess with others drivers. Always moving to find the action in the park. His skills of driver and explanations during the 3 days were also really appreciated !
He really cares and have interest for what he is doing. And as client, we appreciate that.
We had the chance to see a lot of animals. Big 5… much more.
Masai Mara is an amazing reserve.
Count around 350.- usd for each for this 3 days. (Tipps not included)

Excellent
Our trip to Africa was an amazing experience, and Africa tanzanite safari made it happen. We spent a week in central and Northern Tanzania, touring through the Tarangire, Ngorongoro Crater, Serengeti. We saw hundreds animals daily, with many animals right next to our jeep. We slept in a different lodge or tent camp each night, and we were well taken care of. Ezrom Lema was our tour guide for this week, and he was friendly, knowledgeable, accommodating, and was invested in our good experience. We enjoyed being together!

Simply the best!
Just came back from an amazing safari with Lion King Adventures.
Not our first safari, but the best by far!
The company – Lion King: great itinerary, the extra touches: hot picnic lunches (while others carried brown bags), diligence in catering to individual customer’s needs, extra cushions to make the driving over bumpy roads a lot less painful and the list goes on…
The guide – Richard: passionate about his job, highly knowledgeable and competent, pleasant to be around (which is very important when you spend many days together), always goes the extra mile for his customers.
We experienced so many fascinating encounters with animals, stayed in great hotels, it was the trip of our lives!
Will always recommend Lion King Adventures and Richard to anyone interested in an African safari.

An unforgettable experience I would recommend to everyone!
During our trip, every interaction with locals was positive and we felt welcome and safe no matter where we were in Kenya. My family and I were picked up at our hotel in Nairobi promptly at 7:00 am and taken to the busy downtown area where, after a bit of waiting, we transferred to another vehicle and driver to take us to Masai Mara for a safari. On the way to Masai Mara, we stopped at the Great Rift Valley and were treated to stunning views of the "Cradle of Humanity". During our safari, we experienced spectacular sights of wildlife--including four of the big five! Our safari lodge stay was top notch. Also, we learned about the unique and fascinating customs of the Masai with a visit to a traditional Manyatta (village). We then travelled to the southeast coast (Mombasa and Diani), where we explored the rich cuisine, crafts and history of Kenya's Swahili culture. After Mombasa, we went back to the vibrant and growing capital, Nairobi--where we visited markets and museums, while experiencing more of Kenya's delicious cuisine!
The entire trip was unforgettable for me and my family. I would highly recommend Kenya as a travel destination to anyone who asks!
