Trustworthy company with fast and reliable communication.
We decided to go on the safari with five guys and after some research we selected Bateleur Eagle Safaris. We were not disappointed. The organizer contacted us immediately via whatsapp and was willing to tailor safari what fits to our groups needs. Every question which came up to our minds, Winston was ready to help and answer to them in no time at all. Even just regular Kenya/our trip related question, which didn't relate to the safari in any way.
We paid the deposit upfront and paid the rest when we saw each other. The deposit payment was easy to make in the net bank. Rest of the payment was bit of a hassle, because we needed to withdrawal dollars from Nairobi, but there are only some atm's where you can withdrawal them, but in the end we found one.
Pick-up and drop off back to the Nairobi worked smoothly. They always drove to our accommodations parking lot for the pick-up/drop-off.
We had zero expectations about the safari, but our driver/guide managed to show us all of the animals what we could imagine seeing in the safari. Even the Rhino which is really uncommon to see in maasai mara, least if you spend there only three days! He was willing to tell us about the animals, how they behave and about their manners etc.
I would say that the trip was worth every cent of it. Just be ready hear lot of animal noises during the night-time, while you are trying to sleep :).

The Most amazing holiday in Africa
I have had the best holiday in Africa. My Africa Safari with Dallago tours started with just an inquiry through their website. After that, Dallago's consultant helped me get a package that was fit for me. What I got was a 10 Day Kenya and Uganda safari. Of course, I wanted to experience Gorilla Trekking, Maasai Mara (Wildebeast Migration), and visit Amboseli. The driver and guides were very friendly and professional. They have well-maintained and equipped cars. Whenever we went outside our camp into the jungle, they would always pack food for us. I learned so much and enjoyed my experience. My guide also helped in taking pictures.

Communication was perfect through WhatsUp, they were patient and giving us details and explanations. Very Well organized agency. We spent 5 days in Zimbabwe and everything was great. Good people and good staff.

Compass Odyssey helped guide us through all the obstacles we met planning a trip during a pandemic.
Our safari took us to the Okavango Delta and Chobe National Park in Botswana, and Hwange National Park in Zimbabue, with a last day in Victoria Falls. Darren customized our experience to include a wide variety of landscapes, animals and their habitats, and accommodations. We felt that in a relatively short amount of time we saw and participated in much of what southern Africa has to offer. The wildlife was abundant and the guides were friendly, efficient, and extremely knowledgeable. The staffs at our accommodations were happy to serve our every want and need, and the food was outstanding. Mortimer, Compass Odyssey's Victoria Falls guide, gave us an amazing and informative tour there. For such a distant and complicated trip the glitches were few and relatively minor. It seemed like a luxury vacation at a mid-range price.

Kathi was outstanding and was extremely helpful and responsive when we had questions.
My mom and I went to South Africa for a safari. We had a fabulous time and enjoyed 2 beautiful lodges that were recommended by Kathi from African Welcome Safaris. MERU SLOPES is the best!
We enjoyed our 6 day Safari from the beginning to end. I researched several Safari companies and had extensive communications with my top three and I am so glad that I chose MERU SLOPES. They exceeded my expectations. They are a well run professional Safari company that I would highly recommend. They provided top notch 5* accommodations in all three lodges/hotels that we stayed at and we truly felt like we were treated like VIPs by them and the resorts that we stayed at. For what we paid, I would say it was very reasonable. Coming from the US it was overwhelming planning the trip but Meru helped us tremendously including getting our local flights from Zanzibar to Arusha to Kilimanjaro.
ABOUT THE SAFARI
We visited Tarangire National Park, Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater. One of our accommodations was a lodge in the Serengeti where the animals (lions, leopards etc.) roam freely and can literally be on your doorstep. We were never afraid; we heard so many animals at night some of which were outside our bedroom. What an experience! It is difficult to put into words. Our accommodation at Ngorongoro Crater was at the top of the crater with the most gorgeous view I have ever seen in my life! Spectacular! Again we were treated like royalty and had the best cuisine and massages that were ideal after a long game drive. Our driver was also excellent and a very careful driver.
We saw 4 of the big 5 and thanks to Meru we witnessed the Wildebeest migration AND them crossing the Mara River into Kenya. This is HUGE as people camp out for days and never get to see this.
Thanks to Meru we also met the Maasai tribe at their village and interacted with them including dancing with them which I loved. Again, once in a lifetime opportunity.

Good value for money
I had a very good experience. The camp was nice food was good. I liked the guide James, he made a lot off efforts so we could see all the animals. Also to go to nakuru, which was great. I would recommend the tour to very one.
