Magnificent safari
5/5

We’ve just completed an 8 day safari and it has been the trip of a lifetime. Throughout the booking process we dealt with Sandy who was always quick to respond and put together a fantastic itinerary for us - thank you Sandy.

We arrived at Kilimanjaro Int’l airport and were met by our transfer driver who took us to Planet Lodge Arusha for a one night stay before starting our Safari. We were met the next morning at 8am by the wonderful Cleopa - our guide for then next 8 days, and started the drive to Tarangire NP.

Tarangire was brilliant and was teeming with wildlife. We saw 4 out of the big 5 within 4 hours of being inside the NP and we loved every minute of our 2 game drives. We stayed overnight inside the park at Acacia Tarangire Luxury Camp which was so comfortable and we were felt most welcome by all of the staff.

On to Lake Manyara the next day, which again was brilliant and we got to see one of the famous tree climbing lions on a hunt for baboons! We then had a short trip to Escarpment Luxury Lodge for a great evening of fantastic food and rest.

Next day Cleopa drove us to the Serengeti NP which took about 5 hours. The roads aren’t great but he’s a skilled 4x4 driver who made it as comfortable as possible and made sure we had the opportunity to stop along the way for comfort breaks. The Serengeti NP is truly incredible and Cleopa made sure we saw as much as possible. We had 3 nights at Melia Serengeti, which I believe is a 5 star hotel and it very much lived up to expectations.

Day 6 saw us head to Lemala Ngorongoro which is a tented camp. All hotels we stayed at had brilliant staff but the team at Lemala Ngorongoro really go above and beyond. The morning after we headed into the crater which was unbelievable.

Soul of Tanzania upgraded our accommodation on day 7 and we stayed at Ziwani Lodge at Lake Eyasi. Again, an extremely welcoming atmosphere and the staff go out of their way to make you feel comfortable.

Finally on to day 8 and an early start to visit the Hadzabe tribe and Datoga people. The Hadzabe tribe were very friendly and showed us their hunting techniques and we were given the opportunity to attempt to speak their language! Very informative. Similarly with the Datoga people we were given a demonstration on how they make jewellery and make arrowheads from scrap metal, before a lesson into their culture and how they prepare polenta. A farewell ceremony followed and we started the long trip back to the airport.

Cleopa made the trip for us. He knew exactly where to go in each of the parks and is a master at positioning the 4x4 in the best locations for photos. He gave us all the time we wanted to take photos, videos and enjoy all the special moments. He was flexible with the start time of each day - happily going with our preferences. His lessons in basic Swahili along with the wildlife we saw will never be forgotten too. Thank you brother, for making this a holiday to remember.

Tips for travellers - the roads are pretty bad in places, so this isn’t the trip for you if you suffer from travel sickness. Also they are incredibly dusty so you will end up dirty after each day. Nights can get a bit cold, as can the mornings. Take plenty of US dollars and keep plenty of smaller denominations for purchases along the way and for tips. If you can get the local currency then certain purchases may be cheaper with this.

He was brilliant
5/5

Nalange Mobile Safaris organized a trip for us a group of friends. The trip started in Makgadikgadi Pans and went to Moremi Game Reserve. Tebla planned the trip for us based on our budget, he made sure we had the best time and experience. He was very professional and always on time, his communications skills were brilliant. We had the experience of our life times, we slept in the open skies at Makgadikgadi Pans and we also visited the meerkats. The meals were always on time and properly cooked.
Moremi was amazing as well, our camp was well prepared for us. And there was a lot of sightings and we enjoyed the boat cruise. The best sighting was a head of buffalos one morning which were well over 500 and driving right in the middle of the head was the best experience.
That was my first experience with Nalange Mobile Safaris and since then I have used them again in 2022 and I will be using them again in 2023 for my personal trips into the Okavango. I highly recommend them. They are very experienced and extremely professional.

We did the 3-day camping tour and it was absolutely lovely. Our tour guide Ali was very nice and professional and showed us lots of animals. The communication and the service on the tour was very good. The meals cooked by Richard were tasty and always cooked freshly. I would definitely recommend the tour and cosiano safari!

Amazing Tour
5/5

We had a very great time on the safari. The food from chef Richard was very tasty and varied. The accommodations were also top. Thanks to Ali our driver we could discover a lot of animals. The driver approached the animals perfectly and knew exactly where which animals were. A very special experience.

Amazing tour and great experience
5/5

We booked the tour with Thomas who we know via a friend. The communication was great and he is very kind. He even showed us around Arusha where we stayed the nights before and after the tour. Our tour guide Ali was great. He drove us so close to the animals and he always knew where the animals would go. The food was great as well and the chef Richie also paid attention to dietary requirements. We saw so many animals and all in all it was perfect. I highly recommend this tour!!

Absolutely wonderful and excellent at planning.
5/5

Such a well organised and an unforgettable safari trip with Nalange safaris. Mr. Tebla who is the owner and guide made sure we had nothing to worry about and just enjoy the beauty that Botswana had to offer. Everything in the itinerary, from the custom safari vehicle, stays (campsites and luxury camp) to the game drives and our relax time was so well planned. Wouldn’t have chosen anyone else for this once in a lifetime experience. Must say, really looking forward to be back in Botswana and experience it all over again. Thank you Nalange Safaris!!

Best decision to choose Kihindo Tours as our Tour Operator: Excellent service
5/5

First of all, thanks to Winnie - she did everything to make our tour unforgettable (smooth booking process, personal care via WhatsApp from beginning to end...)
Our first driver Peter took us from Dar to the first stop where we changed the cars and we had the chance to taste very fresh roasted cashews & excellent coffee.
Our personal highlight during the Safari was Isaya from Kihindo Tours. All in all we were more than satisfied with the handling. Everything just worked perfectly. Already on the outward journey from Dar to Camp Bastian we have sighted the first animals thanks to the good eyes of our guide.
The accommodation was very comfortable. Also the food was very good, the service was excellent.
The visit to the massai village was a unique experience as well as the safari on the second day. Isaya managed to get us ALL the animals living in the park in front of the camera and was always in a very good mood. Asante sana!

Perfect individual package, organisation and lots of luck with wildlife!
5/5

We booked with EBS because their location in Masaka was close by and David could offer us a perfect package for our time and needs! We decided to go low budget, but everything was kinda high class! Communication couldnt have been better, driver was the best choice so the value for the money was far more than we exepted!! Weve also been so lucky with the wildlife - probably because we had such an experienced guide ;)
Thank you for everything!
