Great safari and at a very reasonable price!
5/5

My husband and I went on a 6 day safari. Being peak period, the tour operators were charging an extortionate amount for a 2 week Kenya holiday with a safari and beach break. I decided to put the entire package together myself and successfully booked it for 1/2 the price.
I found Sino Africa safaris online
I dealt with Fredrick via e-mail. He replied promptly, and the cost was very competitive compared to other safari companies I had been recommended.
The safari I saw on their web link was a 6 day safari, with budget tented accommodation, so I asked for upgrades to mid-range, which they did for me and were still cheaper than the other companies.
I stayed in the accommodation I paid for which was exceptionally good. We saw all the 'Big 5' and much more. No complaints and would recommend them to other customers.

Awesome 12 days Safari in Kenya & Tanzania
5/5

The star of the company is definitely Mr. Le. Fantastic organization and very responsive. I joined a 12 days group joining safari as a solo traveler.

I spent the first 7 days in Kenya with Sammy who is a great driver and a knowledgeable guide. The national parks were awesome, especially hell's gate national park where we cycled in the park among the animals. Food is pretty decent but not much option available. Do prepare yourself for long drives as the roads close to the national parks are usually not paved and the distance between the parks is long.
Next 5 days were spent in Tanzania with the tour operator, 7 wonders. Serengeti and ngorongoro crater were amazing. Lots of wildebeest and zebras in serengeti in December as they have moved from Masai Mara. Lake manyara was a little disappointing as the one of the road was closed due to rainy season. I would suggest to spend more time in serengeti. As I was a solo traveler, I was placed into a different group on the last day.
Accommodation was either lodge or hotel in Kenya. I slept in tents in Tanzania at campsite which had hot showers.
Crossing the border is pretty easy but the queue can be long. Be prepared to change and wait for buses. And make sure you check with the tour operators on the transportation arrangement 1 to 2 days earlier. There was some confusion on my return trip to Kenya from Tanzania but it was handled very well by Mr. Le on a very short notice.
Mr.Le is a trustworthy man and operator. He was very professional. I appreciate his help greatly. =)

Professional guide and wonderful experience
5/5

Communication was fast and easy. I had exact information and very good service.

We visited Selou game reserve and Mikumi national park. They were very different from each other: in Mikumi there was savanna and in Selou it was more forest and brushwood. Our guide called was Hassan and he was polite, nice and knew a lot about animals and nature and what is the most important: he respected animals and the beautiful nature around us.

I recommend Smile with us tours!

Kenya Family Safari
5/5

We have been so blessed to travel with Sino Africa Safari on a safari to Kenya. The trip was organized so well and the staff were friendly, encouraging, informative and caring we had so many wonderful experiences and met some amazingly inspirational people in the communities we visited. The whole trip was organized very well, we felt safe and we were given many opportunities to converse with and experience firsthand so many aspects of life in Africa. Cannot speak highly enough of our tour guides and Sino Africa.

My boyfriend and I had seen animals only at the zoo before going to the safari. We came back about a week ago and our heats are still there in that magnificent place. Thank you, Gianluca for all the assistance and guidance. We had an amazing experience there! great food, very organized, wonderful and comfortable lodges, and tents, excellent food, excellent guides and that wonderful land and nature which is unforgettable to us and to anyone who visits! Thank you Safari Avventura!

About: Kenya
good animal viewing but roads and general environment poor
Overall rating
3/5

Wildlife - good viewing but most only visible on the roads, where they are almost "tame"
Guide was great. Indeed all Kenyans were nice to us.
Roads in the parks terrible limiting getting around and detracting from the pleasure of being there. A very rough ride!
Roads to get around also very crowded with terrible traffic jams, mainly due to large trucks.
Due to the inability to cross into Tanzania there were long drives to and from the parks, via Nairobi
Accommodations variable
Nairobi is a polluted crowded city with terrible traffic jams and no redeeming features
in terms of souvenirs, poor quality and very expensive with most not in ebony (although sold as ebony)

Outstanding Service!
5/5

The service provided by Sandra was amazing. Her help with planning our trip and making sure we found the right location for our honeymoon was outstanding. We could not have been happier with her recommendations of The Residence in Johannesburg and Lush Lodge, they were the perfect place for our honeymoon. Our holiday was stress free because of Sandra she made sure all transfers had us where we needed to be and her level of communication was above our expectations. Could not recommend Sandra and Traipsing Africa more.

Gorilla Trek and Queen Elizabeth Park Safari
5/5

My wife and I booked our Gorilla Trek and Queen Elizabeth Park Safari with Rumara in February 2020. The driver Onesmus and Charity from the office met us in Entebbe and took us to Bwindi National Park. We were treated so well that I felt like a life long friend. The driver/guide was most knowledgeable in regards to all animal life.
The accomodation was excellent at 3 locations. We managed to view a family of 14 Mountain Gorillas at Bwindi. This was the most unbelievable experience we have ever had. We then stayed a night at Lake Bunyonyi and enjoyed beautiful scenery and a relaxing atmosphere. Our last visit was to Queen Elizabeth National Park where we had spectacular close up views of herds of Elephants and also saw the tree climbing lions. These are very rare and was another highlight moment.
We were also treated to the Kazinga channel boat ride where we viewed Buffalo, Hippos, Elephants and many bird types. Nile crocodiles were also seen on the bank.
I would definitely book again with this company. We couldn't have been treated better or had more informative guides. Many thanks to Charity and Onesmus.

Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru and Amboseli - 6 day/5 night safari
5/5

We went on this safari and it was really great. We saw 4 of the big 5 (no leopard) and many more animals. Guide and driver Jackson was really good and he got us as close to the animals as possible. He was very well acquainted with the area and knew all whereabouts blindfolded.
Masai Mara was the best so if you have less days going there is enough. Honestly there’s a lot of driving to get from one park to another so if you really get annoyed in a car, 3 days in Masai Mara is enough. BUT you see Rhinos only in Nakuru. Amboseli was nice too but we just saw more elephants and giraffes and gazelles which we had already seen before. Masai village was really interesting too. If you go, take some gifts for the kids....the smile on their face is worth it. I didn't know so I just gave them my lunch but they were so happy sharing it. Despite its cons I still loved this safari.
