Professional and personal safari provided an amazing safari experience (our 2nd with Julius)
Just back from an amazing safari booked with Julius (JT Safaris) in Kenya. We, alongside Julius, booked a 10 day safari flying in and out of Nairobi. Harrison was our guide and driver. This was our 2nd time to Kenya, the 1st being 15 years ago, when Julius also organised our itinerary.
We started off with 2 days in Samburu, foolowed by 2 days in the Ol Pejeta Game Sanctuary, 1 day Lake Nakuru, I day Lake Naivasha anr 3 days Masai Mara. We travelled in a landcruiser – I would say an essential with the roads.
The experience we had was memorable for all the right reasons. We saw a diverse and plentiful amount of wildlife. Harrison was full of knowledge, an excellent spotter and a very special man to travel alongside. Harrison ensured we were comfortable en route and in our accommodation; taking into account our personal requirements.
Accommodation was a mixture of camps and lodges – all great with tasty food.

I have been looking forward to a trip through SA with my 4 children for a long time. Tanja has converted all my wishes into a beautiful program. It had to be a holiday where my teenagers would not miss the WiFi... Nature, animals, coast, city, and also activities. We traveled from Johannesburg via Lowveld, Sabi Sand, Hazyview. Mlilwane, St Lucia Umdloti to Cape Town.
We enjoyed it so much and Tanja was also accessible and very helpful along the way.
It was a once in your lifetime trip, we thoroughly enjoyed it. Tanja, thank you so much!

Very efficient, professional and flexible
We reached out to Nature Travel Namibia very late before planning the trip.
Hats off to Nature Travel Namibia and especially to Petra. We reached out to them like a month before the trip. Petra has been quick to response, very efficient, taking into account the specific requests we made. And at the end, managed to tailor a trip that met our expectations.
Regarding our guide, Chris, he is a skilled and informative guide. A real encyclopedia of Namibia. He gave us some much information, historical events, landscape evolution, endmic wildlife to fully understand the essence of Namibia. We also ended up following his great suggestions to do some activities we initially didn't plan to do.
Last but not least, thanks to him we managed to see a leopard in the wild.

Silas arranged our safari over five national parks in Kenya to match our requirements and route.
This was a private safari, just my wife and I, taking in Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru, Lake Naivasha, Amboseli and Tsavo West over 12 days. All parks had different terrain/landscape and we saw the big five plus so much more! Comparing with safari in Kruger RSA we saw more different animals and in greater numbers in Kenya. Our driver / ranger (Nelson) was very knowledgeable and helpful but not intrusive and this made for an excellent safari overall. Camp accommodation, food and service were excellent, all staff were friendly and helpful.

Great individual experience
My partner and I just returned from a 15 day trip combining both Ruanda and Uganda. Robert proposed a trip according to our wishes - we added some suggestions and always had a good communication before our arrival. Some of our stops were: Kigali with the genocide memorial and the Kandt house. We continued to Musanze visiting the caves and the Dian Fossey Memorial. Continuing to Lake Bunyonyi, we spent the day at the lake with a combined Kajak/boat tour and a community walk with an external guide. My partner went Gorilla tracking which he liked a lot. We continued with Chimps tracking and some game drives in 2 national parks also including some boat tours during which we saw a lot of birds, crocodiles and hippos. Another highlight was Murchison waterfall and seeing the Nile. We also had the chance to see how banana beer is made and how local prople prepare their coffee. At the end of the trip we got to know Kampala and even saw a shoebill with a baby near Entebbe which was one of the highlights of our tour.
What we liked most about our tour was that we really got an idea of how life is like in Uganda - we got in touch with many locals and also had the chance to try local food. The accomodations were in most cases very nice - even though we had planned a budget trip. We saw so many things we would never have expected - but never felt stressed. Robert and our guide Brian were very knowledgeable about all the animals and told us interesting background stories about life in the two countries. All in all we had a great time and would recommend Ovacado tours to everyone.

Phillimon Kamogelo <[email protected]> was a wonderful guide, driver, and camping leader to remote areas of Botswana, where we saw many, many species of wild animals and had a good trip. His cook and assistants were great, too.

Wonderful
Even traveling alone, the safari was a lot of fun, the drivers made us feel comfortable and gave great explanations about the animals and places, the vehicles were comfortable and well equipped.

Phenomenal Adventure
This was the most amazing experience my wife and I have had since the birth of our kids. I would do it again tomorrow without hesitation. Calm and quiet
The transport between the airport and the Kruger area, despite being a 5-hour trip, ends up becoming a quiet and quick journey, as there is a stop for a meal and the vehicle is comfortable.
