A very memorable East Africa trip, thanks to Discover Africa!
Discover Africa organized an amazing 11 day trip for us to Masai Mara, Ngorongoro Conservation Area and Southern Serengeti/Ndutu. It was our first trip to Africa, and thanks to the wonderful experience, we are definitely coming back for more. Our tour planner was Vihann. After an initial consultation to understand our interests, Vihann put together a few options for us to pick from. Throughout the process, he was very flexible and adjusted the tour a few times to meet our specific needs. Of all the tour operators we spoke to, Discover Africa was the only one that was able to get us the tour we wanted while still staying within our budget. They did a great job at minimizing travel time between the various lodges we stayed in - this was something other tour operators failed to do to this extent. We stayed at Kichwa Tembo in Masai Mara, Serena lodge in Ngorongoro, and at Lemala Ndutu Mobile camp in Serengeti. Highly highly recommend all of these places, especially Kichwa Tembo and Lemala if you want the authentic safari lodge experience. We were blown away by the hospitality throughout the trip. Our tour guides were patient, knowledgeable and planned each safari carefully. We got a private vehicle and tour guide for 6/9 days we were on Safari in Tanzania. Our guide, Ebenezer (Ben), played a big big role in making our trip memorable - highly recommend asking for Ben to be your tour guide. Our safari vehicles were great as well - rugged, reliable, well-equipped (refrigerator, chargers etc.), and spacious! Overall, highly highly recommend Discover Africa for your Africa travel plans!

Well organized safari and very helpful
We booked a 3 day/2 nights safari to Nyerere National Park (Selous). The safari it self was well organized with a boat trip, nature walk and jeep safari in the park. We stayed at Selous Jimbiza Camp just at the river which was amazing.
We had trouble with a delayed flight and they helped us out with an alternative flight very short notice, so excellent service.

Zohar was excellent every step of the way. Both before, during, and after the trip.
Zohar did an excellent job with every part of the trip. Communication and service was amazing. Any question we had before or during the trip were immediately responded to. We simply told them what we were hoping to see and do and they arranged the perfect itinerary to cover everything. We never had to worry about anything the entire trip. We simply showed up to meet our driver on day 1 and then everything is taken care of from that point on. All we had to do was enjoy the trip. We had a 4 day safari trip with 3 days in Zanzibar at the end. We did 3 nights in tented camps, 1 night in a lodge and then 3 nights at a resort(Zanzibar). All accommodations were phenomenal. Both the food and service were great. Best of all was our guide, David. He made the Safari experience far better than we ever imagined. We saw every animal we wanted to and more. David was extremely knowledgeable when it came to the wildlife, environment, and even plants and trees. We eventually found out that he had a college degree in wildlife management and frequently spends time with other guides refining their knowledge of botany and wildlife. He also seemed to know exactly where to go to find animals. We got to see many rare animals up close without any other vehicles around. He was extremely competent and always safe when it came to driving. We were genuinely sad to leave David once the Safari was over. We can't say enough good things about him. He really made the trip for us. There is not a single thing we would change about our trip. If you are considering a Safari, then I would highly recommend Zohar.

One of kind, amazing experience for mountains and coffee lovers
That was an amazing day trip. Many, many interesting info about life in Tanzania. Very nice hiking to the waterfall which was breathtaking itself! It of a kind experience of swimming under the waterfall! Afterward, when getting hungry there was a very nice lunch based on local food. It was followed by a super interesting introduction to the coffee production process and next we produced the cup of amazing true organic coffee ourselves. It was accompanied by local 'Coffee Boys' singing with great energy.
All in all, amazing experience, one of a kind.

A Great Experience!
Overall, a great experience—probably once in a lifetime. My wife and I did an 8-day safari for our honeymoon. Each day and each accommodation had a unique flavour. I didn’t know what to expect with the hotels, but was very impressed by the ambience, service and cleanliness. A couple of the hotels were even comparable to high-end hotels in the Mediterranean!
Just want to advise folks to bring a lot of cash as a lot of places won’t accept credit. There are also a few points in the tour (the tribal visits) where you’ll be expected to tip. For an 8-day safari for two, I’d bring at least US$500. You don’t really need Schillings, but bringing US$100 worth would be good.
We want to give a special shout-out to our safari guide, Cleopa. Don’t underestimate the impact that the guide will have. He wasn’t just the driver, he was our travel companion. He was reliable, and we trusted him fully. He had amazing eye sight as well! But more than anything, we developed a special connection with him on a more personal level, and will keep in touch hopefully for years to come.
We’d recommend Soul of Tanzania for your safari adventure, and Cleopa in particular if you can get him.

Good communication and safari guide
We went on a 2 day safari to Tarangire and Ngorongoro. The communication was good and it was booked easily. The guide was enthusiastic and gave us a lot of information about the parks and animals.

9 day Ndutu Calving Season Serengeti Migration.
We just finished the 9 Day Ndutu Calving season with Richard Moshi , our expert guide.
We were very impressed from the first contact with Lion King Adventures..
Rosemary did an excellent job informing clearly about the desired tour, with budgets and possible minor changes.. We opted for the midrange option.
This was our third trip to Tanzania and exceeded our best expectations.
Our main purpose was photography and it was a purpose achieved , with an appreciable number of “ keepers”.
Through well-planned logistics we managed to do the entire tour without resorting to the terrible lunch boxes .
Richard was unsurpassed in that regard.
A special thanks for a Lion King gesture that captivated us : two personalised wine bottles.
Richard, in addition to his kindness, revealed himself to be a profound connoisseur of wildlife , with an eagle eye.
He did his best to satisfy our intentions and he succeeded.
Good memories are made of this.

Great communication, professional organization and a lot of fun
We enjoyed every moment of our vacation. Uganda is a wonderful place to visit and has so much to offer. We particularly enjoyed the game drive in Murchison Fall NP, the boat tour on the Kazinga channel, the chimpanzee and gorilla trekkings.
Communication with Reagan was prompt and easy and the organization was professional. The price for the tour was one of the bests we could get but this didn't mean compromise on service and quality.
Highly recommend Dav Safaris.
Arafat is a great guide and excellent driver. He has extensive knowledge on all the places and animals we came across. Moreover he has a magical ability to summon the animals during the game drives.
9 days are way to short to properly cover everything so we will return for a longer stay for sure :)

James is the best, could not ask for more!
Just finished a 6-day tour and we definitely saw everything! In addition to seeing the animals in their natural habitats, you also get to drive through the towns between the parks and accommodations and see how the locals live. If you have the time, add the optional Maasai village for a truly authentic experience. It will definitely open your eyes to the luxury and privileges you have in your own life.
Our tour guide James was phenomenal! Throughout our time together, we covered over 1,500 km of roads, many of which are quite bumpy and he handled them like a pro in his 4x4 Safari Land Cruiser. Through his 10+ years of experience, he has a lot of connections in the parks and on his radio so he knew exactly where to go to see all of the mammals and birds. He was not afraid to be an aggressive driver to get to the best views. I noticed a lot of other safari drivers being content with a mediocre view. Not James, he would rush to the perfect spot every time so you could get as close as possible. He also had lots of knowledge of the animals, towns, and Kenya in general which was really helpful.
Lenchada Safaris should be a no-brainer booking. Buy with confidence and ask all of your questions before booking. They are very responsive.
