Helpful, knowledgeable and easily contactable.
5/5

This was our second safari organised by Transtrek, and we were looking for something to complement last year's Mara/Lakapia/Naibosho trip. Daniel suggested Meru/Samburu and it was once again a wonderful experience for all of us, grandkids included. It was all perfectly organised and it went very smoothly - transfers, sightseeing in Nairobi, internal flights, and departure. Thanks again for the advice and organisation Daniel. It was great.

Great Safari Experience with Furahia
5/5

Two of us did a 9-day safari with Furahia Safari. Our English speaking guide, Dismass was very knowledgeable with identifying the animals and birds but also their behaviors and symbiotic relationships. This really enhanced our experience. He was thoughtful and practiced in attending to needs throughout the trip.
Though our truck was a bit worn, we were very pleased with the accommodations, food, and most of all, the safari experience. Seriously consider Furahia if you are planning a Tanzanian safari.
On the practical side, we were in the Serengeti during dry season. If you are sensitive to dust, I recommend bringing some over-the-counter masks. Really helped minimize sinus problems.

Awesome experience, can't wait to do more.
5/5

Deograsias was always attentive in the planning stage, always responding quickly or updating our agenda when we made requests. His goal is to make his clients happy, this we learned. Our guide Dismas was a dream, we couldn't have had a better companion -- he is highly knowledgeable, responsible, and fun to be with, too. Our lodges and tented camps (Migration and Big Cats trip) were top notch (wifi, ensuite, good hot showers and bedding, often a swimming pool, etc.) , and we had great vegetarian food at each of them. If you go, and you should, be aware that there will be plenty of dust on the drives, so put some face masks in your suitcase, and be prepared for some bumpy roads!

Amazing Experience
5/5

We were travelling from India and it was our first visit to Africa.
Sunup adventures made sure it was a very memorable experience.
Both Chris and John are very knowledgeable and took very good care of us. John has super human eyes and he was able to spot animals at crazy distances :)
We highly recommend Sunup for anyone visiting Kenya!

What a wonderful experience provided by Wild Jungle Trails! Highly recommended.
5/5

I came to know Wild Jungle Trails through trusted personal references and was overwhelmed by their services and staff during my 10-day vacation in Uganda. Our guide (and owner), Lukwago Twaha, is a very special person. ❤️

Here is what was provided:
>Customized itinerary
>Attentive and accommodating treatment
>Super positive attitude throughout
>Trustworthy and safety-conscious events and activities
>Knowledge and solid relationships with locales everywhere we went
>Ease in booking, scheduling, and execution
>Excellent food venues

Here are some of the activities on our itinerary:
>3-night stay at The Haven (my favorite place — quaint and absolutely beautiful— ‘that day’-fresh fish served every day)
>Boat ride to the source of the Nile (which I learned was a complicated assertion to many)
>Trek through Rhino Sanctuary (got a t-shirt of Obama the Rhino — who escaped the sanctuary boundaries the day before our visit-lol)
>Hike thru Jungle to see chimps (we stood in awe watching a family of chimps interact—to include a little baby chimp who seemed to be personally entertaining us)
>Visit to local village to visit 7-yr old Mission-sponsored girl (Grace, the beautiful)
>Personal visit to home of city-dwelling dairy farmer (answering question, how do Ugandan’s live behind that gate?)
>White-water rafting on the Nile (Fun!! And safe due to excellent river guides)
>Two addt’l ferry/boat rides on the Nile (different times of day provide different types of bird and mammal sightings— who knew?!)
>And finally— 2 Safari outings (elephants, giraffes, antelope(s), birds galore, huge dung beetle(yes, odd to mention but so cool), signs of leopards and large cats ...)

Uganda is awesome!! Thank you Wild Jungle Safaris and Twaha.
