2-day Safari to Tarangire and the Ngorongoro Crater - Amazing!
5/5

After climbing Mt Kilimanjaro with a different company, my boyfriend and I went on the 2-day safari through Jerry Tanzania Tours. We chose Jerry at first because of the good reviews and great price. Jerry was extremely easy to get in touch with and even provided guidance on planning other parts of our trip in Tanzania. The day before the safari, Jerry came to our hotel and briefed us on everything we needed to know about the next two days. Our safari guide, Shirima, was an excellent driver and very knowledgeable the national parks, wildlife, and Tanzanian culture. Our "camping" stay was amazing - I would barely call it camping. We stayed in nice sturdy tents with beds, access to a clean bathroom with a shower, and the food was delicious. We visited Tarangire National Park and the Ngorongoro Crater - we saw amazing wildlife at both. At Tarangire we saw tons of elephants and giraffes. At the Crater, we saw a lot of lions, wildebeest and so many more. The scenery at the Crater is amazing. Throughout our time with Jerry Tanzania Tours, we were always taken care of. I would HIGHLY recommend going with this company, as they provide a great service at a great price.

Exciting, lavish trip to South Africa
5/5

April 2019 South Africa Safari with Kanyezi. Wonderful accommodations at 1692 Spier about 30 minutes from Cape Town and at Sabi Sabi Bush lodge in Reserve/Kruger. Sabi Sabi Bush had knowledgeable guides and trackers - I couldn't imagine better! The staff provided excellent service; the rooms were spacious and the beds more comfortable than most American beds.I Loved that Kanyezi gave me the option to upgrade my flights to biz class which made my 25-30 hours of flying time pleasant and comfortable. Sleeping on the flight kept my jet lag to a minimum. the Spier was fabulous and the location afforded our group the options of touring the Cape of Good Hope, the Cheetah Center, Stollenbosch, and Cape Town, all within a short distance. Kanyezi provided two sprinter vans for our group which allowed everyone to see the side views and in front of us (larger tour buses don't let anyone see where they're going when they have high seats). For me, it was a bonus to have Chris, one of the owners of Kanyezi, as our driver and guide in Cape Town. I liked that we were treated like adults and not herded around - we had ample opportunities to be on our own to explore both Cape Town and the surrounding areas. In Sabi Sabi, we had activities all day into dinner with daily guided walking safaris in our small group of six. We saw Rhino, Elephants and Water Buffalo while walking - what a thrill - and always safe. I would use Kanyezi again for a South African trip.

An unforgetable tour
5/5

It was a great tour I will never forget. We did the 3 day Murchison Falls Tour and it was amazing. The team chose a good programme, which really showed us the beauty of Uganda. The accomodation was really comfortable with good food. Our guides Justine and Ben were loving people, we enjoyed the tour together and had lot of fun. They were very reliable and caring.

Fantastic
5/5

The whole process with Like a Local Safaris was one of the best travel experiences of my life. From booking to payment, pick up and drop off, I can't say anything but the best about Like a Local Safaris. The service was prompt, timely, and provided a much better than expected experience. Our guide Jose took the effort to make sure that we were stocked with plenty of water and would clean off the dust from the inside of the jeep. His enthusiasm and knowledge really made our trip an experience we will never forget. It was obvious from very early on that we chose the right company for our safari to Kenya.

Reliably and in time. Friendly and helpful personnel.
4/5

Everything was great! Very good impressions! Raymond is really very experienced driver. Secured drive under extremely challenging conditions. In general, service satisfied the price. However, more telling about the animals while being in Masai Mara would be desirable.

Exceptional experiences in South Africa thanks to Anya Visser and Pembury Tours
5/5

My wife, another couple and I recently returned from 2 1/2 weeks of exceptional experiences in South Africa. Our itinerary was developed and arranged by Anya Visser of Pembury Tours. Her insights and attention to detail provided us with experiences we would have missed if we arranged the trip on our own. In addition, during our trip Anya was always available to make changes when necessary. Our trip included Phinda Forest Lodge on the Phinda Private Game Reserve, driving along the Garden Route with several days at the Fancourt Hotel in George, visits to wineries in the Stellenbosch area with several days at the Avondrood Guest House in Franschhoek, and exploring the beautiful Cape Town area while staying at the Queen Victoria Hotel. The setting and service at each of these locations was superb. Most importantly, the people we met in South Africa were friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend a visit to South Africa with Anya Visser's assistance.

3 days perfect tour in Safari
5/5

I just joined just 3 days game drive to Serengeti and Ngorongoro from Arusha in Tanzania. Thanks to 9 years experienced guide, I could meet lion, leopard, elephant, and Cape buffalo! Unfortunately I could not meet rhinoceros, though. It was my super amazing experience in Safari.

In addition, the Chef was excellent! He took care about Vegetarian and non-Vegetarian and present us super nice meals!

In last, they bring me to the Airport on last days. It was super helpful and fun for me.

Thank you 7 wonders safari team. I will meet you guys again!

One of the best experiences of my life
5/5

Our safari with Alvin at Papa Musili was undeniably one of the best experiences of my life. Not only did we get to witness the beauty of the animals in the various national parks, but we got to truly start to understand the Kenyan culture, people and way of life through our time with Alvin. He graciously and thoughtfully answered all of our questions - not all wildlife related, but also related to the wider culture and what it means to be someone from such a beautiful part of the world. His knowledge is incredibly wide reaching and we appreciated his thoughtfulness and his kind nature.

We felt like very privileged visitors to the animals home, where Papa Musili make it clear that we are not the boss. We are guests in the homeland of these incredible animals, and I have so much appreciation for the respect that Alvin and his team show for these animals and their habitat.

Communication was always crystal clear, and Alvin's love of and excitement over the national parks and their inhabitants is palpable. I truly believe we could not have had a better experience.

In a time where tourism sometimes does much more harm than good, we felt grateful for the positive impact Papa Musili strives to have in the community, and everywhere we went it was obvious that others felt the same way.

There are a wealth of safari companies out there. And it would seem almost impossible to distinguish how to choose which one to go with. I can wholeheartedly recommend Papa Musili and I very much hope one day to return and journey with them again.
