Great safari with amazing food
Took 3-day trip to Serengeti and Ngorongoro, driver was a real professional, thanks David Symba, he took us to such roads, where we couldn't see no one, except animals :) saw a lot of animals, including great 5. The stay was on camp-sites, it was nice. Also there was super chief with us, we expected, that we would have only sandwiches, but the food was amazing, as you would have restaurant always with you. But i also highly recommend to take some snacks with you, as you'll have long game drives and movements.
And finally i don't recommend to visit masai's village. I would say they are fake masais, just artists, that don't want to work. When you arrive they will ask you money, after that bring you to some souvenirs, and that's it, then they will tell you "time is over". No history, no answers on questions, you even can't walk around their village. Just waste of time and money.

Most awesome mountain experience
This was the most amazing experience I've ever had. Babaluu and his team took great care of us and were watching us all the time. They made our stay on the mountain a time to never forget. If you consider climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro, please choose Babaluu and his team. Big hug from The Netherlands!

Infrastructure Maintenance
I stay quite close to Pilanesberg National park and have been visiting the park from my childhood years. Although there are still a large variety of animals to see it is obvious that the numbers are declining especially the antelope which I presume is due to poaching from the nearby villages, not uncommon if one look at the state of the outside fencing.
What prompted me to write the review is the bad shape the park has fallen into. I remember the days where park maintenance especially roads were priority or so it seemed for the general road condition was kept in good condition. Unfortunately, that this not the case anymore. Also, the picknick sites I visited had visitors probably since there are no safety fences in place or completely discarded. Viewpoints are not getting the attention it should. I have noticed that there was some work done on new bridges, but it baffles me that the park accepted the bad quality work and finishing off concluded.
It is sad to see yet another part of government owned institution that are not receiving the proper attention it deserves and is sadly going backwards day by day.
Just whish our international visitors would put some pressure on the park management to start doing their jobs and look after the park.
PS. The decline of the park infrastructure cannot be blamed on COVID-19 like everything else as the decline has been observed for the last few years now.

Review about South Africa by JC de Beer
I still believe there are many excellent places to visit in SA that are looked after and I would rather visit these park than go oversees.

"The big five" in six days
We had a great safari experience with Meru Slopes Tours & Safaris. Before our journey we had excellent help from Geoffrey with fast response to all our questions, usually within minutes.
We had great service through the whole trip, starting and ending at the airport. Our driver/guide Jacob took as around four parks and gave us a unforgettable experience with his great knowledge and good spirit. He went over and above to let us experience "the big five". Apart from the animals the safari also was a great food journey thanks to chef Matthew, who served tasty local food.
We highly recommend Meru Slopes Tours & Safaris to anyone going on safari!

Excelent safari trip in Amboseli National Park. Exceed my expectations.
It was my third safari in Africa and I can only say that it has turned out to be a great experience. Antony is an excellent guide. He picked me up on time and even apologized during the trip to Amboseli because there was traffic in Nairobi ... 00
The tour was perfect. He did not mind adapting the itinerary to my travel needs. He booked me accommodation in a lodge that was way above my expectations and the three days of safari went very well. He asked me what I was interested in seeing and did his best to get it. I decided what time I wanted to go out. In the end we spent many hours looking for animals and the best views of the park so it was a perfect experience. I have no doubt that Antony will be my guide when he returns to Kenya on safari.

Chimp Trekking Beyond Wildest Expectations
My husband and I were blown away with the chimp trekking at Gombe. The guide was fantastic and it was clear that he had such a passion for the chimps and respecting their space. We were able to see the chimps hunting, playing, fighting with baboons, and so much more. We will never forget feeling so lucky to be experiencing their human like behaviors in person! Our accommodations were as expected and a step up from camping, but we knew that going in and it was fine. Our cabin had everything we needed for the night. Our boat operator, chef, and the man who provided our transport throughout the trip were all top notch!

Great trip and excellent service
On my first trip to Africa I used Kilimanjaro Bound and the experience was more than I could have hoped for. My sister and I opted for a private, week-long, camping safari, which was very reasonably priced, especially considering we never had to pitch our own tent or prepare our own food.
We traveled with a guide and a cook, both of whom were so professional, yet very warm and easy to travel with. I'm sure all the guides are amazing, but I can't say enough Ray. Since my trip, friends have requested him upon booking and are all happy they did so! I swear he knows more about the wildlife than Google, and loves sharing that knowledge.
I'll never forget a moment of this trip. Especially the night the lions visited camp!

Great first 9-day round trip in Uganda
We decided to use Grassrootz for our very last minute trip to Uganda. Turned out it was one of the best decisions!
Sander from Grassrootz quickly worked out our round trip plan for 9 days. Price was very reasonable.
He was responsive, professional and efficient. And he was very, very patient with my 3 million questions, and always provided solid answers.
He managed to get the lodges and gorilla trekking permit as I wanted within 2 days!!
David Otto, our guide and driver, earned our hearts and respect right away.
He is a Great driver and seems to know every road to every hotel and every national park!!!
He respected our privacy.
About Covid precautions, David did a better job then most people. He always wore a mask and changed to a new one everyday and constantly desinfected his hands.
He was fresh and sharp everyday, and he was also flexible with the changes we requested in the plan.
We saw all the animals we wanted and are grateful to have learnt Ugandan people and culture.
We are happy about the tour, and we are happier to have known Sander and David.
