Highly recommended
I recommend Phillemon and Walking Stick without any reservation. From our first communication all the way to the end of our six-day safari, he and his team were terrific. He was always prompt and clear in communications when we arranged the safari, and was flexible when we wanted to make a modest change. The two other staff with us, Kenny and Josiah, were unfailingly friendly and helpful. Four things stand out in my experience.
(1) Philemon is an excellent guide with astonishing ability to see and identify animals even from considerable distances. He knows every by-way and clearly knew how to maneuver our vehicle to get the best possible views of animals we encountered.
(2) While the relatively modest price tag for Walking Stick was one of the attractions to us, we felt like we were treated extremely well. The tent was very large, with a wonderful walk-out awning, and an enclosed area behind for the toilet and shower (which worked just fine). The food was very good - thank you, Josiah - and plentiful. Especially marvelous cakes baked on the open fire.
(3) We had a family emergency back in the States develop six days into our 10-day planned safari and had to rush back. Phillemon and his team completely got the situation, did everything they could to get us back to Maun, and then were invaluable in helping us figure out the complexities of making last-minute travel arrangements. We are indebted to him.
(4) Walking Stick is a small, locally-owned and operated company in a field largely dominated by larger enterprises with capital backing that local enterprises can rarely compete with. Going with an outfit like Walking Stick invests directly in the local economy - and you get tremendous local knowledge in the bargain.
Again, we happily and enthusiastically recommend Walking Stick!

Professionally organised safari to Amboseli
Good job.
Clear communication with Robert for preparation. Safari was done by James, nice guy; very friendly. He made very good efforts to let us see the animals that we wanted to see.
My suggestion is to provide more information about the animals and the nature during the safari.

Fabulous First Safari
Ines, I can't thank you enough for the wonderful experience!!!! I loved the places we stayed and was so grateful for the change you made in days at Victoria Falls so we could do more game drives. We saw great animals. Everyone was so friendly and helpful! All transfers went smoothly and I couldn't have asked for a better first safari!!! You worked with us to make this our own trip and it was outstanding!
I have told everyone who asks what a wonderful job you did for us!
Thanks!
Terry

Amazing Holiday
Memorable trip with an amazing guide. Antoni was a superstar who made us see the best side of the Masai Mara. Myself and 3 friends of mine went during the low season and the conditions weren't in our favor. Despite that, Antoni went above and beyond and allowed us to see the Big Five! He was passionate and very attentive to our needs.
Couldn't recommend him more.

REFRESHES THE PARTS OTHER TOUR OPERATORS CANNOT REACH
Yet again, top service from Lets Go Travel. Particular thanks to Paula Okello for all her efforts and her ongoing efficiency in making light work of potentially complex arrangements. Good documentation for the various components of the trip made life easy for the travellers (my wife and her sister-in-law from Australia). Definitely to be recommended.

Professional and fair prices!!!!
When we decided to visit Africa we started to send emails to several agencies to see how much would it cost our ideal trip. We wanted to do Kenya and Tanzania. Kenya walking survivor's safaris not only had the best and fair prices but also answered all our emails very quickly. Everything, and I mean everything, was organized and executed perfectly!!! In Kenya we visited Masai Mara, lake nakuru, lake naivasha ( our tour guide recommended us to go, it was on our way to other park but really is not worth it) and Amboseli. We got to see everything except the leopard in those parks. In Tanzania, we went to Serengeti, lake manyara (not worth it), ngorongoro and we climbed mount meru. We got to see everything, including the leopard in those parks except the rhino (they are really difficult to see, we only got to see them once in lake nakuru). All the accomodations were fantastic, great service and great rooms. The trekking part we did it with a company called Kiki holidays (also arranged by Kenya walking survivor's) and went perfectly. To sum up, Kenya walking survivor's is a professional company with fair prices that I would definitely recommend to all.

Unforgettable Safari
The whole 3-day safari was perfectly organised. We were picked up exactly as promised, and taken to Coffee Buzz, where breakfast and drinks awaited. After signing various disclaimers etc we were soon off on the 3-hour river cruise, which was really informative, and we got really good views of a wide variety of animals, with excellent commentary from our guide.
After an excellent lunch at Coffee Buzz, we then set off in our jeep for the main safari. Our driver - Lance - was brilliant, always smiling, and fully of useful information. Almost as soon as we entered the national park we encountered wildlife. Our first game drive lasted from 13:30 until 18:30, and we saw so many different animals on that drive, from the various antelope, to elephants (there are lots of elephants!), giraffe and a large pride of lions. The park is less crowded than ones in other countries, so when we saw something interesting we often had the whole view to ourselves.
The camp site, which was exclusively for the 7 of us on our safari, was basic, but the tents were good, and there were bush toilets - no fancy mod-cons here, so you get the real bush experience! The evenings were spent around the camp fire, eating excellent food (prepared by the hard working pair who stayed at the camp site throughout our safari), drinking wine and chatting/laughing a lot.
Two more game drives on day 2 revealed even more unforgettable sights - seeing a pride of lions feasting on a dead elephant was the highlight - and Lance has a sixth sense when it comes to spotting wildlife - we would be merrily cruising along and then he would grind to a halt and would point out something that we would never have known was there.
Day 3 comprised another couple of game drives and another river cruise, so all in all we really had value for money.
I cannot fault anything about this safari, and would highly recommend it.

Everything perfectly organised from start to finish
Thanks to Anne and all the team at Amazing Memories Safaris for making our (my son and I) first trip and safari to Kenya a great experience. All the pre-trip itinerary options and selections were done very well; in fact I had initially booked to travel in March, but managed to break my leg in February, so had to change our travel dates to July. Anne reorganised the trip with no problem, finding us accommodation in what was of course an already mostly fully booked peak safari season. Our trip did not get off to the best start as we missed our connection from Europe to Nairobi due to a late incoming flight. Anne reorganised the team to pick us up at the airport very (very) early the morning after our scheduled arrival no problem. The safari part (6 nights: 1 in Treetops, 1 in Lake Nakuru, 4 in Masai Mara) all ran like clockwork, our driver John was excellent as both our guide and driver. All we had to worry about was getting to the hotel receptions each morning and afternoon, where John was always waiting, ready to go. In terms of game sightings, we saw all the Big Five and many other species, including cheetah. In the Masai Mara, we saw 28 lions, including 18 on one day, in 3 different sightings, all very close up. Of course, sometimes it is the luck of the day, but we were very happy with what we saw. While we joined the sightings where many vehicles had already gathered which is normal (for lions, leopard and cheetah - the drivers / guides keep in touch by radio to see where the action is), John also had the patience to look in many areas on our own, away from the main tracks, and this produced a leopard only a few feet from us, which we were able to enjoy by ourselves. Once again, many thanks to Anne and the team.
