Amazing Safari
The Safari was amazing! This experience was more than I could have ever dreamed of.
Even though I booked the safari through a travel agency, Gavin (Wild Wings), reached out to let me know that I was going to be picked up and dropped off at my hotel instead of the OR Tambo Airport, making the beginning of the safari even more enjoyable. He checked up on me couple of times making sure that every thing was going well.
The Skukuza's camp was perfect! the little hut was comfortable and clean, also the camp's store was awesome.
Sam was the perfect guide, he was really experienced spotting animals from miles away, he was knowledgeable and he patiently answered any questions. Sam made sure that we were getting the best view of the animals.
At nights after the game drives, I had a great time sharing with Nicky (another Wild Wings Safaris guide ), Sam and the rest of the group eating great South African food prepared by Jacques. If you are vegan or vegetarian like me, don't worry Jacques got you covered.
If I could give Wild Wings Safaris 10 stars I completely would!

One in a life time experience!
This was a memorable experience. As a woman traveling alone I highly recommend this Safari. Everyone was really kind and Kikitu, our travel guide was the best. We got to see all the animals at the Massai. Acommodation was great as well! I completely recommend all the experience.

Great tour, professional company and guide
My friend and I did a 4 day gorilla and lake tour of southern Uganda from Kigali. I would highly recommend both the tour, the company, and our guide Fred. Communication with the company was easy, they were very responsive, payment was easy, the hotels we stayed at were great, and our guide Fred was very professional and had a lot of information to share with us. He was a great driver and also seemed knowledgeable about our questions on local history and culture.
I had hoped to see gorillas interacting with one another, but unfortunately for us our gorilla family were found in a very dense part of the forest so this wasn't possible, and we couldn't see them very well. We did, however, get to see the silverback very clearly. Fortunately were were just 4 tourists in our group so we were able to easily maneuver around each other in the dense vegetation to get a good look at him.
I would also highly recommend doing the 4 day tour and going to the lake. The hotel there was wonderful and the setting gorgeous, with many volcanoes in the background. The lake is swimmable (no bilharzia) and you can rent paddleboards or a canoe, or take a boat across to an island and hike. Lots of options of things to do there. Plus the food was delicious.
I don't normally give 5/5 reviews, but all in all this experience was great!

Honestly best experience and learned so much!
This was the best trip I've had to date and only because we had James as our guide throughout. He is the best safari guide and all around.
James has excellent communication skills with an in depth knowldge of wildlife, the parks and also a great sense of humor. To name a few, we went to the masaai mara national park, lake victoria, lake nakuru, lake naivasha and local parks around the lakes. James also has the best recomendations on kenyan food and local hot spots, including for checking out the Nairobi night life.
If you want to experiece authentic Kenya in the funnest and safest way, James and his crew are the ones to contact!

James of Adventurer Explore Africa is simply the best - we had an amazing experience in Kenya!
James was the perfect guide from start to finish. I visited Kenya in December of 2019 for three weeks with my partner Nancy who is Kenyan. We were put in touch with James through Nancy's family. James picked us up at the airport and drove us to all of our destinations while we were in the country, save for a trip to Mombasa, which we flew to. Our trip included time in Nairobi, the Masai Mara, and Western Kenya near Kisumu.
Every part of the trip went very well. James provided excellent recommendations all along the way.
The safari tour in the Masai Mara was an incredible highlight. We stayed within the park. James and a colleague of his took us on safari drives each day and they knew their way around the park very well. We saw each of the "big 5", which is by no means guaranteed: lion, leopard, elephant, rhino, and water buffalo; plus much more! We were there just for a few days and I could easily spend months there. Something new every day and majestic beauty.
There are many more moments to note, such as James connecting us with a well-known professor at Kisumu University who met with us and signed his books for us. James knows Kenya: the people, the places, and the wildlife. He is a great conversationalist and guide all-around. He goes above and beyond.
We hope to come back and we will definitely look to James and Adventurer Explore Africa as our guide again. Many thanks to them for the amazing experience.

Samburu, Lake Nakuru and Masai Mara safari
My family and I had a wonderful time in Kenya thanks to Kikwetu Cultural Adventures. We read positive reviews about Kikwetu on Safaribookings.com and contacted them along with a few other Safari tour companies. We were most impressed by Kikwetu, whose consultant Kenneth was by the far the most professional and accommodating. His communications were always clear and timely. Through Kenneth we organised a tour taking in Samburu NP, Nakuru NP and the Masai Mara. Our safari guide Chris was amazing. He was passionate and knowledgeable about the wildlife and always patient and good humoured. Thanks to Chris and Kenneth we saw everything we wanted to see, including: leopards at every national park (a pair mating in the Mara), countless lions, white and black rhino, elephants, Reticulated and Rothschild giraffe, buffalo, cheetah (including the 5 cheetah brothers), hyena, gerenuk, oryx, eland, crocodiles, vultures, impala, jackals and thousands of wildebeest and zebra. The lodges were great and the people lovely. We had a unforgettable holiday thanks to Kenneth and Chris. We could not recommend Kikwetu more highly.
