It was a superbly organized 3-day safari.
It was a superbly organized 3-day safari. Our guide and our cook were excellent. The food was great. We were well looked after and any allergies or physical conditions were taken care of.
We were in the Serengeti for the migration. Billions of animals, incredibly beautiful. You could stay there for hours and just watch. Our guide Samuel provided information about every animal and, on request, also searched for animals (and usually found them). He is one of the more cautious guides who does not disturb the animals. I personally liked that. Sometimes, however, you wanted to get a little closer or stay longer. The nights in the Serengeti and Ngorongoro were exciting, a little more so in the Serengeti. Here there were hyenas and lions at and in the camp. Nevertheless, we slept wonderfully, as getting up early, keeping watch and the fresh air made us tired.
Unfortunately, the last day in Ngorongoro was a little too short. We were under some time pressure due to our companions' connecting flight. Nevertheless, we saw many animals and the crater is beautiful.
Final summary:
Very nice safari, unfortunately too short but good for a first impression. The camps are “public,” i.e., “normal” tents and buildings. Mattresses, blankets, and pillows are provided. Tip: You could skip the lunch break with a packed lunch. Then you could see more animals during your visit or relax more in the park, as it takes a lot of time. Some of the information about the animals seems a little “worn out”; that could be improved. Otherwise, there's nothing much to complain about.

Good Value for money
The agency was very reactive and they were able to satisfy our needs and request. A very good value for money deal. The local guide, Rhino, was well prepared and committed.
Recommended!

Good experience
We booked a safari with "ETA adventure safaris", the general experience its been good, our gide gilbert was been the best to find all the animals. We only have had some little problem with the tickets for the train from Mombasa to Nairobi.

My safari trip
Me and my friend recently completed our trip to Uganda and our safari trip with Buyaga.
Our trip was a 5 day excursion where did the gorilla and chimpanzee trekking along with a short safari drive in QE2 and a boat ride in the Kazinga channel.
For the most part our trip with Buyaga was great and we are so pleased we went with them. Peter was always very quick at replying to emails from the minute we enquired to when we went on the trip. We even changed a guest half way through but even that wasn't a problem. Our driver for the 5 days was Simpson who was brilliant with us. Not only did he ferry us around on the long days of driving with a smile at all times but me and my friend had a good time just chatting with him at dinner each night and getting to know him, and him us. We can't fault Simpson throughout and he is one of the main reasons we'd recommend Buyaga.
Our only faults we found was 2/3 of our hotels changing without being told. We were always put in nice accommodation but the first one we was looking forward to having a lake view.
The only other complaint we'd have is missing out on the tree climbing lions in Ishasha. This was due to unsafe roads we were told which we can appreciate is out of their control but would of been nice to have replaced it with another game drive in QE2 instead or something as then the 3rd day became just a travel day like the 1st and 2nd.
On the whole we were very pleased with Buyaga, Peter and of course Simpson. We were also blown away by how lovely a country Uganda was. Green everywhere and we always seemed to meet friendly people.
The chimp and gorilla trekking was of course the highlight and we can't recommend it enough. If this on your to do list and you're looking for a tour guide, we would recommend Buyaga for you to look at.
Thanks again,
Ashley and Johnny

Very professional tour provider
Fantastic experience! the guides were very kind and appeared well informed, every tour detail seemed well-organized, there were personnel always available to meet us where we needed them. All the meals were excellent, and all of the lodges were cozy. Thumbs up Heteroventure Adventures, well done!

Very nice
I would totally recommend them. Only one thing that you should improve it to be a little bit more detailed on the itinerary. Other than that, the hotels they choose are nice, except the one in AA Amboseli. The travel agent helped us with everything we needed and even though we had a flight delay they managed to get us to Masai Mara in another vehicle to start the safari. Also the Driver we had was very helpful and good driver and patient and knew a lot about the animals.

Amazing safari experience with really a terrible airport transfer.
The Tsavo East Safari experience was amazing. Honestly one of the best experiences in our lifes. The freelance safari driver was really good and profesional.
The Safari 10/10
Voi Wildlife Lodge hotel at the safari was good as well. Unfortunately no A/C in the room and it was really hot. The food was nice. The best part of this Lodge was the view - we could see many wild animals, including hippos!
The worst part of our trip was the transfer from the airport to Safari and then from safari to Diani.
The car we got picked up by, was very old and could barely reach the speed of 70km/h. We were overtaken by trucks… The journey that was supposed to take 3h according to google maps, took us 4h.
On the was from Safari to Diani, the car broke down… which wasnt surprising at all. We waited 1h for some other guys to try and fix it, but without success. Our guide eventually paid the guys to take us to Diani with their car, which was significantly better.
But unfortunately, the second car broke down as well! This time we managed to get to some mechanic and it was done after around 15 minutes.
Very exhausting and unpleasant journey. This time instead od 3h 30’ - it took us 5h.
Better ask about the car, before booking!

Friendly, energetic & informative
A very faired price for the experience, it was an adventure. The car broke once but the guide solved it and the problem was taken care of. The guide Peter told us alot about every animal, which was nice! We saw alot of animals and in total we are happy with our safari!
Ps. We sent a deposit and pay forehand and everything worked well!
