Full of knowledge and extremely easy to talk to.
Our safari adventure was incredible. This was not just down to the animals we saw but mainly our driver Gilbert. Gilbert made this safari special he made sure we saw every animal we could have but also provided us with loads of good knowledge on every animal we asked him about. This safari was worth every penny. I couldn’t recommend Uro adventures and safaris any higher. And if your lucky enough to have Gilbert as your driver then you are in for the best memory of your life.

Anneth was excellent! She worked for days to put together the best possible expedition plan for us, according to our wishes. The next day we already had the new offer! She is a totally reliable, dedicated, and kind person. We highly recommend her.

Wow! This experience surpassed all expectations. I will NEVER forget these 4 days, thanks to our group-mates, our chef Tito, and our OUTSTANDING guide Rocky!
I would really recommend Suricata Safaris as compared to others. For example, we would stop for lunches, and many people had lunch boxes, but not us!! Each lunch was a full course meal. Same with the breakfasts and dinners! Shout out to our chef, Tito! The food really surpassed all expectations.
I feel that we also got very lucky with our guide, Rocky, too. He was SUPER knowledgeable about everything. I myself a high school biology teacher really appreciated being able to ask him any question about animal behavior, ecosystems, and even the flora of the park. He always had a positive attitude and a great sense of humor and really made the whole experience a true joy.
Some campsites were better than others, but Suricata provided heavy duty tents, warm sleeping bags, sleeping pads, and pillows. ALL park entrances are included in the price, which made everything seamless and easy. The vehicle was comfy and even had a cooler if you wanted a couple of beverages for the road.
Again, I really cannot recommend Suricata enough. They are not the biggest company, but I can tell they are very thoughtful and purposeful about what they do. They sent someone to our hotel to give us a personal briefing before the safari and then were adamant about feedback after the safari was done.
Scroll no further, just book these guys!

Patient and Professional
Our trip was scheduled during the COVID pandemic when a lot of traveling had been suspended. Rwanda was one of the few countries that had implemented strict and effective protocol which allowed us to safely enter the country for eco tourism.
OffTrek Safaris was the consummate tour guide. They were timely and professional. Our schedule was clear and we entered the park and lodges with ease. Our tour guide, Emmy, was extremely patient and was committed to helping us spot the big five animals in the park. He helped us take amazing photos along the way.
I will remember that safari fondly and will definitely use OffTrek Safaris again when I visit Rwanda in the future.

George is a very experienced, knowledgeable, passionate, flexible tour operator.
Our experience with Brilliant Adventures and Safaris transcended our expectations. From our initial communication with booking the tour to leaving Arusha after our tour was over, we were amazed by the service from our driver guide George and our agent Julieth. They were communicative, reliable, flexible and very accommodating to our needs. We appreciated that the tour was private and customizable to the experience we wanted. We saw an amazing side of Tanzania and the passion and knowledge that George has for nature was brilliantly shown to us throughout our 8 days with him. We had the privilege of learning about everything from way of life to animals to language, and saw amazing wildlife along the way. We are very happy with our experience and believe it was worth every penny.

A smart choice for cost-effective travel
This travel agency offers budget-friendly itineraries without compromising on quality.
We especially want to commend our drive guide, John Mwangi. Not only was he always punctual, but his driving skills were excellent, ensuring we smoothly encountered a wide variety of animals.
Despite my travel companion and I having limited English, John was always patient and friendly in his communication. If we ever have the chance to visit Kenya again, we'll definitely choose this agency!

Perfect
We went on a 4 day golden monkey and gorilla trek adventure with Big Apes. Our assigned tour guide was Blair and he was awesome. He was timely, communicative, friendly, and went above and beyond to make sure we had the best experience. Blair was knowledgeable about all of the surrounding areas and made our travel between Rwanda and Uganda a breeze. He made sure we were able to do everything that we had planned and even made a few slight tweaks to accommodate our preferences without question. Overall, I highly recommend Blair and Big Apes for any similar adventure.

Big focus on our happiness
Overall
Our safari was an incredible experience overall. We were lucky enough to see nearly all of the animals we had hoped for—missing only the elusive leopard, which is understandably harder to spot as they’re nocturnal. The value for money was insane - it was great and so much cheaper than the other alternatives for the same thing.
Our group dynamic was really positive; everyone got along well, though the group changed fairly often, which keeps things interesting.
The packed lunches were consistently good—filling and convenient for long days out in the parks.
It’s definitely an exhausting trip, with lots of early mornings, but it was all worth it for the wildlife and scenery. The food was always hearty and generous—sometimes a bit too much given how little physical activity we were doing, but it was always tasty and appreciated.
One of the best aspects was how well-placed all of our accommodations were—right near the national parks, which made our days much more efficient and enjoyable.
Derrick
We had an absolutely fantastic experience with Derrick who helped organise the trip. He is incredibly kind, extremely reliable, and always willing to help—no matter the time. He even answered our calls at night without hesitation, helped us move our safari seamlessly, offered valuable advice on visas, and went the extra mile to book our train tickets.
What stood out most was how well-organised he is. Derrick managed to plan a unique, personalised trip for us, making everything feel effortless and smooth. We couldn’t recommend him more highly!
Anthony
Anthony was an absolutely brilliant driver for the Masai Mara. His attitude truly reflected the mindset: “I want to make you happy”—which should honestly be the motto of the whole company.
He’s an exceptional driver, getting us impressively close to the wildlife while always ensuring we felt safe and informed. Though quiet, Anthony shared just the right amount of information—he clearly knew the animals and the land inside out. We never missed a moment—from a hunting cheetah to lions feeding—and Anthony often got us to the scene early.
Leroy
Leroy was an outstanding guide from start to finish. His knowledge of the animals was truly impressive, and he communicated everything so clearly—his English is excellent, which made everything smooth and easy to follow.
He’s a skilled and reliable driver, and we always felt in safe hands. Beyond that, Leroy was incredibly approachable—easy to talk to and always happy to answer our questions. He shared stories about his life and gave us so much insight into Kenya, which added real depth to our experience.
One moment that really stood out was how hard he worked to make sure we caught our train at the end of the trip. He completely understood our needs and worked with us every step of the way to make it happen.
Masai Mara
We had a lovely stay at Flair Camp Experiences. The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and genuinely keen to help. They always made sure we felt safe and looked after—escorting us to our tent each evening with a torch.
The food was a real highlight—absolutely delicious. The chef was fantastic, consistently serving up impressive four-course meals.
There were, however, a few practical issues during our stay. Electricity was a bit temperamental, especially when it rained, and in our tent, the plug sockets and hot water didn’t work, which was a little frustrating.
That said, the overall experience was warm, welcoming, and memorable—and with just a few improvements, it could be truly exceptional.
Nakuru
Buraha Zenoni Hotel & Resort was a comfortable and pleasant place to stay. The rooms were very clean and nicely maintained, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel had a relaxing, resort-like feel.
We were only there for one night so, unfortunately, we didn’t have time to take advantage of the facilities, but everything looked well-kept and inviting. One small downside was that our toilet didn’t flush overnight and we weren’t forewarned—something that could definitely be improved.
The buffet was a real highlight, offering a wide variety of tasty options, and the view from the restaurant was absolutely beautiful.
Amboseli
Nyali Safari Camp was a real highlight of our trip. The views of Mount Kilimanjaro were absolutely stunning—waking up to that backdrop was unforgettable. The tents were incredibly spacious; ours had five four-poster double beds, all with mosquito nets, which made it feel both luxurious and practical.
The staff were quick and efficient—when a lightbulb wasn’t working, it was fixed within 10 minutes. The buffet had plenty of good options, and the overall facilities were excellent, offering both comfort and convenience.

My experience and the exceptional service in my dealings with VIATU were way above my expectations.
From start to finish, I was constantly updated on the booking of the tour, the costs and additional services offered . Any changes I requested were actioned immediately and I received revised quotes and suggestions.
The accomodation, flights and car hire which was booked on our behalf was of all to our liking and satisfaction.
The app which we downloaded was user friendly and made everthing so much easier for us. I had my full tour with all details readily available, without having to look for maps, contact details or any other info.
Our agent Simone Ferk, showed extreme patience in all her dealings with me and responded within minutes of any query.
A quick call to the concierge on one small query while we were away was dealt with timeously and efficiently.
Viatu will be my " go to" agent for any further tours and travels.
