Private Camp Safari in Tanzania
Last year in November we booked a trip with Migration Venture Africa to North Tanzania parks circuit. We had Anderson as our guide, he is very experienced and jovial man. He went over and beyond to give us an amazing gaming experience full of beautiful wild life sights. For the 5 days we were with him we saw all the big 5 and every other animal including birds found in the parks of Tanzania. The camping option was a great way to get the real jungle vibe given we slept and ate very well, the only difference from a lodge is the lack of crowds, so it was more intimate.
We are happy to say the Migration Venture Africa surpassed all our expectations in every way possible.

Trip of a Lifetime.
What an amazing experience from start to finish. However, what made our trip even more enjoyable was our guide, Thomas Nina. Tom is local to the area and from the moment he picked us up, he made us feel right at home. Honestly, this man is amazing. From spotting wildlife, predicting what the animals are going to do and where to best move / position the truck to watch the action unfold. What added even more to the experience was Tom's stories about growing up in the area, from a small child, to teenager and ultimately becoming a guide. Tom had us laughing so hard our stomachs hurt. He kept us entertained the whole time, whether we were at dinner or driving around in the truck. Tom is an absolute legend and I’d happily go back just to tour with him again !!!

It was a beautifully organized experience we will never forget!
From the booking and planning to the day of the experience, One Horizon Africa blew us away. Everything was well planned and there were so many personal touches that our tour guide added to the experience. He answered all our many questions and helped us connect with the wonderful Maasai women we spent the day with. We came away with a better understanding of the Maasai womens' lives in Kenya and we connected with them on a very basic level as fellow mothers. We sang, made jewelry, and shared stories. One Horizon provided us with professionally taken photos for memories of a fantastic day and even sent us email thank-you notes following the experience. We would recommend them to anyone.

A wonderful Masai Mara experience
We had a wonderful time on safari with Eric in the Masai Mara. We saw all the animals we wanted to see and then some. Eric was a fun and kind guide with lots of stories and experience driving and helping people take pictures. If I ever get to go back to Kenya, I would definitely choose to use his safari company again!

I went with my son. From the arrival we begin to enjoy. Soon we began to see animals and with the feeling that we entered his house. We always travel in a 4x4 and our dear guide Weru, made us see the big 4, among many others. We saw them hunt, rest, bathe, etc. We were with the Massai. We saw wildebeests and zebras crossing the Mara River. Weru was absolutely involved with us, took care of us, took us to the best places to, almost, be able to interact with animals. It was all very exciting. Weru was always punctual in our collections. The hotels where we stayed were very nice and they made sure that we felt comfortable. It was all like a dream. Both my son and I still remember, even today, anecdotes from the trip. Thank you very much Weru for the happy days that you put us through. My wife and I had been on one previous safari vacation and were looking forward to further explorations In Africa. Celebrate Birthday with Nature Adventure
We were a group of 5 people scheduled to enjoy my birthday weekend with nature drive and looking at gorillas, after having booked leave and paid for the permit months in advance. It was a remarkable experience. First off, there’s a very good reason they call in impenetrable, ensure never to get lost in there. You will never let to know which way is up, down or return without a guide, so the wonder of it all is something, the huge trees, the fog, the ever persistent rain. Also there are gorillas and some other primates and birds, which I must add are quite colorful. I was worried I’d not enjoy the experience because it was my first time in deep forest but met up with another group that morning and we trekked together it was fascinating, talking to people obviously so different at face value. Must add this to your life list. Not bucket list. Thanking to this great company for this amazing pleasure.

This safari was a special task to arrange. It was a new concept that no one has done before. A bicycle Safari. It took a lot of planning and coordination to comply with both ends of the trip - Bicycles and the needed support of spare parts, technical service and ongoing support and on the other side, arranging the Safari, lodging, guides and support on the field, and most of all safety of the group.
